The last ten days had passed rather smoothly, with no fights or teasing between Kaiquin and Tarri. In fact, Arris swore he heard them having an actual, civil conversation about the upcoming festival.
"So, what exactly are you planning to do for the festival, anyway?" Arris asked during lunch, watching as Tarri happily downed three sandwiches. Tarri shrugged, accepting Arris' proffered leftovers. "It's gonna be some kind of special theme, right? Like a medieval setting or something? I'll probably be sewing outfits or doing alterations again."
