This was a complete PAIN IN THE BUTT! I thought I picked a relativity simple picture nooooooo their is way to much going on in the hair. Not sure wither I should even post it here or in scraps because it looks so amateurish.

A mix between Serenity and the Millenium Falcon anyone? I intend to put it through some more variations, though I've always loved the cockpit on the side approach. It just looks so cool!

It's based on the game "Vectorman"- it's the boss from day six, in the bamboo mill. It's kind of like a little ping-pong ball popper that shoots them out as bombs. [link]

It looks like it all just floats, so I put in some extra gears and supports to make it look like it might work. Most of the gears mesh with each other and there are few interpenetrations.
Also, since it never turns in the game, I figured perhaps it was on a track, so the main ball has a gear in it.

Now I'll make a turntable- or even an elaborate animation demonstrating its destructive power!

:iconscootalooplz: :iconsaysplz: "Prepare for descent."

Submission for :iconmlp-atg-alumni: and the theme for this week, A pony going down; a pony descending!

In the journal describing this week's theme, the computer game Descent was referred to. Being a long-time fan of the game, all I had to say to that was "challenge accepted." :iconcooldash01plz:

Actually, I quite likely would've thought to do the exact same thing independently anyway, so all that did was give me an excuse. :iconlunahuzzahplz:

Used Scootaloo for no other reason than because Scootaloo seemed to fit best in my mind. I know, it doesn't really make sense, but hey...it's a pony in a Pyro-GX. I sure ain't gonna complain to that. :)

If you are familiar with the game referenced here already (without having to click on above link), you just won some respect from yours truly. :D

If you aren't familiar with this game...then you've been playing all the wrong games, dude. :P
