Who's up for an adventure today?! :D

The wings were made by adapting =Sunnybrook1's Realistic Wing Tutorial: [link] I ended up making quite a few changes to it, but that's what inspired the basic idea! Definitely check it out if you want to get a general understanding of how my wings were made.

I was also honored to have Rin join me as Link! She was absolutely perfect and I had so much fun getting to cosplay her! (The first of many more in the future!!)

These costumes have been featured in a few Katsucon cosplay videos!

Link really isn't too sure about this whole flying thing...

Otherwise known as... "Sirene's Sirens" ;D

Brenda and Courtney came up with Ivy and Harley designs to go along with my Shanghai Catwoman~!

I wore this for Ackson's first Katsucon cosplay video, which you can watch here: [link]

"She's slipping."

I was finally able to finish my Azula cosplay for Katsucon last weekend! I had so much fun during this photoshoot (and basically the entire time I was wearing her, haha) since I got to look so crazy and insane the entire time! This is a preview shot that Mitch sent me, I'm excited to get the rest of the photos back - as well as the Agni Kai shoot I did with my friend George as Zuko! : D

Bit of a Toothiana preview! I like this shot since it shows the details of the circle lenses - this was my first time trying KISS lenses and I absolutely loved them, they were super comfortable and really added to the "non-human" quality of Tooth's appearance ~

Note: This was my first time making a latex prosthetic! It was extremely fun, I really enjoyed sculpting the details (which took around seven hours). That being said, the cast came out pretty rough; I made the mistake of casting this prosthetic with a latex that was way too rigid, which led to there being a very thick edge, and using liquid latex over the edge didn't do much to help lessen it. It was super distracting so I choose to use the clone tool in Photoshop to get rid of it. Before I wear the costume again I'm going to remake it; I've done some more research and apparently foam latex would have been the appropriate choice for this sort of application (whoops!), since it can be stretched and torn to create a paper-thin edge that will blend really easily. So please forgive the editing! Not trying to deceive or trick anyone, just wanted to make these photos useable after all the hard work my friends and I did to get the bodysuit done! ^^;

For a break from Winter Storm Nemo, here's a Fawn photo from last April to remind you of warmer days~

"Wings up, ladies, and take no prisoners!"

~

Before you ask: ;P
- The wings are made from craft foam, wire, and a sheer pearlescent fabric.
- The feathers were hand-dyed (they were white to start with). There are approximately 2,750 of them; they were all attached to a bodysuit by hand with the help of ~AmeZaRain and CopperLoks! The harness is comprised of two straps that criss-cross over my chest and attach to the wire frame. The straps go under the bodysuit.
- The large purple feathers are made from wire and flannel fabric, accented with peacock swords.
