Here we have the second part of my pixel art tutorial series. We're taking a quick look at animation this time so you can make all of your pixel art, well, animated. Again, this tutorial is made for people who have not yet attemped any kind of animation so it might not be of much use to those of you who have already dabbled.
Here are all the Snuffles icons made during this tutorial. Below them are a couple of other examples of how you can use the animation effects explained here.
There are a million pixel art tutorials out there, so I tried to make mine informative, not repetitive. Hope it helps in some way! - Download to view in full!
Thank you all so much for all the comments in my previous pixel art/ icon tutorial! * U * I made it for my watchers originally and I'm glad more potential pixel artists (and artists alike) go to see it too. Feel free to ask any questions or if you want me to help with your wips!
UPDATE: I save my icons in Photoshop as GIFs c: The background is transparent, I don't have layer with white bg! You can also save it as png file with transparent background in SAI, but you won't be able to add animation then. I will tell more about it in the next tutorial c: __________________________________ Pfffff finially I've finihed it! /// sigh forgive me my mistakes in English ; n ; This is my first tutorial, but I hope it can be helpful! Feel free to ask questions if you don't understand something c: Also I'm going to make another tutorial about animation^^
As I said, please do not use my icon base or I will find you hehe And please, at least fav this tutorial if you use it c: Enjoy!
Tutorials are all the rage! So here's one way you can make pixel art - or more specifically pixel dolls. I love looking at pixel icons sprout up everywhere but I also noticed a pixel icon trend where the bodies are shrinking, coupled with ginormous heads. I hope my tutorial is of use to anyone and everyone!
