Valentines stuff!I'll be listing the valentine critters in my etsy shop tomorrow night (Monday) about 6pm California time. I'll add a few more pics to the gallery tomorrow that will also be available.
I can only guarantee these by Valentine's day in the states at this point. Sorry I didn't get more made sooner. I just got so involved with plushie experimentation
It's nice to be back to sculpting. I know some people were concerned I'd just dropped it entirely and moved to plushies, so don't worry about that. Sculpting will always be my greatest artistic passion! It's just good to try something new now and then. I've even started messing with colored pencils and acrylic painting as well. I actually signed up for a couple art classes. They're not exactly expert level classes, just community ones, but I'm surprised at how much I'm actually learning, or rather re-learning what I have long forgotten from college. I'll be sitting there thinking, "Yeah I know that. And that. Aaaand that....whoa wait what?
London's eye. UsUK Chapter ICHAPTER ILondon's eye. UsUK Chapter I4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The boy looked at all of London. He was up at an incredible height, but he was not scared. For some unknown reason, he could never die. The view from the enormous wheel was spectacular. London was, indeed, a beautiful city.
He aged not more than fifteen. He had sandy blonde hair that stuck up in the messiest fashion. And green eyes that could almost kill. He looked over his shoulder and looked at the people walking. They all looked like ants, he mused. Slowly, he balanced his way to one of the carts. He didn't worry about the people that were inside; no one could see him, anyway. And he sat there on top.
'How ugly.' he stared at the sky. Although, it was one of the most admirable cities in the world, the weather in London was always particularly gloomy. A depressed island, he thought.
Time had passed and the next batch of people moved in. The boy looked over at one of the passengers. They looked about the same age. He was also blonde, but his eyes. His eyes were di
Bat Family X Reader: We'll Never Leave YouLife just wasn’t going your way right now. You’d tried and tried but all you seemed to do recently is fail. You didn’t understand the algebra homework, the wrong words slipped out around your parents, and your friend won’t talk to you and you don’t even know why!Bat Family X Reader: We'll Never Leave You2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
“At least I have you guys.” You muttered to yourself as you pulled out an old cardboard box that was one tear away from falling apart. Glancing inside, you smiled, seeing that your comic books were still there. With a grunt, you lifted the heavy box onto your bed and pulled out the top three books; ‘Catwoman: When in Rome’, ‘Batman: Hush’, and ‘Batgirl: Batgirl Rises’. They were the first few graphic novels that you had gotten and they were the start of your Bat Family addiction, “You guys won’t leave me right?” You muttered, almost inaudible, as you leafed through ‘Hush.’
After curling up with the book, you stopped at t
homeYou once told me that Star Wars felt like homehome2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And I laughed because
It sounded like such a strange declaration
And seemed so out of the blue
But then I started thinking
What could possibly remind the homeless of home?
note the difference between house and home
And I thought to myself that night
Long and hard
As I held you in my arms
In all my thinking I found that each place had a memory
But I could not bring myself to call any of those places
Because I am among the homeless
As I always have been
So I thought to myself some more
And after quite some time spent dreaming of long empty houses
I realized something
You remind me of home
Of warm nights spent with the one you love
Of laughing uncontrolably for ages
Of kisses stolen long past midnight
Of hopes and dreams and happy memories

Some say they never were,
And were birthed from imagination.
The same say that fantasy
Is the realm of children and the insane.
To believe in the magical,
And the fantastic
Is to be as a child or a madman.
I am neither and I believe in dragons.
The majestic Lords of skie
Born of fire.
In an averie of flames
The eggs lie
Warmed by mothers breath.
Emerging weak and hungry,
Unfurl for the first time.
For mothers attention.
Noble, proud and powerful
Lords of the skie
Reach the very stars with
A thermal sigh
And one thunderous wingbeat.
Upon the winds they soar
Breaking free from earths hold.
Higher, faster, beyond the limits.
All nations praise them
And they do not exist?
Fools, they are about you!
Dragon, Wyvern, firedrake
Black, white, blue, red
The old bronze
The nobel silver
The regal gold
The death dragon
The luck dragon
Dragons! Live breath fire and flame
Mighty in body, glory in na
