"Living in the Eleventh Century A.D., Saint Numerius was tasked by Pope Gregory VII to put an end to the growing vampire menace that was plaguing Rome. Given full access to the Vatican's relics, St. Numerius constructed what was to be the ultimate vampire killing weapon. Combining wood from the True Cross, a nail from the Crucifixion and the 30 pieces of silver paid to Judas Iscariot to betray Christ, The Cross of St. Numerius quickly brought an end to the vampire scourge. Thereafter St. Numerius spent the rest of his days scouring the undead from all of Europe. Upon his death the cross found its way back to the Vatican where it would be kept safely until its unique abilities would be needed again. Over the centuries the Cross of St. Numerius would be used by many hunters of the undead to destroy evil at its root. The cross is believed to currently reside in the Vatican Archives."

Included in this one of a kind collection are:

The Cross of St. Numerius- The ultimate vampire killing weapon. Constructed using wood from the True Cross, a nail from the crucifixion and the 30 pieces of silver paid to Judas Iscariot to betray Christ. The arms and head of the crucifix bear the phrase,"Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus" with the foot of the cross ending in a lethal silver tipped killing point. (Measures: 11" x 6")

Sacred Bottle of Holy Water- Contains Holy Water from the Jordan River where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. The point of the cross was dipped in the water to increase its killing power when confronting an old or especially powerful vampire. (Measures: 3.75" x 1.5")

Portrait of St. Numerius- a contemporary depiction of the vampire hunting saint, clutching the powerful relic in his right hand. (Measures: 4" x 8")

Vampire Fangs- A small glass vial containing two forcibly removed vampire fangs. When St. Numerius would shake this vial the noise would tell nearby vampires that a successful vampire hunter was near. (Measures: 2.75" x 1")

Vampire Blood- A small glass vial containing blood extracted from a vampire. Used as a repellant to other vampires. A human possessing blood from a dead vampire was surely one to fear. (Measures: 2.75" x 1")

Papal Documents- An envelope emblazoned with the crest of the Vatican. Contained within is a hand-written short history of St. Numerius, his amazing weapon and information on the hunting and destroying of the creatures of the night. Also included are a woodcut of a vampire and a werewolf. (Measures: 3.75" x 5.25")

Holy Oils- An assortment of small glass vials containing Holy Oils from various saints. (Measurements: 2" - 1")

Collection comes housed in a handsome antiqued hardwood black box with an interior upholstered with real red velvet. Outside lid is adorned with a small handmade silver crucifix. (Measures: 11.75 x 8.75" x 4.75")
