Chapter 99 - Velocity
"Morality, like velocity, is relative. The determination of it depends on what the objects around you are doing. All one can do is measure one's position in relation to them; never can one measure one's velocity or morality in terms of absolutes."

Toph sniffed the warm vapors, taking in the grassy scent. She clutched her tired fingers around the cup, savoring the heat the seeped through her calloused skin.
"Thanks," she breathed out, her eyelids having slid closed.
"You're welcome," Zuko replied, pouring his own cup. He paused, caught off guard by this brief moment of serenity in Toph's face. Her eyes closed, a peacefully neutral expression about her...Her hair was a complete mess, of course, and her outfit was...somewhat lacking in pizazz, but in that short-lived moment, Zuko found himself acknowledging that despite Toph's best efforts, she was growing into a fine young woman. It was magical, for both of them.
Korra and Asami were on vacation in the spirit world. After the threat of Kuvira, they were entitled for a well-earned rest. Korra knew her friend needed that the most. After the loss of her father, she wanted to make her feel good in any way possible.
Today, on this beautiful morning, they were taking a stroll on rolling hills crowned with trees of multicolored leaves—some were red, others were yellow, some blue, from all of the colors of the rainbow. Asami was beyond impressed and amazed by it. It was a treasure to see her as such for the Avatar.
The spiritual creatures of all sort welcomed them with warming fondness. Korra introduced them to Asami. This one looked like a child tasting candy for the first time. She was happy. Happiness embedded onto her friend’s face. And that happiness infected her.
Later that day, she took her to a swim as they both explored the oceanic depths that the spirit world had to offer. S

"Four, three, two, one." She sends a disk flying at me, which I easily dodge. I send two in response, both of which nearly hit her. I laugh as she sends me a dirty look and two more disks. I easily maneuver around the first and throw my own disk to the other.
"You're still too flat-footed. Remember, light on your feet." I yell out to her. She gives me a curt nod and continues to try and hit me. I try to avoid throwing anything back at her to give her a chance, but that quickly loses its luster.
"You're not even trying!" she yells aggravated at me. "Come on, Bolin!" a clay disk wizzes past my head and she gives me a devious smirk. I laugh at her determination.

Why Korra and Asami (Korrasami) is Canon. This week, audiences watched the end of an era with two great television shows coming to a close. The Colbert Report ended its 9 year run and on top of that, The Nickelodeon series “Legend of Korra” came to an end with its 2 part finale. It was a great run for both shows, but alas, they are gone. However, whereas Stephen Colbert ended his show on fun easy going last hurrah, “Legend of Korra” ended on a much more intense note that has fans very split. Why Korra and Asami (Korrasami) is Canon.5 months ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
Now before we discuss this, bare this in mind. Is “Legend of Korra” better than “Avatar: The Last Airbender”? No. Not at all. However this is largely due to how Nickelodeon handled the show. They originally only wanted a short miniseries to continue the Avatar saga. Then, it became a critical hit. So they green lit another season forcing the creators to undo and redo character and story elements they did in the first season. Thus we got season two which, though had a lot of really stellar mom

She was still awake, but just barely. He could see her deep blue eyes were only open halfway or less, but he expected nothing more. She'd gone out in the middle of the night a few days ago on a walk all alone because she needed to think and she hadn't brought her coat or any kind of weather protective clothing with her. It was no surprise that she'd gotten sick, especially with the way the temperature had been dropping and rising so oddly lately. One day it was freezing even without snow and the next day it was scorching hot. There wasn't much they could do about it except try to dress appropriately for the weather. But of course, with how stubborn Korra was, she refused to admit that even the A

A/N: It's been a big month for SRU - lots of big chapters lately that focus on themes that have been building for a long time. The first issue of The Promise, and some leaks of Legend of Korra (which you can be sure have played their part in inspiring this chapter. There's been a lot of great new SRU artwork as well, and I've also received a lot of support of all kinds, a bunch of you guys crawling out of the wordwork to say 'hi' and leave some feedback, and I've been the recipient of much generosity from some of you superfans, for which I am quite grateful. Thank you so much - you guys know who you are and are humble about it, too. I'm extremely grateful.
I put together a video blog analyzing the main characters I write about within the series. I plan on doing a Part 2 that is SRU focused later. Feel free to e-mail any questions to D3stiny(dot)Sm4shergmail(dot)com and if I get enough questions I'd be happy to do a Q&A vlog for you guys. http:/www(dot)youtube(dot)com

She accepted one can from him, he sat down next to her, and the two cracked the cans open. They tapped the cans together in toast and let the bitter fluid pour down their hatches.

Still fairly disorientated, he halfheartedly looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings. His vision still blurred, he turned his head and managed to make out three blobs huddling together on the other side of the room. Their voices sounded familiar, but he couldn’t pinpoint who they belonged to, or make out what they were saying. The only words he managed to pick out were “Hide”, “Wait”, “Tell”, and “Happy”. Everything else was gibberish.
As his vision slowly came into focus, one of the not-so-blobby blobs looked over at him. Their conversation suddenly halted.

As in the past, I'm obviously taking artistic liberation with characters to suit the purposes of a modern-day setting in which they all can co-exist. With that in mind, some more side-characters will show up that have some kind of role to play in what I have planned.
