In a Little Girl's MindThere sits the girl with the things in her eyes
Monsters, destruction, and sweet butterflies
Hopscotch and daisies, surrounded by screams
Beautiful dresses now torn at the seams
Crayons and paintbrushes, villains and grins
Young, gladsome innocence, hatred and sins
Little red houses on roads left to fade
Gorgeous moonlight shining off of the blade
Blood pouring out as she cries her own name
Knowing she's forced to take each bit of blame
She could have stopped it and left it behind
All of these things in her troubled young mind
She could have saved them if she dared to try
Rather, though, she left herself there to die.
Now, others watch as she sits on the ground
Keeping their distance and letting her drown
In her own worries and things she won't tell
Waiting for her mind to kill her as well…

where did you put
your heart you
bitch, i know you
must have one there
and when the light lets
itself in through
my bedroom curtains,
i will always say
go fuck up
do you still crack
your knuckles when you're
angry? take two

tea, carry a scythe?
well i carry the devil
in from the car when he's too
tired to walk, he tugs
at my sleeve with his little

hard it is to get closure
that makes you feel
ripped wide open, mate,
now carry me in i'm too
tired for all this tonight -
oh, one more thing,
the shore can never leave
no matter how hard
it tries, again and

so just go with the flow
it gets better,

STATUS: CLOSED, filled all my slots. Thanks everyone!
I will open commissions back up once I've completed my current set!!!
I'm currently trying to save up for RTX next year but with saving up for college tuition and putting money towards a car and a new computer it's looking a little more difficult than I anticipated at this point haha. I'm pretty much at my goal for tuition but after I pay off my car and computer it'll set my savings back quite a bit, but having a car and computer when school sneaks around will be pretty vital for me so I don't mind having to dig into my college savings for them. I'm gonna start doing some commissions here and there every month to put towards RTX and put all my job and artist's alley money towards important life things I've decided haha. Going to RTX would be very important to me though, seeing as my best friend who I've unfortunately not had the opportunity to meet irl

The rules are simple, every 100 hugs I get on my counter (it's closer to the bottom of my page), I will give 10 points to the deviant that screenshots it first! :'D
This is a easier type of kiriban because how many times you can click is unlimited!
Now go try now! Go to my page! artvelocity

Comment your screenshot below!
I'll try to keep all the winners posted here.
N/A = means no winner. Either nobody got it or I messed up.
IF YOU WANT POINTS IT MUST BE THE EXACT NUMBER.
If you've won. Allow other people to win please. (I won't choose previous winners anyways..)
NaNo is Around the CornerOnce again, we find ourselves getting ready for the insanity that is NaNoWriMo. If you've never heard of it, NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month. That means in the span of thirty days, participants will write 50,000 words.NaNo is Around the Corner2 years ago in Literature Features More Like This
1,667 words per day if they're writing every day.
2,273 words per day if they're only writing on weekdays.
6,250 words per day if they're only writing on weekends.
Either way it's a pretty hefty feat, and not something to walk into unprepared. Even if you're a "by the seat of your pants" type of writer.
Which is where planning and plotting come in. Sure, if you're a pantser, you can sit down and bang out a couple chapters, maybe a whole book, but can you do it in a month? Probably not. At least not without a little bit of preparation. For all the pantsers and everyone else, compiled here is a short list of things to keep in mind, ways to prepare, what no

Still Here, Still Writing, Still DreamingWell, it's the end of 2012 and the world still exists, and for that I can only be grateful. You see, life can be a funny thing. One minute you're sat at a desk, on your Packard-Bell desktop, forgoing your usual spates of Delta Force and Red Alert to place your first written words on a page. The next, you're here, with a couple of fan stories under your belt and work underway on a novel you've envisioned since you were a spotty, awkward teenager. I'm now ready to turn professional with my craft. I'm motivated, consistent and productive, though this has all come about within the last six months alone.Still Here, Still Writing, Still Dreaming2 years ago in Personal More Like This
How did I reach this point? A combination of the right words, the right places and the right people would be the obvious answer and yet it's not quite as simple as that. I've had to make some huge changes in both my life and what lies deep inside. Not my internal organs of course, I'm talking about my very outlook towards what I love to do.

Drawing the same things vs. trying out new thingsLet me tell you a little personal story:Drawing the same things vs. trying out new things6 months ago in Personal More Like This
In my almost 7 years of online presence as an artist, I experienced various and kinda strange things.
When I started, I mostly drew the same subjects: cute girls, mainly headshots. Soon the first criticism I received was "You always draw the same stuff and I slowly get bored." And yes, it hurt because when I was younger, I needed the acknowledgement of other people. We all do in a certain way, or else we wouldn't share our art in public, right?
But I overall had fun at what I was drawing. I liked my art style and to be honest, I never changed my style drastically. Sure, some things changed automatically, it's called development. And I simply enjoyed drawing cute girls.
Later some people suggested me to draw boys. May I reveal a secret? I recently read my old diary and even when I was 12, I already wrote "I can't draw boys!". And over 10 years later, you still rarely find a guy in my gallery.
I started to draw boys, when I want to show support to

time for another pointless journal...
Since the time I started drawing Islamic related artworks I got hate mongers coming by the tons. I expected that. religion and politics always attract trolls. Many Islamophobes who see me drawing Islamic stuff consider me a target for their bashing. Lately a few people made the same statement (accusation) so I thought I have to make myself clear.
"Does Nayzak support ISIS? (not the ancient Egyptian deity, but the so called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria)
I believe the people who regularly visit my page and read my articles already know the answer. but just to make things clear for those confused, I DO NOT SUPPORT FISIS (I chose to call it "the Fake Islamic State in Iraq and Levant" because it's not just un-Islamic, it's ANTI-Islamic. calling it Islamic is misleading and deceiving). and to make things clearer: I don't support ANY political Organization that has the word "ISL
