Bento 71

Contains: 2 round salmon filled rice balls (shaped like kitties w/out tails... forgot the tails), 1 boiled egg/halved (yolk was removed and mixed with mayo, a tiny bit of mustard seasoning, parsley and replaced back into the egg. topped with ham hearts) boiled asperagus, Salmon slice (salted), and 2 cherry tomatoes (with homemade flag pick)

OKAY so I happened to be looking at ~RiYuPai's bento here: [link] and read the contents and found out there is a manga about BENTO!!! its called "Hatsukoi no Lunchbox" and i went to look it up and read it. It is such a cute manga and I HIGHLY suggest any bento maker to read this series! It even has how-to recipes at the end of each chapter! It not only tells you a story but shows you how to make certain bento items, tips and tricks, and recipes! It is very inspiring and creative! XD I had to print out all the recipes. I was basically following the bento from the first chapter but instead of baseball i decided i wanted lil kitties! Unfortunately i forgot to make the lil tails but oh well. I made it slightly different so that it wouldn't exactly match the one from the manga! Please check it out and read "Hatsukoi no Lunchbox"! well worth it!

I made this bento to show to a friend it's possible to make a cute bento less a cute bento box. And this is one of my favorite now !

Mon deuxième bento ! Cette fois-ci, je n'ai pas triché ! Je l'ai fait en m'inspirant du bento "Miss Pieuvre" tiré du livre "Délicieux Bento" de Crystal Watanabe et de Maki Ogawa. C'est à mon avis le meilleur livré sorti en France ! Ma bible !

Il a été pleins d'enseignements ! Et de ratés ! lol Il faut vraiment attendre que le riz ait refroidi avant de faire une décoration en cheddar. Ou alors, utiliser un fromage plus épais, type gouda.

Au menu : riz teinté en bleu, saucisses poulpettes, poulet frit à la japonaise dans le premier compartiment. Et des Napolitains et des Balistos en dessert.

J'ai utilisé la boîte à Bento Kingyo Fish.

My bento second! This time, I did not cheat! I made it by inspiring me of the bento " Miss Octopus " pulled of the book "Yum-Yum Bento Box" of Crystal Watanabe and Maki Ogawa. It is the best delivered brought out in France for me! My Bible!
It was full of teachings! And of failures! Lol It is really necessary to wait that the rice cooled before making a decoration in cheddar cheese. Or then, use a more thick, typical Gouda cheese.

To the menu: rice was tinged in blue, sausages "poulpettes" (octopus), chicken fries Japanese-style in the first compartment. And Neapolitan and Balistos for dessert.

I used the Bento Box Kingyo Fish.

Yes that egg is bunny shaped :'D but my egg was a little bit too smal so the ears arent that great :'D
