Seasons of KnowledgeSeasons of Knowledge
Like the layering of fresh snow on a grass plain in winter
The binding of each book is smooth and soft
If ye were to run ye hand upon the covering
Than ye would understand the magic that it holds
Fresh autumn leaves resting in crisp piles
Describes the feeling of the pages that take me miles
Into the pages I dive and
Rest in the words of the stories I love
Scents richer than spring rain
Mirror stories of love, happiness and pain
Bathe in the knowledge of others, I do
And pretend that what I read is in fact true
A summer breeze wafts through the Tree of Knowledge
Below it ye shall find me feasting on its fruit
Never again shall I go hungry since
I have been introduced to the magic of books.

I am running as fast as I can through the forest. I threw my shoes off because my heels were slowing me down, my dress is ripped beyond repair and covered in dirt. My hair, which was once in perfect condition, is now a tangled mess sticking to my damp body and getting in my eyes. I have cuts and bruises all over my body but I keep running, I know I have to get to the end.
I have no other option, I have to get there. I think,
I have to save him before it's too late.
I could feel the forest encouraging me on, sending me strength, pushing me forward. Run, run, it whispers, just a little more, run. I have to get to Vince before Axel does or else I know Axel will kill him, and I can't let that happen. I push myself even further nearly stumbling as I do.
I finally get to the field and I see Vince's face, I'm about to run into Vince's arms when something tackles me to the ground. I hit the ground hard and barely got to gasp for air before I feel the full weight of my attacker on me. M

I awake to the annoying beeping of my alarm clock. I raise my hand and hit the snooze button and dent in my alarm clock that I had made. I pull the cover off my face and lift my head to see the time. Five thirty a.m. flashing in bright red. I turn over to look up at the ceiling, wishing I don't have to do this. Groaning I get up, and walk across my room to my dresser to grab something to wear. After finally deciding on a navy shirt and black shorts, I walk down the hall to the bathroom, stopping to check in on Bonnie and Grace.
Like normal, Bonnie is sound asleep in her light blue bed with her fluffy stuffed bunny right next to her. She is fifteen now but no matter how old she is she still keeps that little bunny with her as a reminder of happier times. I couldn't really blame her though, at least she has something from happy times, I don't even have memories of happy times. I smile at my little sister quietly closing the door to let her sleep.
Also like normal Gr

Caleb was still grilling me when he pulled into my driveway. He had spent about five minutes yelling at me about how I messed up his paint job, and if I screwed up his brakes how he’d kill me and blah blah blah. I faded in and out of the conversation with the memory of that smell, it was so damn fresh and close that when it just stopped, ugh!
“Caleb?” I ask in the middle of Caleb’s speech.
“And another thing…” Caleb goes on without hearing me.
“Caleb?” I ask a little louder.
“I spent two hundred bucks on that paint…”
“Caleb will you stop pmsing and listen to me!” I shout at him. He stops talking and turns to look at me and see that I actually have something to say and decides to shut up. “Ok thank you, look I’m sorry that I almost made you hit a tree and chipped your paint, but I…I had to follow that smell, it was like… calling me.”

Of all of the dreams I've had in my whole life, this one takes the prize.
It's midnight, a full moon is hidden slightly behind a cloud, and I'm standing in the middle of a small field wearing a long, light purple strapless dress and a curved neckline. My long black hair is loose tumbling down my back and silver in my hair is shiny in the moonlight. The field contains nothing but moon-flowers, and when the moon's silver rays hit them, they come alive. The flowers bloom shooting up sparkles of gold that fill the air, lighting up the whole field. I stand wonder-struck by the beauty of it all that I don't notice that there is someone watching from the edge of the field till I hear the snapping of a stick. I turn, eyes narrow, claws and fangs out, in my fighting stance, ready for a fight as the golden sparks light the rest of the field. "Who's there?" I bark "Show yourself!" The figure gives a soft, amused laugh mocking me. "I mean it. Come out now

I stood on top of a tree branch watching her as entered; she had followed my scent here just like I planned. She looks just as beautiful as always, her rich caramel skin clear and smooth, her long black hair flows down her back and her silver strikes shine beautify in the low sun rays, her green eyes are so bright I could see them from here.
“Is that her?” a sweet voice asks.
I turn and see Alexandra standing lightly on the branch next to me. She is wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black t shirt, and black converse which stand out against her ghostly pale skin. Her dark red hair is hanging loosely around her waist and her bright gray eyes are watching Kamaila down below. “Yeah, that’s her” I say watching her with pure adornment.
“Wow, I thought I’d never see her.” she says as she sits down on the branch watching her with fascination. “She’s beautiful.”
“Yeah, she is.”

After about fifteen more rounds, I had won them all but Caleb got close on the ninth try, we make it back to our starting spot and the sun was starting to come over the mountains "Uh, damn. I got to get home to change for school." I say grabbing my jacket looking down at my dirt covered clothes.
"Yeah, me too." Caleb grabs his shades and starts toward the car.
"You know you did pretty well back there. I think soon enough you'll be ready to take on one of the pups." I say teasing as I step over a tree root.
"Ha ha ha, you are so funny. You know you willn't be laughing when I finally bet you." Caleb says sarcastically as he crushes a twig under his foot.
"Don't you mean if you bet me?" I correct. I laugh when Caleb glares at me. "No but seriously, you're getting better soon you'll be able to fight without the worrying about your chest wound."

At the end of the day I ran out the back of the school to get to Carly’s car to try and avoid seeing Axel. I sniffed for his scent and as expected I caught the smell of amber, cinnamon and autumn. I snared and looked up to see his car waiting for me in the corner of the parking lot. I could feel Axel’s eyes on me even from the distance between us and I drifted into the crowd of students and made a straight dash to Carly’s car. She was at her car leaning against the waiting for Jake to come to try and talk to him again. “Hey Carly, can we leave? I have to get home early today.”
Carly gave me her really-face “Seriously Kam? I have to talk to Jake to keep him interested.” She wined looking to see if he was coming.

Lala ran, weaving in and out of the forest trees with far too much elegance. Her fingertips brushed against their trunks lightly as a liquid laugh slipped past her thin, pink lips. Her long, tangled brown hair bellowed behind her like a curtain blowing in the wind. Her clothes clung to her in the rain, showing off her voluptuous curves as she stopped and stood, laughing in the rain while she touched her face and neck, and I watched as the droplets of rain water cascaded down her bare neck to the crevasses of her breasts.
The dark clouds above had given an eerie glow to her already beautiful green eyes, and I simply smiled from atop my tree branch and continued to flick pieces of bark off the limbs. Lighting cracked across the sky, illuminating everything in the forest.

He chuckled again, and towed me to the back of the house. "Come on, follow me. Doors out back." "What's wrong with the front door?" "There's kind of a gaping hole on the other side. And I highly doubt that you have the reflexes to jump the hole. Besides, it's a good security system if anyone finds out a pack of werewolves live here." "OH MY GOD!"
I jumped at the sound of my aunt's voice. She had woken me out of a weird, but interesting dream. Sam had turned out to be a werewolf, and we had 'done it' while he was in his wolf form. Then he took me out hunting with him. Then we came back and basically slept together. I opened my eyes and saw what had her in hysterics. I was resting with my head and hand on Sam's chest. One of his arm was wrapped around me and the other behind his head.
Maybe it wasn't a dream.
I was still in my under clothes and Sam barely had anything on. His torn shorts and boxers (he's a boxer guy?) barely covered his 'little friend'. To any overactive teen or experienced adult it look like I had just lost my virginity to Sam. Even though I been lost that, but that's a story for another day. I nudged Sam awake.
"Sam? Sammy get up."
"Huh? Amy? What (yawn) what's up?"
"Look who's in the doorway." He obeyed me and I felt his body stiffen under me.
"Hey Ms. Cryor."

I stamp down the underbrush with my boot. The dry leaves and dead plants snap sharply, like firecrackers. The moon, full, shines through the overhanging branches of the trees. Notes of the silvery light shone like pillars of silvery mist stretching into the sky. The trees, now dark and foreboding in the night, loom over as if looking down on me. My footsteps seem explosive in the dead silence, unbroken except by the sound of small creatures dashing through the grass. I feel, as if I am being watched by the shadows themselves. The sensation seems to increase, like a gentle pressure at the back of my head. I quickly whirl around to face.....nothing. Only the dark trees and darker shadows. I think I see moving figure, in the swirling darkness, seeming to be cloaked in the very dark of night. I hesitate, wondering if it is paranoia from my fear filled mind or an evil figure darker than night itself. The fear takes over, overloading my senses and controlling my limbs.
