. Mustache the Food for Men's Health Since it's Movember, and many issues of health are about food, how about we create a snack station with the theme of mustache?
We know it’s traditional for Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to celebrate their awareness and fundraising efforts by throwing a Movember party at the end of the month. --- [link] Since I am not able to join the party with the Mo Bros and Sistas, I decided to make a miniature version of the party setting to celebrate the month ☺
On the table are many different pastry and dessert with mustache and eyeglasses to symbolize the signature of men. Food include mustache cakes, cookies, croissant and Mont Blanc. All food items are handmade by me with air dry clay and paper.
I hope you like it like I enjoyed making it Please double click the photo for full view
My entry for the Movember contest - kind of last minute ^^ Made with a selfmade block of vegan chocolate and formed by hand with a knife and fork heated with a candle and smoothed the surface with a burning wooden skewer
I am an artist of polymer clay, working with this material since March 2010, and I specialize in creating characters of animated films, especially pixar and tim burton. If you want to see my work, click on my nick name!
These two characters were modeled with polymer clay, exactly, the STAEDTLER Fimo. Chashire cat on the left has been modeled in March 2010, while the right is this year.
This be my cake for the contest. ^_^ It has two tiers, and I rolled the fondant to match the colors of the website. Fella's head is at the top, and there are nine emotes, one for each year of DeviantART. They are, from top to bottom(right panel):
I put the DA logo at the bottom of the cake. I wanted to write 'Happy Birthday' or something on it but didn't want it to ruin the cake or be too much, and I didn't want it too cliche.
I'm not thrilled with the lighting, but it was overcast and I haven't had the time to get my lightbox up yet. But I got struck by inspiration yesterday and I wanted to get it done before I left for San Jose. I love work.
Polymer clay with acrylic paint detail, polycrylic gloss to protect it and make it shiny.
Hey everyone; my THIRD submission is COMPLETE! Jumping from the arcade back into home consoles yet again, this time I'm hitting the one that started it all, DeviantART style!
Putting a great spin on the classic Super Mario-esque style, and a twist on the good 'ole deviantART logo, this is my very first attempt at Fella, MGleason style! And what a way to attempt him, totally 8-Bit Retro!
If you like it, please tap the "I'd Wear This" button; if you love it, favorite it, and if you can't live without it, then let's break records on it's votes and push it to the top so we ALL can wear one!
