"Would you miss me? If I were to die tomorrow?"
I pursed my lips into a frown, unsure of how to respond to his question. In all the time I've served Ciel Phantomhive he's never been one to openly wallow in self pity. To hear him open up even in an odd question as this is very out of the ordinary, "Of course." I smiled, taking his hand, shocked at just how much smaller than me he is, "You are my master, without you I am lost."
"Lost " he murmured.
That's exactly what he is now, lost. Somewhere in this city the humans call London my young master resides, without me and most likely helpless. Adrenaline pulses through me, my entire being burns with the need to see that my young master is alright. To see that nonchalant expression stare up at me expectantly silently demanding of my whereabouts. Worse case scenarios play in my mind, Ciel has an unnatural ability to be abducted by our enemies, and our enemies aren't the most forgiving of his past deeds.
He could be anywhere, in anyone's

Setting: our time, actual time, currently the time and space era we inhabit this very moment. Or, as some may call it of this very moment 2011.
Traffic was horrible, it was as if all of London knew that I was in a hurry and was hell bend on making sure I reached my destination as slowly as possible. I could go into a long recollection of how I attempted to outrun other cars, beat traffic signals and try not to run over pedestrians, but that would take too long.
To put it simply, I abandoned my car- well, technically Ciel's car- in the middle of a busy street and decided to run to the airport.
A bit out of breath I stride to the first entry onto the plane, the attendant takes my pre-ordered ticket and rips off the piece she keeps. Her large brown eyes briefly survey my body, her sight staying locked on my eyes before flickering to my chest. Sighing I quirked one eyebrow in a silent plea to continue on with my journey; I know I'm attractive, demons usu

The moon shines brightly through the windows and enlightens my mirror image. I'm wearing a strapless white dress and white lilies decorate my long gray bluish hair. A grumble rolls over my lips when I look at myself. "Seriously, why did I even bother to dress up so fancy! Tch, it's just some stupid prom anyway!" An amused snicker startles me and almost makes me squeak.
"It's not just any prom you know, it's an honor to be invited to the Red Moon-prom."
Annoyed I turn around and look at the smirking young man behind me.
"You mean it's an honor for you, because you were invited. I'm just you're little pet, following you everywhere the oh mighty Lord Sebastian wishes to go to."
A sly grin spreads on his perfect lips as his eyes turn slightly pink.
"I just love that stubborn and dominant personality of yours. But you know, my love " He wraps his strong arms around my waist and pulls me close to his chest. "You should give up already, I'm the master now, remember." M

POV: Ciel Phantomhive
Demon. All my life I've identified myself as Earl Ciel Phantomhive, human, thirteen year old boy who has sold his soul to a demon. Never have I thought of myself becoming the same of what my personal servant and lover is. Not once, not ever. Yet here I am, sitting at a table with a human and a demon that I would love to see dead being told that I am a demon.
Perhaps I'm dreaming, but the look on Claude's face informs me otherwise.
A bemused grin cracks Alois' face as he leans across the table, his long fingers clenching his silver wear, "A demon?! My Ciel is a demon?!" he smirks, attempting a sultry pout, "Oh how enticing. Now I have two demons to wait on me."
Slamming a fist into the tabletop I bolt upright, "One demon, Alois Trancy, you have one demon wai

Ceil was trying to sleep.
Trying and failing that is.
The curtains had been opened near five minutes before hand, and the light was shining right into his good eye, despite the amount of pillows he threw towards the window.
Cursing didn't seem to be helping much either, each time he cursed Sebastian would click his tongue in that annoying manner he did and scold him, half heartedly, but still.
Finally lifting himself from his stomach and onto his knees, Ceil snatched his eye patch from the bedside table, quickly fastening it up around his head, glad that the light wasn't hurting his bad eye as much now.
A small victorious smirk twisted its way onto the demon's lips, ruby eyes narrowing in glee as his master picked himself up.
He had decided this approach to waking the boy up in the morning, and it seemed after a while, it worked as the pre-teen surrendered to the sun's demanding rays.
"Good morning, young lord," he greeted, the smirk never leaving his pale and sharp features as

"WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON HERE!" Ciel yelled at the group of wild and obnoxious people including his servants, that stupid prince and Agni, Madame Red, Lau and Ran-Mao, and many more. Everyone looked back at him forgetting about the package. No one spoke a word. Ciel's patience was already thin.
"Sebastian, I order you to tell me what's going on!" Ciel hissed at his butler. Upon those words Sebastian straightened up his suite while still standing on Grell's face and began his long tale of the day with everyone.
The young master had worked Sebastian non-stop with errands today and now it was time to turn in. Sebastian grieving a sigh began to take off his black coat when he felt a letter in his left breast pocket. Pulling it out did he immediately figured out who it was fro

Chapter 28 That Butler, Undecided
The demon Agares had momentarily escaped my wrath when he disappeared that day before the police. Now that Ciel had been relocated, I kept mulling over the situation with the other demon. He will feel the full ramifications of manipulating the challenge beyond its normal boundaries, and he will retract his influences over Ciel, I vowed.
Until then, there were other things that occupied my mind. Ciel had been contemplating the fanatical “Father” rather more than I expected him to, and his dear papa had taken him back to the Phantomhive abode.
But there was no time for sweet talk and games of wit. There was only a week left before the challenge ended. I could make

Ciel woke up from the rays of the sun coming into his room just like every day with that same voice saying the same thing.
"Time to wake up, Young Master," the voice said as a figure walked over to the closet to get the 'Young Master's' clothing for the day, "You have a busy day ahead of you, though we have no guests appearing today." The figure walked back over to Ciel.
"I don't want to get up Sebastian, it's not like I really need to with no one coming over today." He said pulling the blankets over his head, wishing that his butler would just let him sleep this once.
Sebastian pulls the covers off of Ciel and picks him up out of bed, "You still have to get up Master." He forced him to sit up and put his legs over the side of the bed, beginning undressing him.
He groaned, now being thirteen years old for quite some time "I wan

Warnings: Possible OOC-ness.
Forever is a long time. Everyone knows that. If you are a demon, you accept the idea of living forever with pleasure. After all, it just means more time to torture, to kill, to consume delicious souls while causing complete chaos. Causing panic never really seemed to get old, especially with humanity changing all the time. There was always some new way to get joy from harm: New weapons to use, new torture methods, and the like. So, it simply was not something one could tire from.
At least, that's what one demon in particular had believed.
This demon certainly had a fondness for mayhem, murder, and blood, even more than the average demon. Because of that, he tended to prefer revenge contracts. The taste of hatred and passion in the soul, still fresh despite the revenge being completed, made meals born from revenge quite delectable. And, of course, the blood staining the demon's claws as he killed, completi

It was a few weeks after the fight between Claude and Sebastian. Things at the manor had calmed down, there was no sign of anything new to come. Peaceful days had been all that was in sight. Sebastian, however, was extra cautious for Ciel. The entirety of his days were committed to him.
"____, I need to see you." Sebastian took your hand. "It's about the young master." Anything related to your new betrothed was worth hearing. You followed him into your guest room. The room that you had ignored. You'd been in Ciel's room every night.
"Ciel is in grave danger...I've done a decent job of keeping things hidden from him, yet, I needed your help. I understand that a demon should not be asking a mortal, a young mortal for help. But by the sake of my contract, whatever means necessary to protect my master, that action will be taken."
"I understand." You were unsure of what was going on, but you were all ears.

It wasn't fair. For humans it was so simple, you met the love of your life, get married, have children, grow old and die together. For demons love isn't so easy. I stood in front of my mirror for hours with my finger to my lips to remember his kiss, the way he felt, the way he smelt and tasted, I couldn't. I felt the ears on my head to see if I could make my body tingle the way it did when he touched them, I couldn't. I tried to dance by myself without him just to see if I could, I couldn't. Without him I wasn't whole. Without him now I just felt as if I was broken.
When we had left the ballroom he had walked me up to my room, I silently begged him to come in, to hold me and kiss me and sleep there next to me, but he didn't. I wanted him to tell me he loved me, but he didn't. He looked sad, as if he was hiding something, but I was so happy inside. I wondered if I had kissed him wrongly, if my dancing was terrible, if I looked ridiculous. My thoughts were muddled and erratic. I felt like I needed to escape, just to get some air. "Why did you do that?" I shouted at the undertaker. I jumped on him and grabbed his throat. He just smiled and gave me his unique laugh.
"Heeheehee Sebastian it's not my fault you did not tell this girl who you are. Heeheehee." Anger was bubbling up inside me.
"I was going to tell her eventually, of course I was, but I had to wait. I had to. Until it was right I had to wait." I slowly let go of his neck but the anger was still there. I knew it was not the undertaker's fault, he was just mad, he couldn't tell you what day it was if he wanted to. All the undertaker knew was how to build coffin's and dissect and rebuild human's with great precision.

I woke up that morning with the biggest smile on my face, because he was still there. He was playing with my ears with his right hand and holding my hand with his left. He was smiling widely at me. "Good morning beautiful." He smiled at me I grinned back and my heart flipped, "here," he handed me a piece of paper.
"I still can't read very well." He laughed a little.
"Don't worry, I drew it again." I opened the note, there were four different pictures, one of the kitchens, one of the gardens, one of the dining room and there was also one of a carriage.
"I don't understand."
"Just go to these places and check they are clean and tidy and then meet me in the carriage by the front entrance. We have to go into the town centre to buy the servants their costumes for tomorrow night's ball." It seemed simple enough. I can't talk about anything.
None of my friends will meet my gaze. I feel like there’s a permanent stain on my hands, or a splatter of something across my face. Something hot, sticky, and pungent.
I wipe at my cheeks.
Sebastian comes up from behind. He comes in close, resting his weight on me for an instant. Then he pulls my shoulders back, settling my weight in a less strained way.
I lean against him.
“It was what she wanted,” Sebastian breathes.
“Huh,” I mutter.
“You did a good deed for the murderess…buried her like family,” he smiles, and pets my cheek.
I can’t say anything. My aunt’s body is lying in a crumpled heap in my memory.

"Bo-chan?" Sebastian asked with slight trepidation. Ciel pushed himself up off the window sill and strolled deliberately towards Sebastian. Sebastian noticed how tall Ciel had gotten, and although he himself was still taller, Ciel still managed a more imposing frame, perhaps it was more muscle. He decided that was precisely it when Ciel grabbed his neck tie and pulled his face close to his own, the seal on his eye glowing ominously.
In a voice that had grown deep in the last five years Ciel whispered in his ear, "Meirei da, give yourself to me," his smile had grown more mischievous and Sebastian stumbled backwards. Ciel released the tie and turned away to sit at his desk, he lo
