Missing Pieces.I am a missing piece. Something that someone needs.
But at the same time, I feel so incomplete.
I’ve wandered way too far, wondered for far too long
Am I a missing piece? Or a piece that won’t belong?
Is it possible I’m damaged and not missing at all?
That I’m just as dysfunctional as everybody else?
Pretending to be perfect never softened a single fall.
But neither did admitting that you’re broken and flawed.
A broken missing piece. Is that all I’m meant to be?
There is no master plan that includes the likes of me.
Being all alone, it’s a hurt that will not cease.
A hundred thousand years from now
I’ll still be

Writer's Block Tick TockA tutorial of sorts,Writer's Block Tick Tock4 months ago in Writing More Like This
a type of last resort,
in the language of quips and retorts.
An opinion if I may,
if you formerly had anything brilliant to say,
it then dried up like the well from The Grudge,
don't be too harsh on yourself,
nor too quick to judge,
don't conclude you run on empty,
that's a trip to the cemetery.
There is plenty of material to choose from,
both here and before,
just know that reality for starters,
be assured of that to your core.
There is some reason,
which is neither here nor there,
that your imagination isn't taking you anywhere.
Just step away from the console,
go live life hard for a while,
guaranteed upon arrival back
you'll step in a pile.
Avid Writer's Meme1.What’s your favourite genre of writing?Avid Writer's Meme5 months ago in Literature Templates More Like This
I have such a diverse interest in genres so I tend to go from one genre to the next and sometimes I do combine them. I have several genres that I do enjoy writing about, which is science fiction, romance/love, Greek Mythology, drama, family and a few others. I also write poems, original fiction and fan fiction. All of which are very fun and interesting in my opinion.
2. How often do you get writer’s block?
Hmm, this is somewhat of a hard question to be honest with you. I remember a few years ago I had the most awful time experiencing writer's block. I couldn't write anything - in fact I struggled to write anything. That put a lot of strain on me as a writer since I was working on a few stories at the time and I didn't know to cope basically.
As of right now I do suffer from writer's block from time to time. Well, it's another form really. It's like I have plenty of ideas sometimes and I don't know how to write them down in a story.
