The Kerrang awards were bustling this year. I thought last year was bad but compared to the crowd that was gathered here today, last year was nothing. Gingerly I swung a leg out of the car that we had arrived in, wincing as a camera light shone directly in my face. All the rest of the guys were ahead of me and I jogged to keep up with them.
Andy and Ashley were at the front of us, hand in hand, they waved and stopped for pictures, posing like the happy couple everyone presumed they were. Jake and CC were slightly behind them, chattering to each other about a new movie that had been released, which left me le midget to myself. I didn't mind to much, I liked keeping myself to myself hence why I didn't talk much during interviews.
We walked through the double doors where the awards would commence, all of us getting split up due to how many people there were. Jesus, I couldn't see any of the guys, I rose up on my tip-toes and I could just make out the top of Andy's head. Him

Ash tied my wrists together in an unbreakable knot using the tie from my robe. He tugged on the back of it experimentally, as if he was testing the strength of the knot. I wriggled my wrists around in vain, realising the knot was far too advanced for me to be even bothered about, Ash must be a master in all things knot-wise. He grinned in satisfaction and led me over to the sofa, pushing me down onto it. He sat opposite me, perched casually on the side of the coffee table.
He crossed one leg over the other and leaned towards me. "I take it you read my proposition then?"
I shuffled into a more comfortable position, plus one that didn't allow Ash to sneakily see up my robe. "Yes I did and I have no intention of pursuing it,"
Ash grinned slyly and tossed his mane of hair behind his shoulders. "And why not exactly?"
"B-Because it's degrading and...we barely know each other...your my employer for Christ sake!"
"We can get to know each other, my way,"
"Yes, but you

I sighed as I pulled up outside my home after a long day at work, shutting off my cars ignition then allowing myself to flop against the seat. Work had been hard today and all I wanted to do was relax. I loosened my tie and climbed out my car, locking it then jogging up the steps that lead to the apartment that I shared with my recent boyfriend, Andy.
Andy was undoubtedly the best boyfriend I had ever had, beautiful, talented, funny the list was endless. He was also in a band like me, my band had been playing support for his band when we had met and of course it was love at first sight. After a few months of knowing each other, and sneaking around behind our band members backs, we had decided to move in with each other. The downside to our relationship was obviously the slight age difference between us and the fact that Andy was still a virgin adding to the fact that he was also quite scared to move our 'physical' relationship any further. But I didn't care, I
The One That Got AwayPercy sat the last box down in their new home. Annabeth strode by, as she talked to someone on the phone. Percy sighed as he watched her retreat into the back of the house. They had just bought a house together, after being engaged for two years. She finally got Percy to set a date, and then they had set off to look for the perfect house. He passed by a few pictures of the couple that she had already set up. They had been together for three years now. He sat down on the couch, and turned on the TV, which his father had been nice enough as to have come out early to make sure it was working for them. He flicked through the channels, until one caught his eye. On the screen was a happy young man with black hair that hung down into one his eyes. He had beautiful dark eyes, and a bright smile. Behind him stood a slightly taller blonde man, who made no secret of being the smaller man's boyfriend. The story was about a local artist who had gotten discovere

Ashley kicked the door to my room open, still carrying me, and dropped me onto my small single bed. Fortunately the lights were off so I couldn't see his face but I could feel him, feel the heat radiating from his palms through the skimpy fabric of the robe I still, frustratingly, had on. Those hands wandered down my sides until they reached my knees, pushing them up then spreading my legs wide.
The bed dipped as he crawled onto it, bracing himself over me, then taking my lips in a kiss. I shifted around underneath him, trying to at least loosen the knot that held my hands prisoner but to no avail. I moaned a little as he bit at my lip ring, asking for entry which I gladly gave him, our tongues colliding together until I was gasping for breath. Ash chuckled and moved off me a little, suddenly the whole room was illuminated with light, he had turned the light switch on.
He grinned at my shocked expression then sat up on his knees, tugging me up by my arms and delicately gui

I rose from the crater I had made shakily, bits of rubble falling from my body as I did. Finally standing upright I surveyed my surrounding's, it seemed to be a quiet little town with nothing out of place...So why had I been sent here? I shrugged my shoulders and carefully stretched out my wings, rubble falling from them as well and wincing in pain as my injured one stretched out. I folded them tightly to my body and made to step out of the hole I had made myself, when I turned around.
A little boy stared back at me, a teddy bear clasped in his tiny hand, a mixture of awe and fright was worn across his face as he stared up at me. Wordlessly we locked eyes with each other for a few fleeting seconds until he opened his mouth as if to speak, quickly I put a finger to my mouth telling him silently to be quiet. His mouth closed with an audible pop and his eyes shifted to my wings, a look of longing went trough them and he reached out a hand to stroke but then retracted

I smiled as my room mate and best friend, Christian Coma asked me the same question that he had done about less then five minutes ago. Christian was an insanely huge panickier, especially about the safety and welfare of yours truly, but that's what made me love him immensely so.
"Yes Chuppy, For the thousandth time," I chucked and punched him playfully on the arm.
He grinned at me, his hundred megawatt smile. "I know, I just get so-"
"Panicked? Terrified? Scared?" I teased, arching one plucked eyebrow at him.
He laughed, a great booming sound which echoed off the metal walls of the elevator. "Precisely,"
The elevator came to a smooth stop and the doors slid open to reveal a new Manhattan morning. We stepped out in sync and Christian automatically gripped my upper arm in his hand, I rolled my eyes fondly at his over protective gesture and let him lead me to the double doors which was the entrance to the block of f

Percy didn't live far from Central Park, so he decided to go on foot. He had a weird feeling that he was being watched the entire way, but every time he looked around, he found no one there. He shuddered from the eerie feeling, and quickened his pace down the sidewalk.
He entered the park with fifteen minutes to spare, just enough time to get to the exact place. As the playground came in to sight Percy noticed that it was empty. He looked around for a minute, as he hoped to find someone hiding. He passed by a swing as it eerily swung to and fro, empty. He stared off into the distance, until he heard the swing creak, giving indicating it was in use.
Perched on the swing was Nico, who wore a sly smile on his face. "Hello, Percy." Percy thought he looked like an innocent kid as he swung, but the air about him still made Percy aware that he was a possible threat. He didn't know anything about this guy, and for some reason, his friends could never remember him. He pulled his phone

He steers quietly. I’m a dead body lying in the back of a hearse, waiting for the cruel undertaker to put me six feet under. “Do you know much about lions, Snow?” he suddenly asks. He glances to my reflection in the mirror and I shake my head, “They are very territorial. When two males fight over their land they fight to the death. If the reigning lion wins then all carries on as normal. Do you know what happens if he loses and the winner takes over?” I shake my trembling head again. “The winner kills all the other’s remaining cubs. He removes any trace of the lion that was before, and he rules the pride from then on.” He gazes at me steadily but I say nothing, “So you see, what I’m saying is that it’s nothing personal, what’s happened to you.”
What’s happened to me? I dig my fingernails into the palms of my hands and grit my teeth, “It’s nothing but persona

“Would you like an apple, Snow?”
I watch as the fruit is handed across the table, seemingly so innocent. The skin is as red as my blood, and the white flesh as pure as my own and it has been tainted. I can smell the hint of bitterness sprinkled on the rosy surface, and I want to wretch again. I shake my head.
“You have to eat something… eventually,” my Stepfather purrs in a gravel-raw voice, “and apples are good for you.”
‘Not yours’, I think. The apple remains extended by his grim hand. I struggle to clear my throat. “No thank you,” I croak.
He grimaces and nudges the fruit closer. It rolls onto its side and collides with my arm. “In case you change your mind,” he says calmly, getting up from the opposite seat. It is well past sunset but no lights are turned on. Electric lights have been stinging my eyes recently, which might have seemed reason enough for him to turn

Three months. That was how long Nico had been out on the streets after his family kicked him out. His father hadn't about to tolerate a "queer" living under his roof. The man had never been loving, anyways. The bruises that had faded were proof of that. His stomach growled for what seemed like the hundredth time in the past hour. Nico hadn't eaten anything in almost a week. His body was shaking from his lack of sleep, just wanting to collapse wherever he might lie. Most nights he sat in dark alleyways, crying and flinching anytime a noise was heard nearby.
He would have rather been miserable lying to his family than being out here alone. Other homeless people were not friendly. He couldn't go to them, asking for food or shelter. He stayed away from them at all costs, to prevent being rolled for the clothes on his back.
The streets of L.A. were now his home. How was he supposed to survive in such a place? Gangs, rapists, drug dealers, the possibilities of getting killed were e

I’d wish for a time machine,
But not to go backwards.
Not to see the big bang and
Not to see the day when human life began.
I want a time machine so that
I can go forwards.
Not to see the last person die out, and
Not to see the universe collapse but
To see where I will be in the grand scheme of things.
To see that my parents didn’t waste their energy.
To see if the choices I’ve made are the right ones.
Just to see if I’m ok, and
That “it’ll all work out fine”, as I’m promised.
But being told isn’t enough.
I want to know
So that somewhere years before,
Back here in the present,
I can feel a little stronger.
I’m starting to doubt that even if
I did have a time machine
There’d be anything left of me to see.
Because right here and right now
The not knowing is killing me.

Percy sighed as Annabeth continued her rant about how they should go out and hit a club tonight. They were all underage, but she'd be providing them with fake ids. Grover was the closest, at twenty, but he could pass for being twenty one, or maybe older. Annabeth was the youngest of the group, still eighteen. Percy had just turned nineteen a few weeks ago.
He wasn't really enthusiastic about this whole idea. A club wasn't really his ideal hangout place. He'd much rather have a house party and invite some friends of theirs. However, for some reason, Annabeth seemed hellbent on dragging Percy to this bar. Percy frowned, knowing his parents might kill him if they found out he was going to use a fake ID at a bar and attempted to buy alcohol.
They had always been strict parents. They always made sure to push him to his limits. They hadn't always been like this, but a few years back, they had just seemingly changed around him. They made him take up martial arts lessons, and do weir

It was around ten when the elevator dinged again. Nico looked up as he placed the last chair on the floor. A girl and two guys exited the elevator. The boys looked completely identical, the only difference being one being a mere inch taller. They had curly brown hair that hung down into their brown eyes. They wore identical mischievous smiles. If they had been on the streets, Nico would have guessed that they were pickpockets. The girl had shoulder length brown hair. She was dark skinned, possibly of Native American descent. She was a head shorter than the two boys next to her. Her eyes were a deep hazel like color, Nico wasn't sure if her eyes were brown or green. They were very pretty, though.
The twins said something and made the girl laugh as they set their things down at the bar. The shorter twin nudged his brother, having noticed Nico. The taller one looked down and the shorter one jutted his chin out in Nico's direction. Now all eyes were on Nico, making him fidget und

Nico slid into the passenger seat when Apollo pulled up to the curb. The blonde had changed clothes, and he now wore a sleeveless white shirt and some green track shorts that showed off his long legs. "Have a good day?" Apollo asked as they pulled back on to the street. Nico just shrugged, looking out the window. His day had been rough, to say the least. He was the new kid. He hadn't made any friends. In fact he had done the opposite. Apparently, one of the kids had deemed him bullyable material. He had gotten shoved into the lockers twice. He also didn't like having to come in and have to catch up on so much work. Why couldn't Percy just let him stay out of school?
Apollo seemed to notice his sour mood and patted his leg. "How do we find out who we're on shift with?" Nico mumbled, still looking out the window.
Apollo frowned at him. "Leo should have set you up with a hotel email. You should have gotten an email letting you know. Check your phone." Nico slipped his phone out

I stamp my foot childishly and glare at myself, frustratedly, in my bathroom mirror. As pop music blares from speakers situated in my bedroom, I wipe away the shaky line of eye-liner I had recently applied to my top lid. Damn it my hand just wouldn't be steady today. After two more failed attempts I sigh and toss the eye-liner into my cosmetics bag, deciding that I would have to without it today.
I was always like this on the first day of school, stressed, panicky and scared that I wouldn't look perfect enough. No, I was like this when starting senior year in high school and seeing my gorgeous boyfriend, Preston, for the first time in a while.
Turning around, I turn off the light on my way out of the bathroom and grab my camera and pink backpack off the armchair by the door to my bedroom. My hand scrabbles along the side of my vanity until it finds the remote to the stereo, after turning the device off and placing the remote back where it belonged, I turned of the light an

Nico stared over at his alarm clock. It was a little after ten, and Nico knew he needed to be getting up. He groaned and ran his hand under the covers, adjusting himself in his boxers. It was beginning to become a common occurrence for him to dream of his boss as he had last night, and it was really becoming frustrating. Why couldn't Percy just have sex with him? Maybe he should go to one of the Lost Boys.
Nico sighed and swung his legs off the bed. He sat up and ran a hand through his messy hair. While he did admit that the Lost Boys were very attractive, he really wanted his first time to be with Percy. The problem was that Percy was being extremely stubborn in helping him out with that.
Nico stepped out of his bedroom to fix some cereal. It was a little past breakfast time, but he really didn't care. With these late nights, he took his food and sleep whenever he could get them. He reached up into the cabinet and pulled a bowl out. He grabbed his favorite box of cereal and

The next morning we get a better idea of where we are. We go downstairs together, still holding hands. There’s a kitchen with tables and chairs. I think the furniture is second-hand. It’s bruised. The room smells of oatmeal. A kettle hisses on a worktop. There are a few women there, other lodgers I guess. They eat while seven children hide under the table legs. They play with toys which like the table were loved once. Faye comes in and waves us to a table. The other women smile sympathetically as we sit.
She sits us down to explain. This is a shelter for families that have been broken. Some of the women have the tell-tale marks on their face. I recognise them because I have them too. When you realized that everybody dies alone.
When you didn't take your eyeliner off one night, so in the morning
your eyes would look as hollow as you felt.
When you spent a year blacking out the sad endings in your books.
(When you wished that life could also work like that.)
When you learnt that "We need a break" means "I am going to break your heart."
When you fell in love with the stars, and the way he says "us."
When he told you, "More than just a long time."
The first time you hung up to the sound of your father laughing.
When you walked home from a party in January, and couldn't remember

When you saw the irony of drawing trees on paper – and how alive you've felt

Connor grinned back at him from the other side of the doorway. Nico groaned. “How are all of you morning people?” Nico mumbled, running a hand through his morning hair.
Connor pouted as he followed Nico into his suite. “We aren't, we just know how to put on appearances,” he explained. “You should see Travis and I when we get out of bed, it's like a zombie apocalypse started.”
Nico giggled. “Do you have to go bang on his door too?” He walked into his bedroom, Travis following behind him. He went through his closet, picking out clothes for the day.

Nico froze in place, his eyes having widened from the statement. “You sleep in the same bed?” Nico asked.
