"I think I'm going to claw my own eyes out, I'm so bored," Alari complained.
Midnight looked over from where she was leaping up at the ceiling of the den, snapping at roots and trying to pull them down.
"You should try this, Alari. It's kind of fun," she invited her friend.
Alari padded over and watched Midnight leap for the root again, her jaws snapping shut on air, her body falling back to the ground. Alari was highly unimpressed with this game, but gave it a try anyway.
Leaning low to the ground and bunching her muscles, then rocketing up at the root. When her face reached the ceiling she quickly snapped at the root, her teeth closing over it easily. Midnight laughed as she hung there by her teeth for a moment and then flopped to the ground when the root broke. The ceiling showered them all with a layer of light red dust. Midnight and Alari both doubled over in laughter while Bone paced nervously.

I still remember the day I got my first ever Pokémon game. I was around 8-10 years old at the time.
My mum and dad had just came back from a shopping trip and I was in my room busying myself with my only Pokémon related game at the time: Pokémon Stadium. I mashed the buttons on the control wildly as the oncoming attack from the opponent Dragonair sent my Jolteon's health quickly down to zero, I was just about to send out the next Pokémon in my teams line-up when my mum called me from downstairs. The console's remote fell to the floor with a loud clunk (something I would regret in later life as I now only have one working remote) as I raced out my bedroom door, I knew what was coming, something I'd been waiting for, for a long time.
My mum was in our sitting room. She held a plain plastic bag in her hands and had a welcoming smile on her face. "I got you something while I was in town. Come see." She chimed as she handed me the bag. By this point, my heart was poundin

The room was empty. A few birthday decorations were streamed on the blank walls and a large table was seated in the middle. Around five chairs where lined around the table, all empty. At the top end of the table was a young man about in his upper teens. He looked around at the empty room as his glasses reflected the lights hanging from the ceiling. He sighed, "No one remembered huh?" he dropped his head in disappointment. "Not even Kumachika remembered " he was referring to his polar bear companion Kumajiro. He always had trouble remembering his exact name. He stared at the cake in front of him, candles all lit. "I wish someone would remember me." his voice just barley above a whisper, he blew the candles out on top of his birthday cake. Just a few seconds after, the sound of the door bursting open startled him. He let out a small shriek as he fell back on the floor.
"Ahahahaha~! Sorry! Didn't mean to scare ya!" a young man laughed. He walked over to the ot

First we have the egg,
Where the little caterpillar grows.
Influenced, nourished, loved,
The beginning we all know.
The egg soon after hatches,
Revealing the baby caterpillar,
Breaking though its confines,
To show its true character.
Not yet fully developed,
The caterpillar grows.
Showing its affection,
Out into the world it goes.
Though the world is cold, cruel, sick,
There's a person that God sends,
Who never fails to care for you,
Your loyal, loving husband.
Together, as you face the world,
You stay in your cocoon of beliefs.
No Hell, hate, disgust, jail,
No crime and no theifs.
There comes a time in your life
Where you get older, wiser and life's won.
Though as it's coming to an end,
It's never truly done.
God sends his angels down to you,
And tells you that he needs you,
You love and say goodbye to your friends,
And for the first time, you flew.
So spread your wings and fly, butterfly,
God needs you by his side.
Up in the carefree clouds and sun,
You never truly die.

A Cure For Frostbite.
Frostbitten let out an involuntary yelp as his paw hit against a sharp stone. Frustrated, he kicked at it- sending it spinning across the cold floor and hitting the left hand wall. Hollowed-out holes lined the wall and the clatter of the rock caused several berries to cascade out of various ones.
"Oh, fox dung," he mumbled and stopped his insistent pacing to recollect the scattered ingredients: ingredients for important use in his work. After all, Frostbitten was the medicine cat of Thunder Clan. "Grr, if I have to wait any longer, I'll go crazy!" the pale tabby growled, but it was a worried growl, almost desperate. "If that Ratpaw doesn't hurry up, these kits aren't going to make it."
Finally, there was the sound of heavy breathing and paw steps at the entrance as a small bedraggled looking she-cat stumbled in: her fur was tatted and matted, her paws scarred with what looked like the bite marks of cat teeth. She held a sprig with several flowers and leaves attach

The sun was setting over the hills and the sky glowed pink. The last golden lights of the evening spilled over the forest floor, dappling the low growing foliage and bed of pine needles beneath. The honey light squeezed through a narrow crevice and into a small loamy wolf den.
There were three of the animals within two adults and a small pup. The adults lay still, sleeping soundly, their bodies pressed together tightly. One of them was a large grey male with a thick reddish stripe down his back, and sleeping beside him was his mate. She was a petite wolf with a pale silvery pelt and a white underbelly. Behind them, the dark reddish ball of fur that was their pup spun in circles, snapping at her tail. After several failed attempts to catch it, she fell back on her haunches, and eyed her parents mischievously.
"Dad?" she called quietly.
The big male didn't move.

For a moment, it was all that was heard on the battlefield. The downpour pounding against the ground with such a rush. The rain battering the soldiers.
America's gun was drawn, he knew exactly what he came for. Freedom was all he desired. England stood in silence as he heard the dreadful words pour from the younger's lips.
"Hey, England. After all, I want freedom! I'm no longer a child, nor your baby brother! I will become independent from now on!" those words were sharp and sincere. They pierced straight through England as he thought of everything he gave him as his older brother. He gave him one thing his brothers never did,
Anger surged deep within him, and in a rage of fury he charged with his musket in hand. How DARE you! I gave you everything you've needed! I raised you! How can you dismiss it so cruelly!? How can you say such things without the smallest consideration of how I FEEL!?

It was past Sunhigh; the sun was beginning to drop towards the horizon, though the sky was still bright and clear overhead.
Fireheart had just returned to camp after a hunting session with his apprentice, his nephew Cloudpaw, though here was a lot going on in the fiery coloured tomcat's head. Most of it was the anger he was holding back after an argument with his apprentice. The young irresponsible tom had caught a pigeon, but nearly lost it because of his imprudence and his lack of attention. Not only that, but Cloudpaw had showed little respect to the life he was taking away. Of course, Fireheart scolded him for his behaviour, but Cloudpaw had a mind of his own and refused to be taught.
What was harder for Fireheart's conscious was that he felt somewhat responsible for this kit's doing. Not because he was his mentor, but because he was the one bringing the kit into the clan. Cloudpaw was his sister's son, and Fireheart wanted to make her proud, not make her regret her decision. She t

The smoke circled the air, blotting out the blue sky in a dark haze of agony. People were in panic, screaming and scattering about the streets. America held onto the rails of the balcony of the apartment he was staying in. The intense pain the radiating from his head was excruciating. The blood dripped from his left temple, warm as it slid down the left side of his face. The two gashes were deep and burning immensely. He was confused and disoriented. His vision blurred as he focused on the towers. Both in smoke as the people screamed.
"What " he uttered, "What's happening?"
The earth rumbled as the towers collapsed to the ground. All of th

Scared, tired, cold, wet, and alone. I shiver in the dark, after looking for my lost mother I found a nearby cave and ran inside to get out of the wet rain, it started up out of nowhere too.

I swallowed down my fear and slowly looked up, at first

"What! Alari, no!" Bone cried, puffing out his fur, "Midnight take back your dare, don't make her go!"
"Shut up, Bone," snarled Midnight, never breaking eye contact with Alari. The two young she-wolves were both standing in tall, dominant postures, staring down their rival evenly. Bone glanced between the two nervously, "Then go, Alari. And don't come back unless you break a piece of it off to prove you really went."
"No problem," hissed Alari through her teeth, turning around and trotting down the hill towards the man-made thing. Bone loped after her, his long legs carrying him effortlessly faster than hers.
"Alari, wait! The Fence is dangerous! You don't have to go!"
"Oh, stop worrying, Bone," Alari frowned over at him as they walked, "I'll be fine. It's just a thing. And it'll show Midnight whose boss."
Out of nowhere, she turned around and licked his muzzle. He stared down at her in disbelief. B

A spell of trouble
"This is it, Chi."
A tall slender man with light blonde hair and stunning blue eyes took a cool stance and raised what looked to be a staff in the air.
The man, Fai D. Flourite, to be exact, was a mage of much talent, but due to some unfortunate circumstances, he had to leave the world that he now called home.
"I'm going to meet her, the dimensional witch, that is."
The girl who he had been speaking to, Chi, looked up and Fai with fondness in her eyes, she knew as much as he did that he had to go, but would miss him terribly.
Without another word Fai held his staff horizontally in both hands and began to perform his spell; a spell that would allow him to travel to a different world entirely.
But of course without knowing what was about to befall him, Fai completed his spell and saw the world before him disappear in an instant.
It was only a moment after that he realized something was indeed very, very wrong.

"Goddamn sheets!" an incredibly angry voice sounded through the hallways.
"First hour of the day and he's already fucking things up," Dave said, shaking his head. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
"Metaphorically or literally?" asked Rose, sitting at the other end of the table in the lab station's main room. A book on troll quadrants rested open in her lap.
"Fuck!" the irritated voice yelled out. "Human recuperacoons are fucking ridiculous!"
"I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that," Dave responded, "considering the only beds here are inhumanely shitty mattresses- but I would have to guess both." He turned around again and took his mug of coffee. "But I'm also pretty sure he's also fucking things up spiritually, mentally, physically, whatever. Every possible way to fuck up." It was a fine afternoon, and I was out having lunch. You entered to small café quietly, and shook the rain from your hair, then replaced your blue beanie on your perfect head. You walked over to a table and sat down, placing your long skinny arms on the table. The waitress asked you what you wanted, you got a coffee. You slowly turned your head, looking around the room, and when your eyes fell upon me, it was as if everything stopped. The world went in slow motion. Your piercing brown eyes seemed to gaze deep into my soul. You studied me for a moment, but then looked away. From that couple of seconds onward, everything changed.
I stood up from my table, although not done with my meal, and w
