Dollhouse size Easter breads made from this fantastic tutorial:

Also my first attempt at eggs and braided bread. It sounds silly but I could not braid! I'd get a section in, then over think it, and then forget how to do it. XD

I experimented with coloring this time using a very soft brush. While it took longer for the color to appear, the end result looks a lot nicer and more blended. It also made the highlights pop a bit more.

These will be making their way to the miniature show first and then on to Etsy after. :) I plan on making a whole Easter themed room box.

1:12 Dollhouse scale Easter baskets.

I'm slowly starting to upload what was leftover from my show onto my Etsy and onto here since a lot of it didn't get photographed. Starting with more Easter items first.

Four baskets in two different styles. They have white and dark chocolate bunnies, bunny and regular peeps (they're actually squishable!), Easter eggs, little Cadbury chocolate eggs, and jellybeans. They'll be up on my Etsy in the next couple of days.

The larger baskets may be a tiny bit too big, but I've been told otherwise by the people in my miniature club. I personally prefer the smaller ones. :P

Managed to get these up on Etsy - find them here: [link]

1:12 Scale dollhouse breads made from polymer clay.

I've decided to go back and work on my breads. Changed the way I shade/color them as well as how I detail them. I really like how they're turning out now. :)

Hope I'm not spamming you all with all these mini foods. Once the show is over it'll die down quite a bit. c:

1:12 Dollhouse scale strawberries and basket, made from polymer clay.

The last of the fruits for my show. I sat down for an hour last night and played around with different techniques until they looked as close to real as I could get them. They're not the best, but they're a lot better than they were before. :)

I decided to try something I haven't before - 1:12 scale chocolates. c: And there's no better time than now because Valentine's Day is coming up!

There are: 5 pieces of chocolates with tiny almond slivers, 3 chocolate roses, and 5 tiny chocolate hearts with pink detailing.

The tray with the chocolates is for sale in my Etsy store: [link]

1:12 Dollhouse scale red and green grapes in bunches and little clusters made from polymer clay.

I have finally improved on my grapes and I am really pleased with how they look, even though I need to tweak colors a bit. c:

First set of produce items is slowly being finished! Expect fruits and veggies for the next few days.

Dollhouse size Easter nests with butterscotch and Cadbury chocolate eggs made from polymer clay.

These are pretty much a staple each year at our Easter lunch/dinner. I only like them because of the chocolate eggs on top. :P

1:48 Dollhouse Scale bread made from polymer clay.

So I was aiming for 1:24 scale and somehow managed to go a scale under. I knew they seemed really small for 1:24 and I was right when I finally found a printable doll scale sheet. At least now I know I can make 1:48 foods! These are a tiny bit on the large side but they still fit and don't look too out of place with a 1:48 doll.

Yes, it is a lot harder than 1:12 scale - especially if your clay has the consistency of chewed bubble gum when you get it warmed up. >.>

Going to try for 1:24 scale items today.

Cake with chocolate frosting, sliced almonds, and chocolate rose decoration.

Cake and all decorations are made from polymer clay, the stand is made using findings found on clearance at Michaels and a ceramic plate.

I had another piece I wanted to upload, but my computer has decided it doesn't want to read my SD card. >.>
