The New Street Photographer's ManifestoFebruary 7, 2013/by techgnotic
Street photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson called it the “decisive moment”— the captured instant when all the photograph’s elements come together to tell a story in a way a text narrative of thousands of words could never begin to. It is what hooks people, both practitioners and advocate-devotees, on the art form. It is uniquely completely immersive in life— step out into the streets— in which the moment of artistic epiphany can never be guessed at until it suddenly happens. When it is properly mastered, it is as pure as the dawn of each new day, as true as the living organism of a teeming street scene catching a breath as one.
It's no easy task to pull a book together for publication and "The New Street Pho
SEGA is pathetic Archie is patheticThis is honestly pathetic, I've heard from :iconvictauron: Apparently Sonic and sally are no longer lovers there just friends now, SEGA is pathetic Archie is pathetic. These two deserve the worst company award. Yes Ken did the lawsuit thing, but fuck that, the main blame goes directly to SEGA. I say this because they don't care how a series works, Sonic is not Call of duty where the story is about as important as the sky boxes they create.SEGA is pathetic Archie is pathetic1 year ago in Scraps More Like This
The Sonic series has characters, worlds, characters we adored for SPECIFIC REASONS! everyone was not a hollow shell like they believed them to be, for the past 20 years lets ALL be honest here, the comics were the only stable form of story for the series. The games have always changed as did the story and world itself, SEGA has NEVER stayed with a basic story platform everything always changed from game to game to game. No 2 games take place in the same type of world, excluding sonic colors and generations and I do
Engineering EggshellsHe knew that "I love you" also means "I love you more than anyone loves you, or has loved you, or will love you," and also, "I love you in a way that no one loves you, or has loved you, or will love you," and also, "I love you in a way that I love no one else, and never have loved anyone else, and never will love anyone else."Engineering Eggshells5 years ago in Scraps More Like This

Kathrine had said "I love you" too soon, which terrified Ty because it wasn't supposed to be done like this. It was either the seventh or eighth time they'd been out together and she just came out with it as they folded their laundry side-by-side. It was either desperate or careless, resigned or meaningless, and it might have prompted Ty to leave her if he wasn't so certain felt the same way back. The moment she uttered it, he cascaded through responses: the welcoming blush, which was interrupted by the sharp discontent about this not being the right way, and then the awkward pause where he ha
What Have I Done?A totally hot girl with really, really long blonde hair walked seductively down the street. As she passed everyone stared, taken aback by her hotness. She almost glided as she walked past all the really handsome guys that she just wasn't interested in. She wore a really tight pair of blue jeans, that kinda looked like this one pair I saw in this totally hot magazine where the model had long legs and stuff, oh, and a really cute t-shirt. It may have been the 1960s, but damn she was so totally sexy and modern for some reason. At that moment, a really ugly but seriously strong guy grabbed her arm. What Have I Done?5 years ago in Scraps More Like This
"Hey! Go to prom with me, Bunny!" said the guy.
"No!" said Bunny.
"Please?" said the guy.
"No, John! I will not go to prom with you!" she replied flicking her really, really long hair back in a totally unintentionally sexy way. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth like he was getting really angry and stuff.
"Hold on now!" a sweet and silky voice chimed. She looked over to see a totally ho
SolsticeOnce upon a time, when you were still sunlighthouses and shimmering existence wherever you were needed most, you found him. He was November, shaky on his first last legs, and you saw through the mind-twistings he feigned to the mind-twistings that were really there, knotted up in his dreams.Solstice4 years ago in Scraps More Like This
You were still birdsong then, and thunderstorms, and your bodyheat melted the frost claws that held him tight. You held onto him as his November deepened. When he howled, you howled with him, and the wind played with your voices and pressed the softness of your lungs against your cageribsand then against each other's.
November became solstice, and you felt him shiver through that long night and didn't mind the coldbitten nails that grazed your skin. He slept when the moon drowned below the treeline, but the iceflakes began to drift in like small animals seeking the pulsing riverheat of your blood, and chilling you. He lay there, vulnerable as his world turned slowly towards the light, and you
