Loki, You Are LovedThe trip back to Asgard was a quiet one. Though they were bound to one another across the bridge with their hands on either side of the tesseract, Thor still had his hand on Loki's shoulder, holding him firmly in place. As if he could go anywhere anyway, with the bindings holding his hands in place and his mouth shut.Loki, You Are Loved3 years ago in Drama More Like This
Everything came back into focus from a hazed, rainbow blur, and Loki found himself looking around what he was certain was the bifrost that had been destroyed when he fought Thor all those weeks ago.
Noticing his quiet, inquisitive look, Thor gave a bitter snort as Heimdall pulled the sword from its place. "As it turns out, time passes much slower on Earth than it does here. You have been absent from our lives for two years. We had plenty of time to recreate the bridge and the bifrost."
He tugged insensitively at the chains binding Loki's hands together as they started down the long path that would take them back to the palace.
As they grew closer to his old home Loki bega
The First Time Tony Stark Heard Loki SingLoki's head bobbed along with the heavy drums that set the beat to his current favorite song. As much as he hated Earth there was one thing he had to admit humans had gotten right; music. The First Time Tony Stark Heard Loki Sing3 years ago in Romance More Like This
He had been living in Stark Tower for nearly six months and the only solace he had found was in this human music. Asgardian music seemed somewhat soulless in comparison. Asgardian musicians rare employed the use of singing and when they did the lyrics were never so provocative. Musicians on Earth seemed to have no problem revealing everything to their varied audiences, from the tragedies of their home lives to their many sexual conquests to their more illicit actions. There was a freedom to the music that he loved.
Not to mention variety. There were fast, pulsing beats that made him ache to move though he wasn't sure in what way but at the same time there were melodies so smooth and gentle they often lulled him to sleep. Then there were sounds he could hardly classify as music at all and
The Second Time Tony Stark Heard Loki Sing"Wait, you want what?" Tony followed Loki through the hall of his tower as he flitted this way and that, peering through windows. "Are you serious?"The Second Time Tony Stark Heard Loki Sing3 years ago in Romance More Like This
"Why would I joke?" Loki said flatly as he jotted down a note on the pad he was holding, surveying the city out the window.
"You are the trickster god." Tony pointed out, trying to step in front of the ex-Asgardian to stop him from continuing down the hall.
"Not anymore." Loki pointed out, side-stepping the man. "I'm not joking."
Tony stood in shock as he watched the man walk down the hall as princely as can be. "But a pop star Loki, seriously?!"
"Rock star. And why not?" He corrected when Tony had caught up to him. "I need something to do while I'm trapped here. I have the talent and, as you pointed out, I already have adoring fans."
He could see that Tony wasn't buying it but he could hardly tell him the real reason. He couldn't explain how those few minutes on stage had been the best moments of
Loki, You Are Loved: Part 2, Chapter 2Time passed funny with Thor gone. Every day Loki would wake up to a ceiling he barely remembered, and it would take him a few terrifying moments to remember where he was. Why he was there. That Thor was gone.Loki, You Are Loved: Part 2, Chapter 23 years ago in Drama More Like This
As if the constant reminder of Thor's death by the scathing glares he got by everyone he passed, he had to look at the Thunder god's hammer each and every day, immobile on the side of his throne. Thor's throne.
The tears dried up after a week or so. Crying wasn't bringing Thor back, anyway, it was just giving Loki a headache.
Some night he would wake with a start, looking around wildly. He thought he heard Thor's voice. Loki found himself sitting and staring off into open space quite often, replaying the conversation he'd had with Thor, the last visit he saw him alive.
"Why do you continue to do this, brother? Do you not find yourself growing tired?"
"You're calling me brother again. Are you upset with me?"
"How could I be upset with you? You are all I have of home. You
Loki, You Are Loved: Part 2, Chapter 1One year on Earth did not pass as quickly as Loki would have liked. Thor would visit every other week to check on his progress in Stark Tower, but it took six months before Tony Stark even trusted him enough to let him lift a broom. Needless to say, progress was slow.Loki, You Are Loved: Part 2, Chapter 13 years ago in Drama More Like This
Even longer, Loki found quite obviously did it take five years to pass. He watched with mild interest at the rapid rate humans aged, wondering mildly what it must be like to live such short, pitiful lives. And still, Thor would visit every other week. He would stay for an hour or so and ask asinine questions about what Loki was doing. The finishing touches were being put on the city it was almost back to normal. Like Loki had never attacked at all.
Unfortunately, people did not forget like rock and buildings did. Loki had stones thrown at him every other day, sometimes and most awful by children.
As five years crawled by, Loki found himself in the midst of an infant. Tony Stark had final
Remembering Coulson With TonyThe song came to an end and Clint lowered his bow, only now realizing he was crying. He had probably been crying the entire time without realizing it.Remembering Coulson With Tony3 years ago in Drama More Like This
"Good bye Phil." he whispered before rising and making a beeline for the nearest exit.
Tony caught up with him in the parking lot, the sun dipping low in the sky.
"Come on, buddy. Let's go drink your feelings." He said, putting his arm around Clint's shoulder. "And before you ask, no, I haven't been put up to this by Natasha because she doesn't want you to be alone tonight. That's preposterous."
Sighing Clint let himself be dragged towards Tony's car. He knew it was useless to argue. If he refused and went back to the tower, Tony would just put him under surveillance and he would never get away with his drunken exploits in the archery range. He didn't really have the energy to fight anyway, and a drink sounded pretty good.
"Nowhere expensive." he said. "I want small, dark, dirty and depressing, alright?"
"You got it." Tony said, p
