EnglandxReader: The LetterEngland x Reader
'Meet me after school. Backstage. -Secret Admirer'
That was all the note said.
Now, when I had dreamed of getting a letter on Valentine's day, I had imagined it to be filled with kind words and beautiful expressions.
Not vague instructions.
I sighed and shoved the note in my bag then grabbed my books and shut my locker. Well, at least I had the whole day to figure out who had sent it. The thing was, I already had a few ideas.
FIRST PERIOD: ALGEBRA
I rushed in just as the bell rang and scooted into my seat next to one of my suspects, Alfred F. Jones. I know he had a thing for me at one point, but I really doubted that he was the sender. It would have been bigger and more outgoing if it was from him.
"Good Morning Al."
"Mornin' to you too, babe." I sighed and took out the homework

Why Arthur had even accepted the invitation to Alfred’s party was beyond him.
The music was deafeningly loud, his head pounded like it was being hit repeatedly by a sledgehammer, and currently he was being crushed between two fairly burly men as he tried to make his way off the dance floor.
He squirmed between them, trying to push them off, only to have them bump back with the beat of the offensively explicit music.
Instantly, he lost his footing and tumbled forward, hitting the floor roughly. He scrambled to get back up, dashing for an escape from the madness.
He wanted to leave. Now. And nothing was going to stop him. . .
Except knocking into someone considerably forcefully.
He was so focused on getting out that he wasn’t really paying attention, and when he turned the corner you collided, spilling soda everywhere and bumping heads violently.
Arthur palmed his forehead in pain, looking down at his clothes. His once white button-up shirt now

"Hello, Miss (Last Name)," he greeted as he approached her. Unfortunately for him, they were still on formal terms.
(Name) clutched her notebook close to her and smiled. "Hi, Mister Kirkland. How are you?"
"I'm alright, thank you for asking. I'm just looking for a good book. And I'm guessing that you're looking for one too?"
She laughed a bit before trying to reach up to get one, barely touching the book's spine. "Yes, I am."
Arthur noticed her difficulty since she was shorter than him and the shelf. Since he was such a gentleman, he reached up with little efforts and got the book for her. "Is this the one?"
(Name) nodded and thanked him in return. He noticed she wasn't giving any eye contact and there was a slight tint of pink on her cheeks, which brought him to look
EnglandxReader - You're my comfort.Friendship and love should be terms away from each other, like, if you actually are best friends with someone then you can't love them romantically and if you are in a relationship with someone you can't love them in a friendly way. Is that so? That's not possible, I believe. Since Arthur and _____ were both at the same time. Sure, Arthur only acted as a friend when they were under the eyes of the French and American guys who hanged out with both of them -though, mostly Arthur-. Stand In the Rain (EnglandXReader)You sprinted through the deserted streets, the ominous clouds promising rain matching your dark, unpredictable mood. Your sneakers pounded the pavement, the sound and the sensation overpowering any other thoughts that could cloud your mind. You felt like nothing could catch you, but as the saying goes, you can’t run away from your problems.Stand In the Rain (EnglandXReader)2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
You paused in the middle of the road, panting heavily, hands on your knees. The first few drops of rain tainted the even tone of the asphalt, and slowly the memories came back to you, each one adding new weight to your soul.
Practically tearing into your jean pocket, you unwound your iPod and jammed the earbuds in, randomly selecting a song without really looking at the title. You just wanted to forget, to get away, anything. But the first hauntingly beautiful notes did anything but that. The rain fell faster.
She never slows down.
You never did. With everything that had happened, slowing down simply wasn’t an option anymore.

You shivered as you walked down the cold streets of your town. Gosh, you hated it when it was this cold. You understood that it would be cold today, but not in the negatives!!
You hugged your coat closer to you and sighed, looking at how your breath became visible in the cold, frosty air. You wished that you have brought your scarf with you, but almost being late for meeting with your friend Alfred, you have forgot to put it on. So there you were now, walking back from his house, in the freezing weather.
‘Why did I even go to his house anyways…?’
You flipped through the channels on your TV. Again, there was nothing interesting on, as usual. You sighed and leaned your head back and stared up at the ceiling. The background of the TV show seemed like it was all in a totally different language to you. You just wished that something interesting would happen and take you away from this boredom.

He blushed. Was that really today?! "And I thought I told you don't bother." He said, not trying to be rude but doing so anyway. "I told you I don't do much for this holiday…"
You looked around his house. Boy, he wasn't kidding! You saw no sign of any kind of Christmas decorations. It was as if the holiday was non-existent in his house.
"You should be grateful I came!" You scolded. "Your house is so gloomy! Where are your decorations?"
Apparently, the words "I don't do much for this holiday" weren't registering in your head. "I haven't put them up, obviously."

This day hadn’t sucked.
Frankly, you were stunned.
Sure, you had seen a little PDA, but surprisingly not much. And all of your friends had gone out of their way to make you little gifts. They even knew you didn’t celebrate, and wouldn’t expect anything in return.
It was sweet.
But still, the day made you think. It made you think about a lot of different little things that made you both want to laugh, and cry.
The emotions you were feeling right now were probably making you extremely unstable. Yet you felt extremely calm.
Even so, you found yourself out late at night, going to try something new. It was something you had been wondering about for a while, and were finally going to take a crack at.
Now you sat, atop this building, overlooking the river. Your legs dangled over the edge, but you knew you wouldn’t fall. Being pretty far back, your lower legs were practically against the wall.

No meetings, no childish fights with your Allies, no earth shattering migranes. Just silence, the morning newspaper, and a bowl of lucky charms.
Smiling, you took a sip of coffee. Oh yes, Sundays truely were the best day of the week. Nothing but golden silence echoed through the kitchen, and that was just how you liked it. That silence was soon broken, however, when your front door was violently thrown open and England stumbled into the kitchen.
You set down the newspaper and examined the Brit; judging by his flushed face and the way he kept swaying back and forth, you came to the conclusion that he was drunk on his ass. Why anyone would want to drink this early in the morning, you didn't really know; I mean, beer didn't exactly pair well with cereal.
