Food FeatureI would like to thank you very much for last support. Well, I had a "small" dole of mental and creative crisis, but now slowly all to the good ... I guess.Food Feature3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Today once again I was on a morning photo session. Of course, just as I did not sleep last night and after the session I went to sleep.
That was close today I would not go and take pictures. The sun would rise today have a 4.15 in the morning, but somehow he did not hurry. The watch was visible for almost 5 am and its still not there. I decided to eat something quickly (guts I already played the march), and since the sun was not I say to myself: "I go to bed," but ... I look out the window and there a beautiful golden sun. So I quickly disguised himself and set off to hunt

Recently the book I was read by a book about food photography. Inspired by it I decided to make today's feature on this subject. It will provide works, which should be an inspiration not only for me but for all who want to photograph food.

Sugar, lemon juice and for those who like them, raisins are the basic typical extras to be added around here.
Tasty but having the same thing every year can get a little boring so, if like me you fancy something different but have yet to decide what to fill or top your pancakes with, here are some tasty looking ideas to get you started.
Still looking for more ideas? then check out last years Pancaktastic feature!

raspil GOT SENIORITY ONSITE. AS SUCH TODAY IS A GREAT DAY FOR STA.SH TO DECIDE TO WORK AND UPLOAD THE IMAGES.
When I'm breaking the dreams of baby poets, it's nice to have some hearty food to nibble on, but also something relatively light because I don't like frequent defecation-breaks. Today I decided to freestyle a thin pain-brioché-influenced, ciabatta-influenced (opposites that work oddly well together) potato bread that would be complete with just a little butter or crème fraiche on top. When you're making amounts this small, bread is an EXTREMELY cheap food to make that is also extremely filling. The downside is how much time it takes—this recipe takes five minutes one day and about an hour of putting in effort the next day, and will be about 24 hours from beginning to end. The recipe could be doubled quadrupled no problem, though with quadrupling you'd need to cut out the stand-mixing step and do a lot more hand kneading.

DID YOU KNOW: Men have a 14% higher risk of developing cancer than women and a 37% higher risk of dying from it
Statistic from uk.movember.com
Movember is, basically, a whole bunch of guys growing mustaches and / or beards and making themselves willfully look silly (in some cases, not all!) for the purpose of raising money and awareness for testicular and prostrate cancers and men's mental health (and I think all men's health things). I think their tag line last year was something like 'putting a face to mens health' but this year its GENERATION MO and Don't mo alone.

Raindrops Fans are Amazing...I mean...CRAZYI really mean it, you guys... I'm always impressed with how much support my fancomic gets. I still get tons of feedback from it all the time, and daily notes asking for its' update. Sometimes, I get notes from fans who are overly passionate, or maybe not so polite. You guys, THIS ONE.
This. TAKES. THE. CAKE. I don't even...
It was so unbelievable, I have to tell you.
So a couple of days ago I checked my DA Notes and there was a pile of messages waiting for me. I haven't been able to check DA often as of late due to work and the fact that my Computer has been dying and I've been trying to avoid using it as much as possible until my new Computer arrives. ANYWAY, I was surprised to find a note from my friend, masa-kocha. I opened it, and this is what it said:
She also happened to be my coworker, and sat like... right across from me. Curiouser and curiouser why she would note me instead of just asking me directly
Please pass this onShopping at the grocers recently, the young cashier suggested I should bring my own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. I apologised and explained, "We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days." The cashier responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations." She was right about one thing -- our generation didn't have the green thing in "Our" day. So what did we have back then ? After some reflection and soul-searching on "Our" day here's what I remembered we did have.... Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the shop. The shop sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilised and refilled, so it could use the same bottles repeatedly. So they really were recycled. But we didn't have the green thing back in our day. We walked up stairs, because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the shop andPlease pass this on4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Read stories/poems for free, then publish your ownHello, I'm Jochannon; I've been publishing online for about two years, strictly small-time, but I do have dreams.Read stories/poems for free, then publish your own4 years ago in Personal More Like This
WHAT I'M DOING
Every week I publish original stories, poetry, fan fiction, one Edgefolk story, and email them to my subscribers.
I also publish comics, manga, cartoons and visual stories of all sorts: http://jochannon.deviantart.com/journal/Publishing-Manga-Comics-Graphic-Novels-Artbooks-293264925
I will take literature from any genre.
No limit on the length of poetry or stories, but I have time constraints, so longer pieces are harder to read, so are less likely to be accepted.
Once I have published a piece of art, all rights to it revert to the creator.
Sex: it's normal, it's natural, having sex in work will not disqualify it, but I will not publish pornography or erotica.
Considering the previous paragraph, artwork touching on rape or pedophilia must handle the subject with delicacy
I reserve the right to not publish any artwork th

Feature: Pancake DayTomorrow is Shrove TuesdayFeature: Pancake Day4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Shrove Tuesday (also known as Pancake Day) is the day preceding Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Shrove Tuesday is linked to Easter, so its date changes on an annual basis.
In most traditions the day is known for the eating of pancakes before the start of Lent. Pancakes are eaten as they are made out of the main foods available, sugar, fat, flour and eggs, whose consumption was traditionally restricted during the ritual fasting associated with Lent.
Above info taken from Wiki, for the full article here is the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shrove_Tuesday
This time of year in England all the supermarkets have isles dedicated to making pancakes. Ready made pancakes, pancake mixes, lemons, sugar, raisins and syrup (the usual toppings that are used here) Personally I am not really much of a pancake fan but searching through these photos is starting to change my mind.
