Was in a "Animal Loving Mood" and wanted to draw something a bit different, and ive never drawn animals in fights before so i made up some weird creatures and made them kill eachother, how lovely.
The one on the left was originaly a lioness i was going to make into a griffon but then there was this big gap on the paper and well the lioness looked kinda pissed so i put another body there. it was going to be my previous griffon i drew before [link] but then i remembered how much the wings pissed me off so i just made something else. turned out to be some werewolf or something like that.

Was short of black pencils and i was stupid enuff 2 make both of the monsters black knowing i had tiny black pencils but i made it i guess. then they both blended in together and looked plain so i put brown stripes on the werewolf and black ones on the lioness, and coloured the wing primaries blue (they were originally black as well...)

The lioness tail is from the magnificent lyrebird, a native bird of australia which can mimic all sorts of noises which he uses to attract a mate. the tail is like two long tiger striped tails with a heap of thin fan like feathers to fill in the gap.

faber castell and a few shit cheap pencils i scraped up to replace the dead ones....A4

This pose was fun to draw.

I created a group just for Toast~ :icontoast-tee-fan-club:

Hi everyone, I'm gonna try to stop deleting my gallery because Im throwing fits, and I'm gonna try to spend a little more attention here.
I used to be really active here on dA, but after moving to furaffinity, dA just didnt seem as nice. But i think that opinion was biased because of all the shit i got back when i was air-headed and full of myself, and had shitty characters lol
so i'll try to become more active, try to reply to notes and talk to people more and whatnot askdfjfg

Want to see a picture of yourself transformed into an anthro creature like this? I'll do it for you, you can specify what you want, and won't charge you anything! Click here to get started!

Made this one just because I wanted to try something new and create a mer-creature. I did not just want to make a mermaid where I Photoshop a tail on and call it a day; I decided to go all out. I was going to make the hair longer too, but that is very hard to do when you are dealing with large curls in the wind. Plus, I had a really good idea for a story that I hope you guys will like!

Stock used: Elaine21 by :iconfaestock:

Story: She was tired of being ignored. No one every paid any attention to her. No one ever talked with her unless it was important. Someone once said "bless you" when she sneezed, though! That was something! She tried to change this by making herself noticeable. She worked harder, tried to be more social, even worked harder to at least be noticed by her boss. Nothing would seem to work. She needed some way to grab people's attention. She got on her laptop and opened Google in hopes of finding an answer. She found that if she were to try to look more attractive, at least men would take more interest in her. Perhaps even ask her out! She went to the bathroom and observed herself in the mirror. She had flat, straight brown hair that went to her shoulders and ended abruptly. She wore solid colored shirts and jeans mostly. She looked under the sink for the curler her sister got her for her birthday a couple years ago. She never used it. After she was done curling, she went through her dresser. She found a lovely red dress. Next, she got out a makeup kit and applied. She was satisfied with what she did. When she went to work that day, she saw almost no difference. She got a couple weird looks from her female co-workers, and the men glanced at her. That was about it!
During lunch, she went outside into the ally to try an think. What was she doing wrong? Was she forgetting something? Then she remembered that there was a company party at the beach next week. She felt like that should be when she makes her move. But what could she do? "What's wrong? You look troubled," said a deep voice behind her. She spun around and saw a man in a lab coat taking a smoke break.
"Oh! I didn't see you there!" she replied.
    "I asked what's wrong."
    "What? Oh, n-nothing."
    "No, it is defiantly something."
"Well.. I am just not ever noticed. I tried all sorts of different ways to get attention. Today, I tried making myself look more.. attractive."
"Here's your problem: you didn't make yourself as attractive as you could have! You don't know how! Come with me, I have your solution."
She followed him into a door on the adjacent building. They were now in a white room with 2 tables. On one table laid a bunch of tablets that seemed to show security footage. The other table had a bunch of bottles of different colored liquids, all tabled with a number. Now she was very curious. He picked up one of the tablets and started flipping though cameras.
"You know what is more attractive than any human? A human plus more attractive features," he said.
"What do you mean?" she queried.
"I mean, altering humans to look different. Be unique. Be noticed. This is accomplished by simply adding parts from other animals. You could be a human cat, or a mermaid, or anything you want."
    "And I would be noticed?"
"Yes. We have done extensive tests and we have had many successes. In terms of what we have that will make you more attractive, and are proven to have better results, would be a mermaid."
"A mermaid? You can make me a mermaid?"
"Yes. We have several volunteers that come in for the day to test our products, stay for the day while we monitor their progress, and then we turn them back to normal and let them leave. Here is footage of today's mermaid subject," he said giving her the tablet.
She took it and saw a girl with long, curly red hair and a green mermaid tail. She was amazed. "You can actually do that!?"
"Yes," he said grabbing one of the bottles. "Just drink this when you are ready."
"How can I go back to being human?"
"It will wear off over time, depending on how much you drink. Just let me know what the results are. This is a great way for us to finally test out on the field."
"Wow! Thank you!" She took the bottle from him. It was just like an average water bottle, except that the label just said '016' and had a green liquid in it.
"Oh, by the way, that dress looks great on you. You should wear it when you decide to use it."
    "Thanks, I think I will."

At the beach party, she did not pack sunblock and she did not bring a bathing suit. All she brought was the red dress she was wearing and the bottle. She rushed into a stall in the women's restroom. She got the bottle out. There were no instructions on it. She could remember that he said that the more you drink the longer it would last, but how much was how long? She took a couple sips. Nothing happened. Maybe she did not drink enough. She drank more. Still, she saw no changes. She started to drink more and more with no results to show for it until there was nothing left to drink. She lifted up her dress to see if she was missing something. She looked in the mirror for any changes. Nothing. Then, she noticed a change. Her hair was slowly turning red! She was excited! She watched for 5 whole minutes as her hair faded to red and curled. Then she realized that she better get to a good spot before she can't walk anymore. She ran out of the restroom and went to a spot relatively close to the water while as close to the party as she could. She was so excited! She looked to see if any more changes have been made. She found gills on her neck! This was going so well! Things really started to go after that. Her legs merged together into one big leg over the course of a minute. She moved her merged limb up and down, seeing if anyone would spot it. Her feet turned into a fin on the end of this limb. She was starting to get disappointed. It was going so much slower than she thought it would. Things started to speed up as she found that her leg bones were now tail bones, thus giving her a fully functional tail. Scales started to grow out of her tail. She was a mermaid! She got into pose, like what she saw off TV when someone was trying to look good. Some people looked over, but they pointed and laughed because they assumed it was fake. She felt so ashamed. She looked down at her tail and tried not to cry. She looked back up and saw that everyone's jaws were wide open. Why did this change so suddenly? She put her hand out to move herself, and she saw that her had was webbed and covered in scales. In fact, her whole body seemed to be covered in scales. She felt around to find any more differences. Her ears were webbed too, like those of mer-people in movies. She rejoiced. She was finally the center of attention. Everyone started to talk to her, asking how she did it. She was the best at swimming, too. Problem was, she did not bring a bikini or any kind of bathing suit because she planned to wear the dress, so when she swam, the heavy dress got heavy when wet and annoyed her. Someone did bring a spare bikini and was gracious to lend it. She started crawling towards the restroom to put it on. Someone offered to carry her, but she denied because she wanted to get used to it and experience it while she could. She had no idea how long this would last. She found a quicker way than simply crawling by sliding along the ground, pulling with her arms and moving her tail like a snake. She ended up with a lot of sand in her dress, but it was fun. She got into a stall and tried to sit herself on the toilet as a seat and did so with ease. She then took off the dress and put the bikini top on. It was a solid red top. She tried to haul the dress while slithering out and found it to be very inefficient. She called out for someone to carry her and was answered by a group of 2 girls who helped move her to the water and her dress to her car. She started racing people and winning. She was able to see clearly and hear well under water, so she experienced the ocean like never before. She felt like she was home.

Gradient-turned-hardsoft-shading comish for OrthrusToad of FA of his gorgeous dragon again, Orthraus!

Phew, I love how this guy turned out! I took a softer approach to the shading just for the sake of the details and my own sanity, and I love how it turned out! The details are wicked, man. I love how his muscles just pop!

AND READ THIS NOW. Don't say anything about the 'feathers' because they're not feathers! They're crystals! I've drawn this guy before! I just VERY roughly layer the crystals like feathers! And if his anatomy is weird, that's because he's intentionally longer and more serpent-like than a normal anthro, by the commissioner's request!

Again...THEY'RE NOT FEATHERS. THEY'RE CRYSTALS. Go look at my actual feathered wings - these look nothing like those because they're NOT feathers!

Wallah.

Commissions are open~

Thanks again Orth! Hope ya like!
