Okay, so who else can't wait for tomorrow's finale?

Rewatched the first 5 episodes of TLA and ugh... I mean... ugh! I love it. Everything you watch has to be watched twice, I noticed so many things this time and I even paid more attention to the soundtrack which is freakin' awesome.
And yes, it has a background, by moi!

The fabulous Asami Sato. Haters can go jump in a lake, and here's why: 1) No matter how long she's been fighting or hiding in hobo-land with Team Avatar, her hair is always perfectly fabulous; 2) She made her entrance on the show by hitting Mako with her fabulous moped; 3) She's basically a fabulous steampunk ninja; 4) And, more seriously, because she started out as the girl who had everything but by the end of the season, had lost it all because she made the tough choice to fight for what she believed to be right. And how did she react to it all? Is she hurt by it? Of course. Is she bitter? Maybe a little. Did she turn into a villain and join the Equalists like everyone said she would? Absolutely not! Asami is a hero. Oh, and did I mention she's fabulous?

I got really lazy by the end of this, especially with the zappy-ness and the lighting, so if there's something that makes you go "EW GROSS, PUNKER-ROCKER WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??" then let me know. If I ever do lightning like this again, I'll do a better job, I promise. Comments and constructive advice are much appreciated, as always.

This was partly inspired by some Thirty Seconds to Mars songs:

Yeah....I just had to draw Korra again, cause she's pretty freakin epic, and she's about to kick some serious Chi Blocker butt. I tried a completely new method of painting this, which ended up taking a billion years so I got tired of working on it, and as a result it's still excessively rough. But hopefully it looks at least half-way decent, and hopefully the awful three-point perspective is not completely horrid. Maybe I'll clean it up later....but probably not, haha. As always, comments and constructive feedback are much appreciated!

After 3 different tries, this is the one I came up with. Booyah!!

Asami from "Legend of Korra" was one of my favorite characters. She was moral, righteous, and caring to everyone and uh....I dunno....LOYAL! Plus she ISN'T that typical damsel in distress character, which is something i like in female characters. As the internet unofficially declared her, she's like the new Batman lol. XD

Anyway, it's been about 3 months since my last completed Korra fanart, "Spiritual State" and I've been having an itch to draw new fanart lately. I SERIOUSLY CANNOT WAIT FOR BOOK 2. It's hard to believe it's almost been a year and I look forward to having a reason to watch television on Saturday mornings!!!! I also want to start shedding some more light to the Korra Artshow that I and so many other Korra fans are going to be a part of! If you're in the California area, check it out!

It's finally finished! I hadn't expected this to take so long. I'm not really satisfied with the outcome though. It didn't came out as neat as the two previous pieces in the Legend of Korra supporting characters series :


I tried to play with the lighting once again, but I feel like really failed this time. Especially with the shading on her face. I know there are still so many mistakes in this piece, but I would really appreciate it if you would leave me a comment or fave it.

Thanks guys! I will be drawing Tenzin or Tarrlok up next. Who do you think I whould draw first?
