Valentines stuff!I'll be listing the valentine critters in my etsy shop tomorrow night (Monday) about 6pm California time. I'll add a few more pics to the gallery tomorrow that will also be available.
I can only guarantee these by Valentine's day in the states at this point. Sorry I didn't get more made sooner. I just got so involved with plushie experimentation
It's nice to be back to sculpting. I know some people were concerned I'd just dropped it entirely and moved to plushies, so don't worry about that. Sculpting will always be my greatest artistic passion! It's just good to try something new now and then. I've even started messing with colored pencils and acrylic painting as well. I actually signed up for a couple art classes. They're not exactly expert level classes, just community ones, but I'm surprised at how much I'm actually learning, or rather re-learning what I have long forgotten from college. I'll be sitting there thinking, "Yeah I know that. And that. Aaaand that....whoa wait what?
These Faded Memories Chp 1 A black hedgehog stands with his head in the air, eyes closed, yet ears alert. He inhales and exhales as the wind dances around his quills. The peace was so enjoyable, compared to the usual frustrating battles he and Sonic and friends had recently fought. The wind was a comfortable cool and the only sound was that of the trees whenever the wind would upset their leaves. The lush green grass under his feet was much like carpet, as when he walked it made no noise, for it was very soft this year. Every dogwood tree was blooming and every rosebush was practically touching the ground by the weight of the crimson flowers. Sunflowers and clovers ruled the meadows. The great oaks and bay leafs were tall and full. This was the time of year where the scenery was flawlessnot one dead tree limb in sight, not one flower on the ground, not one mound of dirt where ants would make refuge. Simply gorgeous. These Faded Memories Chp 12 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Let's get down to business
this is not for fun.
you can either work hard
Or you could just run.
You're the saddest egg I ever met
But you can bet before we're through
wippy, I'll make a dragon
Out of you.
Speed as strong as a storm
With a fire burning within.
Once you find your rage
You are sure to win.
You're a spineless, sale who never fought
so I know you don't got a clue.
Somehow I'll make a dragon
Out of you.
Rainbow Dash: This is so tence I got to hold my breath
Rairty: We can't help but worry
Twilight: How can we help him if we know it'll make him fail
Rainbow Dash: This guy's got them scared to death
Spike: I'm gonna prove it you'll see
Rarity: Oh no I got dirt on my tail
[Dragons] WE ARE DRAGONS
you must be swift as a falling star
[Dragons] WE ARE DRAGONS
With all that force you will go far
[Dragons] WE ARE DRAGONS
With all the strength of a raging fire
dangerous as the darkness of Nightmare Moon
Time is now against you
before your chance is gone.
Heed my every order

Chapter 28: Voices and Rats
We walk in silence through the rest of the tunnels. Gale leads ahead with a map in hand while Cato lags behind. Every few seconds Cato looks up at the ceiling, expecting it to collapse again.
When the tunnels had collapsed earlier, Gale, Cato, and I were separated completely from the rest of the group. Unfortunately, now we must have to find a new route to the surface, but even with the map, twists, turns, and cave-ins lead us to dead ends.
Gale stops at a fork in the tunnels; I shine my light on his map for better view.
"The path on the right should lead us directly to the surface-"
"Shh! Did you hear that?" Cato suddenly interjects.
Our eyes fly up to the ceiling.
"No, it's coming from the tunnel on the right. It's like a hiss or something," he whispers.
I listen carefully, hearing the noise he had insinuated. It sounds much like a reptilian hissing, though eerily human at the same time.
"Left tunnel, now," Gale says urgently.
We sprint down

I feel so conflicted, why should I keep you? You’re causing me so much, is it even worth it now? No if I’m going through this much then it must be worth it right? I will not try to stop my thinking; I will let it stop on its own. When something comes into my mind I will let it come in and let it go out, because it won’t stay for long. When you try to stop your thinking it means you are bothered by it. I must not be bothered by anything. These feelings of mine are the waves of my mind; if I’m not bothered by the waves gradually they will become calmer and calmer.
I feel at peace now. Like a breath of air in my stagnant mind. I open my eyes to see a bond hurt and weak. I’m sorry, I’m really sorry! I see what I must do now, I will calmly back away and let the bond heal, and when I return to you I will be smile at you with grace and humility.
I want to see you, I want to hear you, but now I must fit you with all the average ones. That is wher

The red neyu sighed. "Wind." "Oh...Blood why don't you call him Wind? It's easier for me." Sukai crossed her arms. "Pops,Wind,Whatever. C'mon let's go!" Blood said as he grabbed Sukai's hand and ran to a dark blue neyu. He seemed a little old,and had spikes down his back. "Ah there you two are..." He said peacefully. "What do you want pops? i don't like being here..." Blood murmured. Wind looked at Blood then at Sukai. "Sukai, your mom sent me a letter. Long story short you're gonna have to awaken your powers." Chapter 25: The Beginning of the End
I see my father fall, he had tried to cover my mother, but she falls too, back into nothingness. I hear two cannons. I look for the killer, and find the peacekeeper. Without hesitation, I lift up my arm, ready to fire, but he holds something, no, someone. Samantha, small and struggling, with a gun pressed to her temple. Time stands still, the only movement is the icy flakes swirling lightly down from the dark grey clouds.
"Make any move, and she joins your parents" the man says, but it is not his voice. It is President Snow's: as bitter and cold as the ice all around. He begins to laugh, his laughter like that of shattering glass, and then they are gone. I am buried by snow and echoing laughter.
I sit up quickly in my bed, and hit my head on the ceiling. I breathe hard in a cold sweat. I shake my head trying to push the dream from my mind. I've had it almost every night now. But I can't dwell on it, or else my thoughts go to dar
A Strong BetrayalDo you even know what if feels like to me when our eyes meet?A Strong Betrayal2 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Every time I pass in the school hallway to change classrooms I pray I don't bump into you.
Every time I see you, a hatred heats up.
When I see you cry, a happiness grows inside me.
When I hear you laugh, I suddenly have an urge to rip your heart out; but when our eyes meet, I forget.
I forget what you did because peaceful memories appear. I start remembering the many times you brought me up when I was down, or how many nights we stayed up just talking to each other.
I forget how much you teared my heart out. How badly you hurt me, how strongly you betrayed me. You destroyed me and for that, I never speak to you another word.
To me, you were my missing half till I realized you were the wrong side of the circle.
I look away, see a friend, smile and forget you were ever there.
I wish you were dead.
Please, just disappear.

When i'm in pain, you remind me that its for the best.
When I tell you 100 reasons why I should give up, you give me 10,000 reasons for why I shouldn't.
When i'm scared and frighten, you hold me close and erase my fears.
When I feel lost and lonely, you talk to me without showing ennui.
When I feel unloved and unwanted, you tell me you love me.
But I don't love you. When you need my love, I shut down without pity and leave you alone in the dark.
You, are my missing half.
I, am your worst nightmare.
A Song I'd Like to Sing English LyricsLa la la, I can hear my master humming a cheerful songA Song I'd Like to Sing English Lyrics2 years ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
A look of triumph lights up her face as she sings the words softly
People say it's just a silly little tune, nothing really that special
But I think it's much more, it's our tears and smiles, the tale of all our times
Stuck all day having a staring contest with my desk, pencil in hand
As I write out all the sounds filling my over-crowded head
All of the happy things, and the sad things too, and even the horrid things
I paint all of my empty sheets with an unsung melody
If we were inside a song then I could go anywhere or I could be anything I want
Say, how about to the dark side of the shining moon or to where all the dreams do end
As I play the notes, sing the melody, for a person whom I do not know just yet
I know it won't reach, but even so...
Now it's time to raise your voices, to sing and laugh and smile
When you were lonely, when you were happy, or just to forget it all
And when the sun rises again, and when the morning comes

Yes. It's been a while.
"Indeed it has. Things have changed?"
Don't they always?
No. Not tonight. Demons and monsters, this time around.
Mine, of course.
You know how they always tell us that depression is a chemical imbalance in our heads? A poor mixture of serotonin and neurons?
"So they say."
It's not chemistry of the brain. That's far too simple. Take what I feel, and bottle it up in a chemical reaction, and I can control myself again. But it's not like that. Depression is the slow, steady decline of a fatiguing force. My veins, they don't run with blood anymore. They run with used-up motor oil, forever begging to be changed by some force and action of God. My engine needs changing, it seems. Angels ought to be better mechanics.
"What brought this on?"
The Volvo is two-thousand miles past when it ought to have had its oil changed. She's seen a lot of use, the old girl. Driven long nights an

Chapter 22: An Issue of Trust
I stand, staring at the mirror. The person staring back is not me.The weak, small, starving girl from District five is no more. A stronger, scarier girl takes her place. Firm muscles replace skin and bone, a determined scowl holds the front where frightened eyes once lay. My features are the same: red hair, green eyes, freckles everywhere; but I am not the same person.
Two weeks have passed since the other tributes received their weapons. Two weeks of training; from 5:00 in the morning, to10:00 at night. The training, in no other words to put it, was hell.
Workout drills, weapons practice, lectures on tactics. From running five miles everyday, to assembling a gun under a minute, to cramming hundreds of military terms and tactics in our brains. Every precautionary measure was taken to ensure that upon entering the Capitol, with what few weapons and force we had, we would at least be prepared. We may have started out as tributes, but we have beco

Chapter 23: Nothing Left to Lose
Beeeeep! Beeeeep! Beeeeep!
"You have got to be kidding me!" I hear Eleanor shriek. Suddenly, I see a pillow fly towards the alarm, though it continues its harsh blare. The lights switch on as they have every day for the past two weeks.
Instead of getting up, I just lie still, staring up at the ceiling. The tears that drenched me last night do not appear. It's as if my eyes have completely dried up. Sorrow is replaced with a hollow feeling, as if a hole is gaping through my chest. And I know exactly what is missing, or rather, who.
Samantha consumes my thoughts. I miss her more and more every day. She didn't have the red hair like my mother and I, but shared the same brown waves of my father. Her eyes, like mine, were green, but had flecks of yellow, almost like sparks.
Before my parents died, she was just my sister, but the more I took care of her, the more she became like my own child. My own child that was ripped away from me.
Death Is PatientThe week before her birth a large black dog, The Grim, wondered the woods surrounding the village. The people of the village, particularly the parents, hid in their homes in fear from dusk till dawn. No children played outside during this time, no young lovers met in the woods. All moved quickly to their destination, fearful that the Grim would take them if they dallied too long even in the brightest times of day. But all knew that Death could wait and would win its prize in the end.Death Is Patient3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
On the seventh day of the Grim's appearance, the baby girl was born and her parents locked her away in the center of their small home. Far from doors and windows the parents did lay her, fearful that Death would snatch their first child away before dawn broke. They locked and barred the doors and windows and had the village holy man bless the house and child.
The first night of the child's life, Death, still in the form of the Grim, scratched at the door and walls of the young family's home. He howled and

Chapter 22: Alone and Afraid
Trying to go to sleep was impossible. Gimpy above me wouldn't stop making insubordinate sobbing noises, her metal arm clattering against the sides of the bed as she twisted and curled amongst the covers, wincing and moaning in her sleep.
Honestly, she needs get over it. I'm not even sure who she wanted back so badly, but they couldn't be that important. I wanted to shove a rag in her mouth so I could get some sleep, but that new arm of hers made me uneasy. I saw her burn a hole through a guy with a simple flick of a wrist. I'm sure I could take her out anyway, but I am far too tired and uncaring to bother.
I finally give up and make my way to Cato's room. Hopefully Neanderthal is a heavy sleeper. Maybe I'll be lucky and find that he has gone over to Clove's room for tonight. Do they do that? I don't really know if they're sleeping together yet, or at all. Hm. Shame. The only time the kid might ever get laid, and it's got to be with that whor

Chapter19: A Plan
My eyes feel like they are glued shut. At first it seems like it is physically impossible for me to open them, but soon I have managed to pry them apart.
I'm in a different room then before. I try to sit up to get a better look, but find that impossible. Every single muscle feels like they have a dead weight on them. I feel exactly like I did the first day I woke up after the arena; drowsy, confused, and in pain. Only now the pain is dull, and instead of waking up with a bloodied stump, a shiny new arm has taken its place.
I manage to lift my head to get a better look at it. It's my skin tone, a bit tan, even with detailed freckles,. The detail was incredible. All the lines and wrinkles of my knuckles showed, I even had nails.
I touch it with my left hand. I am surprised at the texture. I thought it would feel like metal, however, as I touch it I feel a texture like soft rubber, almost human like. Amazed, I try to move it, however it remains as lifeless
homeYou once told me that Star Wars felt like homehome11 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
And I laughed because
It sounded like such a strange declaration
And seemed so out of the blue
But then I started thinking
What could possibly remind the homeless of home?
note the difference between house and home
And I thought to myself that night
Long and hard
As I held you in my arms
In all my thinking I found that each place had a memory
But I could not bring myself to call any of those places
Because I am among the homeless
As I always have been
So I thought to myself some more
And after quite some time spent dreaming of long empty houses
I realized something
You remind me of home
Of warm nights spent with the one you love
Of laughing uncontrolably for ages
Of kisses stolen long past midnight
Of hopes and dreams and happy memories

"Wolves have never attacked people before."
Has teeth, will bite! You cannot exclude captive wolves from this sort of statement. Any predatory animal can and will bite under the circumstances. There is plenty of documentation that shows wolves have indeed been known to attack humans, including the natives. This is, of course, taking into account rabid, healthy, provoked and unprovoked wolves. But the main focal point being that wolves HAVE attacked people before. One of the most famous pieces of literature documenting wolf attacks is Wolves in Russia by Will N. Graves and Valerius Geist.
"Okay, but there has never been a documented case of a healthy wolf killing a human in North America."
There are in fact two that recently happened over the past 6 years, Candice Berner and Kenton Carnegie. However, because wolfaboos like to believe that another animal was to blame, here is a quoted passage: "On March 7th, 1888 at New Rockford in the

Daddy doesn't remember Mommy.
Daddy doesn't remember his life.
In the year 1975,
Back when he was fifteen.
He still thinks his mom is alive.
He still thinks he's going to get beaten
For not being home.
And he still doesn't
Daddy doesn't remember me.
Daddy doesn't remember Mommy.
Daddy doesn't remember my sisters.
Daddy doesn't remember his life.
In his past.
"Daddy," I cry
Tears filling my eyes.
And after a while
After he lies there, lifeless
For over a half hour..
He wakes up.
"What happened?" He asks.
Daddy didn't remember me.
Daddy didn't remember Mommy.
Daddy didn't remember my sisters.
But Daddy doesn't remember that.
