I've noticed it a lot lately, ever since points came to dA. You buy points, or get them through the llama trade, or a kind donation from someone, or you offer commissions for points.
Now, those of you who are offering commissions, I have realized one thing that stands true for almost ALL of you! You're offering your art for such a minscule amount of points, most likely without even realizing how much it's actually worth!
I've seen people offer full character drawings, coloured, etc. for the low, low price of 5 points. Think about how much that's actually worth. Points do NOT equal dollars! You can get 400 points for 5 dollars! This means that each point is worth 1.25 CENTS, no

Anywho! My thought is about art, learning art. People often say that their pictures don't look like the person they're attempting to draw, the landscape they're painting, etc. I think that a large part of this is lack of attention to detail, especially with faces.
