AfterIt follows me.
My silver skeined ghost.
An almost imperceptible thread;
only visible when you shine light
directly upon it.
It follows me.
It rides the underground.
It hides under bridges,
It is woven into the spools of tar
that form the roads between.
Inevitably if I walk too fast
it reminds me -
Like the tug of stitches in your cheek
that reminds you; you have lost your wisdom.
It reminds me.
It trips me in doorways,
when my mind is elsewhere.
If I look away from it -
- it slips round my neck.
Another knot to throw over the beams
it mauls me without a fair chance.
I tried to sever it. I can't.
Only the corrosion of time has a chance.
So for now, I am tethered
to the fragment of my heart
that I tore out for you.
Although we have placed it in a shroud
and declared it dead,
the umbilical thrumming keeps me awake.
It does not desist;
the connection to that unwanted slab of meat.

Long live he, the Wanderer and his steed Arbhach
For they ventured past the transcending bridge
Into the valley of the shadow of the colossi
Entered he the halls of stone, and bartered with Dormin
"Pledge thee, in return for thine bidding, the maiden's life shall be returned"
And Dormin spoke
"Verily, it shalt be done. But the price to pay shall be heavy"
By Dormin's command he pledged to vanquish
The sixteen gods of stone
In the hopes that his maiden's life
A promise only possible in the Valley of the Shadow of the Colossi
With Arbhach his steed, and siúinéir solais his sword,
And love strengthening his will
He ventured and fought these God's of Stone
Attacking at the mharc ar an clocha Dia
But the price was heavy indeed
For these sixteen were portions of a single whole
But the Wanderer knew not
Aye, that Dormin once was a Damned God
Overwhelmed by the Wanderer's Clan
Shattered into sixteen pieces

"Lister, it is four o'clock in the afternoon, if you lie in that position much longer you are going to develop bed sores," the hologram said in exasperation, hooking his thumbs into his belt loops. "At which point I shall be forced to ask Kryten to flip you firmly off your backside, scrub you down with emollient and cart you off to quarantine simply so we don't have to endure the stench that will waft so exuberantly from the grubby little pustules."
Lister slowly sloped his gaze up from Izabel Goulart's striking paisley number, circa early 21st century, and up to meet Rimmer's own, his mulatto features breaking into an irritatingly warm smile.
"Sorry, is there something' you wanted?" came the scouse drawl as he poked the fur rimmed front of hi
A Love Story I had never thought about my existence beyond my all consuming need for vengeance. Having departed that infernal ship the scene of my final crime I sought out the Arctic cold of the north to end my life. I welcomed the idea of death, the idea of the oblivion waiting for me in the flames. I hid my face from the stars and shunned everything beautiful.A Love Story5 years ago in Humor More Like This
That there could be something more never occurred to me, that is until the dreams began.
The first was while I drifted north. I woke suddenly, my stolen heart pounding and a light sheen of sweat coating my flesh. It froze almost immediately, reflecting the sparkling of the stars above me. That night, I remembered nothing but strange architecture unearthly and coated with green slime. And the voice. It was not even a voice so much as a sensation deep in my sternum, a vibrating sensation that conveyed the fe

Me and Seto could be doing all sorts of things right now. Exploring the area, fighting enemies, be together. But no. I had to go and fucking die. Die before I could tell him. You were running as fast as you could. Trying to get through the crowded hall so you could actually get to your next class on time. You suddenly ran into someone causing both of you to fall backwards on the linoleum floor. You rubbed your head from where you had run into the person.
You looked over and you saw that you had bumped into the a bot with blond wavy hair that went to above his shoulders and one stubborn curl that just kind of stuck out. You stood up and brushed yourself off. You then offered your hand to the boy you had run into. He stared at you before taking your hand.
"Thank you..." You just barely heard him over the roar of the hallway.
"Your welcome. Sorry that I bumped into you, I was trying to get to my next class....." You smiled at him but then realized that you need to get a move on.
"Um... I'm sorry but I need to go!" You yelled as you turned away and started off again.

River pulled down the sheet that covered her face and looked up, bleary-eyed, at the Doctor looming over her in her cell.
"Unh!" She glared at him.
"Did you just grunt at me?" he asked.
She grunted again.
The Doctor grinned like a little boy who'd just discovered his dog could talk. He bounced on his toes and beamed at her. She gave him a dirty look and scrubbed her hands over her weary face and into her tangled hair.
Resigned, she flung aside her prison issue blanket and swung her feet to the floor. She sat up, then hunched over with her face in her hands.
"What do you want, Sweetie?" she asked, trying not to sound as disgusted as she felt.
"Grunt again," he said.
She stared up at him over her fingers. "What?"
He bounced, beaming. "Grunt again. It's cute!"
River groaned into her hands and rocked slightly, finally rocking herself to her feet.
She poked a sharp-tipped fingernail in his chest. "I a

There are few things that people fear more then anything. Not like spiders, or getting a bad grade, or having your belt fall off during a presentation, although those are certainly good ones. No, I mean things that mankind has been scared of yet revered since the species was created.
Daniel Fenton has looked them all in the eye, and somehow muddled through. The personification of the mighty darkness, the end of the known universe, the death beyond, they all lived within him. Some people may say that they fear death, but Danny knows that they know nothing of darkness, of fear and destruction. He can stare into the abyss, and it instantly stares back with blood red eyes that carried such a perfect reflection of his.
After a while, Danny realized something. He didn't fear death anymore. He'd seen its scarred and bone-pale face so many times it a
