-The Last Night-
Caden walked slowly through the empty park. He walked as if he was dragging himself, body hunched over, his cheeks stained with tears. He was covered in black from head to toe, as he always was. He heard his name being called in the distance; he lifted his head. His hazel eyes appeared empty, dark circles surrounded them; proof he hadn't been sleeping. He saw a figure step from the darkness, into the light of a nearby street light; a slight heaviness was lifted from his heart. Caden staggered towards him, almost falling into his arms.

Chapter 10: I Won't Forget
Ken slowly opened his eyes to a darkened room. He sat up slowly, running his fingers through his hair; feeling a bit better. He got up, walking slowly over to the bedroom door as he opened it, stepping quietly out into the hallway. He walked towards the front of the apartment seeing that Alex was benched out on the couch.

"Why can't you just go away" he said sniffling, going to sit down at the kitchen table. He rested his head on his arms, feeling his head start to pound again. He thought about last night, about the fireplace. Although his head wasn't all that clear due to the fever, he remembers how warm he felt. He admitted it; it felt nice to be held like that, to feel the warmth of another person. He also felt, safe in a way like nothing could harm him as long as he was there in his arms.
