Korra had been fiddling with the metal for at least four hours straight. Crouching as she was, surely she had to be feeling some pain by now. Senna sighed, wishing her daughter would just come and sit at the table to finish her special project. But no, Korra had insisted on staying outside, even as it snowed, until she got it to look just right. After finding the piece of meteorite that morning while playing fetch with Naga, Korra had gasped in delight and immediately began to sculpt it with her metalbending. The only time she had moved was to grab some actual tools and a few colored stones from her bag in her room. Despite not having said a word about her activity to her parents, Senna and Tonraq had easily figured out what Korra was up to.
Korra scraped gingerly at the metal for several more minutes, exhaling heavily once she was finished and falling back into the snow behind her. A grin grew on her face, though she had clearly tired herself. She grasped the c

“Iroh, hi!” Korra let go of Asami’s hand to accept the old man’s hug. “It’s so good to see you! Of course I couldn’t pass up visiting you while we are on vacation.”
Iroh chuckled, pulling away to look at Korra with a twinkle in his eye. “A vacation to the spirit world? That certainly seems to be an odd destination, or have you already seen everything in the physical world?” He then noticed the beautiful young woman waiting patiently behind them. “Oh, how lovely, you brought a guest!” he offered a contagious smile.
“Ah, yes!” Korra turned to the side and reached out a hand. “Iroh, I’d like you to meet, Asami!”
Stepping forward to take Korra’s hand, Asami held out her other for Iroh to shake.

Hours later, Korra and Naga emerged from the Republic City Portal, the sun setting behind them, purple and reddish as it had looked at Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding several years prior. Stepping off of Naga, Korra turned and looked at the view fondly, pleased at how far things had come since that night.
A hand suddenly touched her shoulder, and Korra spun in shock, only to instantly relax into the touch when her eyes met Asami's. Korra placed her own hand on top of her girlfriend's, “Hey, babe.”
The taller woman moved in to kiss Korra, and the two melted into each other easily. Asami's lips were always so soft, so enticing. Tempted to deepen the kiss, Korra managed to hold back solely because some part of her brain remembered this was a public location.
As their lips parted, Asami sighed contently, taking hold of both of Korra's hands. Korra grinned at the gesture, “Hey, doing that right next to the Spirit Portal... Almost feels like our first of

After a few weeks of engaged bliss, the extended Krew got together for one of their semi-regular hang-outs. Usually, only Korra, Asami, Bolin, Mako, and significant others were present for these events, but with the betrothal, everyone from Tenzin to Suyin to Meelo had been invited to come. People were having a good time, and Korra and Asami were still getting a great many congratulatory words from their friends, even though everyone there had already expressed their joy over the engagement.
Asami fondly watched her fiancee wrestling with Mako and Kai, lips upturned as she thought about the life they were going to share. Kai airbent in Mako's face, causing him to fall onto his brother and Opal, who had been in jubilant conversation with Jinora, Wu, Wing and Wei. Jinora gave her boyfriend a withering stare, and he smiled sheepishly before trying to make an exit. The two started a mini-chase scene in Asami's company room, and Korra sat on the floor laughing heartil

“C'mon, Korra! It's not that big of a deal, is it? It's hardly even noticeable, anyway.” Asami continued to lightly rap on the door to the room she shared with her girlfriend. Which she was currently locked out of. And the lights weren't even peeking out from under the door. Asami could picture Korra curled up in their bed, hiding in a blanket with a killer pout dominating her features.
Korra wasn't answering her. Her pride must have been pretty bruised.
The engineer smiled awkwardly at the door as she tried to think of another way to get Korra to respond to her. Moving her hand away from the door, Asami touched her chin as she weighed the outcomes of various approaches to elicit some form of response from her distraught lover.
This was a bit ridiculous. Opal had merely teased Korra about being slightly shorter than Asami. But upon hearing someone mention the height difference, Kor

The kiss before they invaded the fire nation.
She had entirely forgotten about it.
Her first kiss.
With her best friend, who was also like a little brother to her.
The feeling in her stomach grew worse.
Is this what people are talking about when they say you get 'butterflies in your belly'? She had always imagined it totally different, more like happiness and joy instead of guilt and sickness.
Was it wrong to kiss him? Does he have a crush on me? Am I having a crush on him? Am I raising his hopes for something more than friendship?
So many questions and no answers.
Everyone was tugging into their dinner greedily since Katara entirely forgot to fix lunch for them. The mood was lightly and happy and Katara let herself get swept with the mood, trying to forget her worries.
She noticed Zuko looking at her sometimes during the meal in what looked like agony. She got annoyed and gave him a dirty look so he would look away.
If she only knew Zuko could feel her pain himself because

The world has been at peace lately, thank the spirits. But I have not. I have not had a moment's silence in weeks; my mind has been overwhelmed with strange, frenzied thoughts, most of which revolve around a single person.
It's her, that beautiful woman with eyes of peridot, hair of onyx, and dark, painted lips. They call her Asami Sato, but I would call her a goddess.
I have to admit, I despised the woman when we first met. Asami came into the group as a friend-turned-girlfriend-turned-friend of Mako's. Her presence drove me crazy with jealousy. I would lie awake at night, wondering how I could destroy her.
And now...now, I lie awake at night, wondering how I could get close to her.
I don't understand it. Mako was never able to evoke such a flurry of emotions in me. I've never felt so disoriented

Don't forget to fav this if you're a fan of the Movie.
With all the recent buzz about the trilogy still alive---Facebook page added new wordless Aang poster last week that's caused a lot of hype (and of course Frank Marshall declared that the trilogy is not cancelled) and a Spring-2012 article of M. Night talking about TLA2---I'm definitely happy for M. Night. But it would be unfair & unjust if M. Night has to design TLA2 as a sequel to the version of the movie that's NOT the Original True Version he made for us fans. (I'm talking about the version he filmed in 2009 before Paramount/Viacom forced him to do the all the reshooting in early 2010 just so the movie could be shorter for sake of cheaper 3D conversion)
Maybe there's still a chance to convince Paramount/Viacom to let M. Night release his original epic version of the movie before he starts making TLA2 (which is supposedly after he's done with "After Earth")....That way, M. Night can make

"Don't worry Korra," Bolin said, gently squeezing the young Avatar's shoulders. "There was nothing you could have done."
"I should have been there Bolin! I should have stopped it! I'm the Avatar for Spirits sake," Korra replied, spinning around to face him, anguish in her eyes.
"No. It was my fault. I should have been there, instead of being on a stupid date."
Feeling his eyes mist over, Bolin turned his head away from the Avatar's gaze and focussed it onto the floor. "I'm sorry you thought it was a waste of your time Avatar," He mumbled, scuffing his feet as he made his way away from her.

In retrospect, jumping into a puddle and splashing Asami was probably not the best idea that Korra had ever had. But there was just something so amusing about watching the normally elegant and composed woman splutter as she tried to wipe off all the water and mud.
“You splashed me!” Asami rounded on Korra and glared. A clump of mud slid out of her hair and down her face. “You actually splashed me!”
“Yes.” Korra nodded and smiled. “And I’m about to do it again.”
Now, Asami was absolutely drenched. Her eyes narrowed ominously, and she stomped forward, radiating raw menace on a scale that actually had the Avatar backing off. “Korra…”
“Uh…” Who knew that Asami could be so scary?
Korra barely had time to scream before Asami tackled her to the ground. Several days of rain had left the ground a mess of mud and

Mako shifted in his bed uncomfortably, kicking his thick blanket off a small portion of his lightly-clothed body, quickly regretting it afterwards as the cold, unforgiving air of the tundra nipped at his pale skin and filtered through the fabric of his clothing. He had been living in the South Pole for two months, and he still hadn't adjusted to the temperature of the place. At night, when the moon was high in the sky, he was usually at his coldest and so easily dressed in his thickest garments and retired to bed with his heavy blanket tucked around him. But as the night progressed into morning and the sun began to rise, his Firebending became more active and he heated up quickly, causing him to periodically dispose of different clothes each hour until he was left wearing virtually nothing, a sheet or something hanging loosely over his frame. But then he would wake in the morning and regret removing his clothes because despite how overheated he was during dawn, it was s

He'd just come from a rather taxing session of Pro-Bending training with his teammates, and as usual, his mood had turned sour from the moment he'd walked into the gym. It wasn't the fact they had to practice at the crack of dawn because they were rookies that bothered him, nor was it the pressure of the championships hanging over their heads.
No, it was the newest member of the Fire Ferrets that'd been getting under his skin lately, one Avatar Korra.
Now, there were several things that tweaked Mako's nerves, but this girl trumped them all. He'd never met someone quite like her before, so brash and hotheaded and in-your-face. In less than a month she'd managed to come barreling into his life and destroy nearly every ounce of normalcy she could find.
Today's practice had been one of the worst yet. After the fiasco with the Equalists and Bolin being captured, Mako had stepped up the intensity of their team workouts, both for the tournament

Just as there are four elements
Existing in harmony with one another
So too are there four states of poetry:
Air is the element of freedom
Exemplified by the use of free verse
It has no structure and no true shape
But allows us creative control
Through the use of air as a poetic medium
We allow our emotions a freedom to be
We allow them to soar upon worded wings
Gliding freely through the skies of literature
Water is the element of the changing flow
It can be hard as ice or as soft as snow.

Which grants us order and a structured mind
By pushing and pulling the words we may-

Painted upon a canvas of emotional lines
We create a sculpture of structured rhymes

Craggy on the whole, it resembles the concrete
Like the craggy mountains with peaks and valleys
It can take us down

"Toph!" The older girl pounced on her from behind; by now she was used to it. "Look at this!" Emi released her hold and stepped around her, apparently shaking a piece of paper for her to see.

They can't possibly have forgotten how he chased us around the world, making our life hell. How could they believe he suddenly changed his mind?
As Katara was still thinking about it, she wandered around her room to calm herself down when she suddenly noticed the vial for spirit water Pakku gave her on a small desk.
