Yes this is me, well for those who don't know how I look. It's first December, so it's time to open first window on advent calendar. And this year we have the best one, with Optimus and Megs is hyped as I am XD
These photos were taken at the 8th annual Carolina Games Summit (that I'm usually the event photographer for, but decided to be an attendee for this year for cosplay completion reasons.) This shoot alone was fun enough to attend the convention for. There were three guys that all shared the shoot (I've yet to see the work of the other two), and were the most fun and incredibly hilarious people to work with I was so blown away with how Jayce's photos came out, I had to ask to share them, and I'm really glad he allowed me to. He really knows how to set a mood. I wish I was able to do some knife-swinging shots, but due to the nerve damage in my right arm caused by the helm that made it all limp and useless, I wasn't able to lift it Hopefully I'll be able to see these guys again soon without injury and get some slicing action.
This is My friend and i Dressed up as Scyther and Magmar (I'm the scyther!). We checked the Interwebs and found that no one had done a Science Fiction Gijinka of the two, so we decided to give it a try.
Our Friend who we met on the day Owen Watkin, took this glorious Photo. This photo pretty much made us popular on the day. Owen asked for our photo, and i opened my wings for him! Everyone was shocked the wings opened and closed. it was glorious!
My Dad asked me to go into the competition because he helped me make the wings. This is us in the Competition (Thanks Jocelyn for the Filming!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx3TQE…
We won Standard Skit! We were pretty happy considering it was our first Comp entry.
My Costume is Made from Wonderflex and Friendly Plastic. Magmar is made out of Yoga Matts and Wonderflex.
The wings were a Pully system (if anyone is interested... FISHING LINE FTW!)
