"My council was wise, and you did well to obey; now that you are home, things will remain this way."
Artemis was being her usual self. I patted her on the back, because she was actually right, even though I hadn't listened to her advice at first. I'd done a bad thing, running away, but I knew never to do it again. Everyone faces bad times, and we just have to deal with them: that was something I'd learned during my time away. Running away doesn't help anyone, and instead just gets you into bigger trouble.
My father had been in a bad way while I'd been in Ponyville, and when I first rang the doorbell of our home after returning to Manehattan, I was really nervous about what he might say. I expected him to punish me in the Trottingham way. But the father I had run away from was not the father I returned to: upon seeing me standing in the doorway he had embraced me and pulled me close; and had kissed and caressed my face; and had tugged at my mane and wrapped it around his hooves;

#97) I am an open brony with everyone, except my parents. I'd tell them, but my dad will not approve. He even disapproved and called me gay when I was really into "Phineas and Ferb". Imagine if he found out [about "Friendship is Magic"]! There's no way he would approve. But I want to buy merchandise, shirts, and other stuff. So what do you think I should do about telling my parents?
Answer: Your dad sounds like a royal prick. I don't know what his upbringing was like, but your sexuality isn't defined by watching a simple TV show. "Phineas and Ferb" might be geared towards an audience younger than yourself, but I'm not sure why it would be considered, in his eyes, to be 'gay'. I think he might be getting mixed up between watching something that's distinctly effeminate and watching something that targets kids in general. If anything, "Phineas and Ferb" is a show pitched at boys (although, naturally, it does have universal appeal) and so I can see why you'd be worried about

#22) I'm having trouble sleeping. Do you have any advice for me?
Answer: I recommend giving quila111's OC Dream Cloud a call. Why? Because she's a puffy-haired sleep therapist, that's why! Also, y'know, because she has a really cute design and a nice, bright colour scheme. You can see how well-respected she is by the amount of fan-art there is of her, either via gift, commission or trade. I hear that she's a really kind and professional pony, as long as you catch her when she isn't sleeping on a cloud; if you catch her at a bad time then you'll have to wait a while, as I hear that she's a very deep sleeper.
But really, the OC is only half the package, because it's the creator of the pony, quila111 - Amanda - who has the expertise that you need. I've rarely met a friendlier person than her! She's one of those people who always seems to have a happy face on, and always tries to see the good in others. She's an optimistic influence and a positive presence, and I am sure that

The two words that bronies fear above all,
Making them a target for hunting's sake.
One after another they drop and fall,
Leaving a trail of brony-tears in their wake.
Then two bronies eager to quote the law,
(Threatening dreams of courthouses and bench)
Start their internet search and declare war,
Quoting vacuous facts from where and whence.
The first, with an authoritative eye,
Spreads leg to his foe by building his wall;
Mantles word from an informed alibi;
Clears throat and offers the following drawl:
"Hasbro, play the fair hand;
A year and a half has gone up in smoke!
I wasn't making a profit; I'm victim to the fact!
Perhaps you don't understand?
"Well, I," quoth the brony, "understand copyright law,
Trademarking and legal-shit, and so I spoke:
That we're not in breach of any sort of contract,
To toy with the product we claim to adore.
