Heeey!

So I've been playing chefville on FB lately (that's my intellectual side) (ahem) and so I've been wanting to make some restaurant dishes and started by making a bunch of plates.
Then I did those uber-cute brocolis. Boy I had so much fun I had to share it instantly on my instagram.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone :)

Today I'm celebrating the fact that a law on legalizing gay marriage is on the way in France. It still needs to be approved by the Senate, but we finally hit the right direction and that makes me happy.

Thus to celebrate Valentine's Day AND gay marriage I made a rainbow croquembouche, the rainbow representing the gay community and the croquembouche the wedding. (not the most original granted ^^')

Carved Rilakkuma on my pumpkin~ <3 Can't tell you how much I adore him ~ thought I would share this since Halloween is coming up. Let me tell you I'm quite proud of this, I usually only carve out the default jack 'o lantern face but this year I was determined to try something new ~
-Sorry for the quality, my camera produces alot of noise when taking dark photos :P or maybe I just suck lol.

Here's the deal:

This was the start of a major art piece where I wanted to paint on 3 large panels the rainbow colors and have androgynous looking people on each other, with a message for the audience talking about how you couldn't tell if these people were man or woman. My own portrait was going to be in the piece.

Sadly, my prof didn't think this was a good idea, so I painted over the entire thing. I did manage to take a few pics of the faces I painted before I covered them all.

Just wanted to share them with you.

ps. this face was taken from an image I found on DA--can't remember the artist sorry. If anyone knows who, please let me know. :)

**edit: I found the artist where this is from. ~Shace **

A re-upload and finally scanned of my project. Probably my favorite out of everything else because I really put sweat and blood into this (about 36 hours).

Made the ants blue instead of black or red. The color black looks dead to me and red is just a little too much.

Indulge in the sweet goodness of candies and desserts:giggle:
