I love making molded puto! I've been trying this out on a few bentos and I'm very happy with it. It's easy to make your own shapes and it really has a great texture.

I used this first to make Haku the dragon and then for a hedgehog and definitely plan on using this more often.

Sorry for the wobbly pictures. I really need to find someone to take pictures instead of trying to do everything at the same time by myself :P

After a while I decided to make a recipe for the classic - ramen. Originally a Chinese dish, but widely adapted by the Japanese, often known to western world because of the Naruto anime.

I admit, this recipe is rather time consuming and complicated and if you don't want to spend much time cooking, you would be better off preparing yourself some instant noodles. But you cannot call that ramen, you know =). This is the most classic recipe, but real deal, enjoy =).

Red Velvet Whoopie Pies
Ingredients
2 cup all-purpoes flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of butter softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter milk
half of a 1 ounce bottle of red food coloring

(1)preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheit, then line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt, set aside

(2) In a large mixing bowl beat butter on medium speed for 30 seconds or until creamy.
When creamed beat in brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Alternately add the flour mixture and butter milk, beating after each addition just until combined.
Stir in food coloring.

(3) Spoon batter in 1-or-2- inch diameter rounds, about 1/2 inch high on the prepared baking sheets, allowing at least a 1 inch line in between each round. Bake 10-12 minutes or until a tooth pick come out clean.
Cool completely on baking racks before filling.

Whoopie Pie Filling
Ingredients
1/4 cup of butter
half an 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
1 7-ounce jar of marshmellow creme

In a medium mixing bowl beat the butter and softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the jar of marshmellow creme. And pipe or spread onto the bottom of each round and enjoy.

After adding the cream to the middle it is best to chill the for a few hours to set up:)
Here is the recipe for the whoopie pies, hope everybody has as much fun making them as i did. If you do make them i suggest that you pipe the filling on to the bottom half its much easier than spreading and it looks better. And also you should chill them before you eat them, so everything has time to set up:) And to all who try this please let me know who they are(: i would love some feed back.

For Christmas i got the best tasting strawberry jam ever which i like to use in baking when ever i get the chance.

I am constantly making shortbread cookies so fancied a change. A few years ago my mother-in-law bought me a cookie recipe book, i thought it was about time i used it.

Coconut cookies with strawberry jam strawberry pinks, or as i better know them as thumbprint cookies.

Sorry the photo is so terrible. I have no artistic sense at all when it comes to photography. XD I baked these today because I felt like it. Nice cup, huh?

This recipe isn't perfect, because I measured it all by eye when I was doing it. ^_^;; But these measurements should be pretty close...I hope. You might want to add some baking powder so they're not as "flat."

American Measurements:
1 1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick butter
1 egg
2 teaspoons cooking oil
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Mix it all up and bake for 10 minutes at 325 F.

Apologies for a not so great picture. The point of this post really isn't the picture, though.

So I found these really cute mini heart-shaped tins and I decided that I definitely wanted to bake something rabu rabu in them. XD So here's a sample (the rest have either been eaten or shipped off to be eaten).

American Measurements:
1 cup. flour
1/2 cup. white sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped strawberries
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pinch of salt

Blend all the ingredients together and dump them into muffin tins or whatever you want to shape them in. I put a slice of strawberry on top before baking, but it's completely optional. Bake at 350 F for ~20-30 min. (or until they look good) and enjoy. owo

Edit: Eep, I almost forgot to add that I put in about two tablespoons of guava juice because I was feeling experimental...but I don't think that's necessary at all.

Since my Totoro Sammies did so well I thought I'd make a tutorial for a No Face Onigiri.

*Note: To make No Face's "face" you can use fish cake, hard boiled egg, or cheese. Whatever you have in your kitchen.

Please Enjoy~!
