-14 degrees, wind, by the sea and a full moon, cold but beautiful blue colors.
Even though the aurora might appear to not be too powerful it is quite strong, the moonlight takes away a whole lot.

Hope you like it. :)

personally Im seeing a woman with long hair in the aurora shape, which resulted in this title. :)

And I do think that if the aurora was to be a person it would have to be a woman, or a lady to be precice. ;)

Shot on a hill called Goppa in Sørkjosen, Troms County in northern Norway.

It may not be the strongest aurora, but I feel that this is personally one of the best shot I have ever done.
Beautifully clear sky with aurora coming up from behind the mountain.

As the aurora season is coming to a close up here, and the bad weather lately hasnt really permitted much northern lights photage, I thought It was due to post what I think is the best image I have captured of the season. ( shot at the 14. of november during the sickest aurora night I have evern witnessed ).

I based the edit on the poll I posted about which colors is most pleasing to look at, so this is edited with very cold temperature to bring out the blues in this.

really hope you guys like this. :)

Finaly that break caught, the aurora has been really weak for over a month and just lately it has picked up, and super great that it was not as cloudy as yesterday.

Shot on a mountain called Kvænangsfjellet, near this summer open diner called Gildetun, and on a sidenote I have never seen so many stars so clearly as today.

Nikon d800, 14-24mm f/2.8, @ 14mm, 2.8, iso 1600, 8 seconds.

I have not seen as many stars as clearly as this, just the right conditions to be so clear.

1 out of 1800 photos done on the 20.
Really liked the green cast on the ground from the aurora.
