Happy Easter Minna! Once again my parents left me for Vegas (to ref at the qualifier) so I'm stuck back here alone. This means my Uncle and I go out to eat and once again we're going to my favorite place Matsuya. It's a very very long drive, but so worth it. Best sushi and most authentic menu I've ever seen! But even with all that I've been looking at bento blogs and all that recently so I decided I was going to make an Easter Bento. I found some really cute ideas and had to do it! Both the little chickie and the bunny ideas came from Anna the Red, she's so creative! Anyway this bento contains:
107 1/2 cup Rice (Green) 18 Kamaboko Bunny 1 Lettuce Divider 30 Chipotle Chicken Flower 40 Mandarin Orange 2 Small Strawberry 52 Inari (Nest Under Chickie) 39 1/2 Hard Boiled Egg 6 Mini Sweet Pepper 1 Carrot Butterfly
3 Imodango (potato dumplings), cooked broccoli and romanesco broccoli, yellow cocktail tomatoes, a sesame mochi, raspberries, pickled vegetables, carrot stars and peppers with cream cheese and a little bottle of soy sauce.
My contest entry for Bento&co's pasta contest panko fried mouse meat ball with hot dog ears and tail baby chick mozzarella balls on spaghetti nest cooked carrot flowers and mushrooms aaannnd cantaloupe and raspberries
I wish the photo came out better =n= and the cheese eyes were like melting off the mozzarella balls that was weird.... edit: tried to make the picture less yellow
