Leave it to the Guardians to give him yet another low-level task.
There was nothing Razer wanted more to do than simply sit back and take a moment for himself he wasn't a Green Lantern after all, he shouldn't have to do their dirty work. But after the "If you plan on staying here, you will help us" speech from three of them already this morning, he found it best to simply keep his mouth shut and do what they say. It kept them off his back for a little while, at least until they found him something new to do. And now, he was charged with helping Hal Jordan clean up the mess left aboard the Interceptor. Kilowog had a fresh group of recruits to train and Aya was off being debriefed by the Guardians.
Aya. He wondered how she was doing.
He hadn't seen her since yesterday, but she had been on his mind every minute since. Any time he wasn't helping the Green Lanterns clear debris or being berated with questions by the Guardians, he was thinking about that moment. The mo

"Green Lantern, did you listen to me when I asked? When I pleaded? No. So I shall return the favor."
Hal opened his mouth, but couldn't find any words. It was true. She'd had problems and he had been unwilling to listen. But there had been good reason for that! They'd been in the middle of rescuing the Red Lanterns! He'd promised they'd talk later. But still. The fact remained that she was right. Feeling defeated, he stood down, glancing sideways at Kilowog, who had also attempted to talk sense into Aya. The Bolovaxian just sighed, shrugging. They were running out of ideas here. "This is my fault." Hal said, rubbing his neck uncomfortably. Razer gave him an annoyed look, most of the irritation directed at himself.
"Quiet Lantern. We all know whose fault this really is. She's been talking about emotions ever since she started leading the manhunters. Who's responsible for giving her such ideas about love and happiness?! That's right. Me.
EmeraldAll was still at the ship. Kilowog was grinding logs in his sleep, which Razer could hear from the lug's door. It took all his restraint not to gag the oaf, though Hal would probably kick him off the ship if Razer so much as lay a finger on him.Emerald2 years ago in Romance More Like This
His throat felt dry. He needed a glass of water. Creeping to the provisions, he tried his utmost not to wake anybody up. He sipped his cup and walked back out, finding himself at the control deck. All of space was before him as he looked out from the dashboard. An array of stars and violets was before him. He traveled through the vastness of the galaxy, saw planets here and there. By now, space became mundane and nothing surprised him anymore.
He saw the wonders of space, though nothing could fill the emptiness inside of him. Before he became a Red Lantern, he had a home, a wife. They were all taken away from him.
A green glow was seen on one of the chairs, and Razer approached to see what it was. Upon learning what made the glow, it was Aya. H

The Red Lantern took another step forward and extended a hand, a gesture which he used only when he wanted her to come with him somewhere instead of staying where they were at the moment. His ocean blue gaze watched as she turned around in her chair, eyes slightly widened in something akin to surprise, yet she still gave a small nod and stood up from her chair. "We have not been sent on a mission yet, therefore, I am not preoccupied." she said, following him as they began to walk away from the main room of the Interceptor. Ever since Atrocitus and the rest of the Red Lantern Core had been defeated, the team had been going on small missions around the galaxy to help some civilians of certain planets in the Forgotten Zone to rebuild their homes, as that was, what the Guardians had sincerely promised to do.
The AI followed as she was led into the room in which her friend resided in and as he sat down on his bed, she did the same, considering from

"What's the problem, Batman?" Robin asked.
"I need to speak with you, privately," Batman said.
Robin exchanged a small smile with Starfire before she headed out. The door clicked shut before Batman continued.
"The Gordanians have spoken to us about an ultimatum," the Dark Knight said, "either we turn her in or they'll destroy this city with one blast. I suggest you turn the girl in."
"She didn't do anything!" the boy wonder exploded.
"You haven't heard the whole truth," Batman glared, "she's a dangerous warrior who'll destroy our planet, Robin. She's a princess from her home planet who so happens to be the next in line to rule. Her parents are gone. She has Tamaran under her fingertips. It so happens that she came from Okaara for a mission: to destroy the Earth. Turn her in now. I'll meet you at headquarters." The holographic image of Batman faded.

Aya, what happened to you? The Red Lantern thought in sadness. The only thing he could think of was her cold dark eyes as she stared at him with her new army, the Manhunters. There was only anger in her eyes; not pain, not sadness, not even love. Love…love.
He remembered embracing Aya tightly as her body disintegrated into nothingness. Razer remembered her last words she told him before "dying."
"I know the true meaning of regret."
"I know the true meaning of regret as well, Aya." Razer murmured to himself. He regretted lying to her; he loved her, but seeing Aya disappear like a puff of smoke was too painful for him to witness again. That is why he said he never loved her; that way, Aya won't risk her own life just so save him- a useless and depressing humanoid. The robot reminded him of Illana, but Raz

The sound of Hal Jordan's voice was heard in the air, loud and clear and Razer sighed, pushing back his seat so that he could rise from his station. Another day, another mission to handle, another agonizing three hours of using his red ring and not only having to fight the enemies in front of him, but having to fight the emotions that the ring brought upon him as well. Rage was not the best thing to be feeling when facing an opponent. It clouded one's mind and made it difficult to focus as well as to think clearly about what you were doing. But alas, he had nothing else. There was no other weapon that he could use instead and he wouldn't just surrender, nor would he exclude himself from the mission. He needed to help bring peace to the galaxy and only in the process of doing that would he be able to truly redeem himself and finally regain his honor.
So without another moment's hesitation, the Red Lantern tore his icy

The two teens headed towards the storage room where the team's vehicles were parked. They exited through a pair of doors and found themselves greeted by an ocean view.

"Yeah, Star?" Robin replied.
"Do you like to fly?"
"It's every kid's dream to achieve in life," he grinned.
Starfire flew a couple feet in the air and turned back to offer her hand towards him. Robin was hesitant, he knew he'd be in a lot of trouble later, but his selfishness pushed him to go against Superman's orders. But at least I'm still with her, so I'm not in that much trouble.
"What is wrong, Robin?" Starfire asked. She had a feeling that he was having the second thoughts.

It was midnight. Richard Grayson was at home sleeping when Batman walked in. "Dick. Dick, wake up," his adopted father shook.
"What?" Dick asked sluggishly. The Dark Knight only had to glare at Richard to get the boy to receive the message. "What's it about, Bruce?"
"Alien invasion," the Dark Knight replied.
"So the Earthlings versus some ugly species or something?" the boy recapped, while jumping off his bed and into the closet.
"I wouldn't assume things," Batman replied. "It's an alien invasion for an escaped prisoner. Their prisoner showed up to Earth approximately thirty minutes ago. Apparently they are hunting them down."
"So we're protecting the prisoner or turning it in?" Richard exited his closet clothed in his super hero attire and stood beside his mentor.
"We'll be keeping it under our control until further notice," Batman answered. A beep went off of Robin's watch. The boy pressed a button and a holographic image of Superman appeared.

Red Lantern Razer had never been one to wander about the ship. The vessel lacked the size needed for finding solitude. His quarters became his only place for total isolation, but the rage in him made him restless as well, forcing him to exit his room to locate another place to sulk. For Razer socialization with his crewmates, even when he went from being considered a friend instead of a prisoner, had been difficult.
She had once made it easier. Now he had to go on without that assistance.

Gotham City (No Mans Land) late one night
Catwoman, who had only recently come back from Manhattan to help Batman, was taking down some clowns from Joker's gang. Her fighting skills were more than a match for even the best of these fools, and they fell to her clawed fists and jabbing legs in short order. It was still a bit of a workout for Selina, and after she mopped the floor with them, she stood there with her hands on her hips, shaking her head. She mused aloud, to herself, "Man, that was a hard day's and night's work; I wonder what will come next. Since the day I returned to Gotham, I've just gone from one fight to another. I am one tired kitty, and I'm going to my lair to take a rest."
Just then, she looked up and saw a strange ball of light appear in the dark sky overhead, bright enough to hurt her eyes. The oddly glowing orb hovered for a while, then fell from the sky like a blazing meteorite. Shortly thereafter, her radio beeped; Selina reached to her belt, and clicked open th
