Pencil on Paper

I enjoyed drawing this piece I drew it with the intention of representing the fragile relationship between man and nature and even man and god. felt allot more of the symbolism was quite a coincidence after the drawing.

"The praying mantis is the oldest symbol of God: the African Bushman’s manifestation of God come to Earth"

“the I of me, and the I of the creature became one and we rested on the breath of God.”

Drawing of my girlfriend throwing her hair back out of the water to form a Fibonacci spiral

This drawing taught me allot about patience. It took around 280 intense hours over 5 months

After this drawing a slight obsession with the Fibonacci spiral was awakened.

I hope you enjoy it...

"Quantify"

Pencil on paper

I loved doing this drawing. I have a developed a love for sacred geometry and I feel this is the first of my works to completely acknowledge that. There are many ways to interpret the piece. I hope you find something you like in it.
