I've never met a monster with a more disagreeable attitude than Grumpy Something. Inspired by the phenomena of Internet memes, macros, and cats, Grumpy's always ready to meet any suggestion with a heartfelt NO.
Handsewn. Close to 4 inches tall. Polyester fleece with felt and embroidered accents. Stuffed with polyfill.
If he's currently in stock, you can find him here: [link]
I've been working on her since December and finished just a few days ago ^^ She's 100% posable; legs, tail, ears, etc Originally I had hand painted her face but later I went over the entire thing with an airbrush to try and match her markings as much as possible. I even included brownish spots that she has on one of her paws (sorry, not pictured )
I'm fairly happy with it but as always there are things about it that bother me. It looks so much better and grumpier in real life I redid the face twice and did the armature 3 times until I figured out what I was doing Probably why it took so long
I might be selling it if I think that I can get what it's worth (whatever that is). I'm not sure how to go about doing that though.
I'll probably add more information here later but for now if you have questions or anything, please comment!
Continuing my experiments with tiny needle-felting. The stripes on this guy are done with a Copic marker. Arms are dabbed with Mod Podge to keep shape.
I love the mimic octopus! I've been longing to make one ever since I finished my first blue-ringed octopus. They're fascinating and have awesome eyebrows! I'm determined to eventually make a full sized one with pipe cleaner armature so it can be posed in all those classic mimic poses. This tiny one will have to do for the meantime.
Made as a commission. She wanted her made and was willing to compromise fabric for a better price. She is made out of fleece and I think she may have looked cleaner with the stitches if a different fabric was used but then she would have cost a lot and as long has her new owner likes her, that's all that matters. Tigress also sits on her own.
You can't see the ears in this picture but they're there!
Again, won't have alternate pictures until I get a new computer.
