Before - Ever After
A little ray of sunshine that was coming from the not completely closed curtains on Jamie’s room hit your face, waking you up. Every time you would come to stay with Jamie he would leave them a little open so the light would do exactly what it did today. You had come many times in the last two years to stay with them; it could be because of Sophie’s birthday, Christmas, summer among others. But this time was special. It was Jamie’s birthday, and you got to spend the morning with your favourite cousin and the Guardian of Fun; you've got to admit, it was a pretty good ending for a crappy week.

The experience was just too much to take in. Around 5am you eventually got into a deep sleep. The next morning you woke, Saturday at last. You immediately jump out of your bed and run to the window. As you pulled back the curtain you were almost blinded by the snow as the sun shone on it, making it sparkle. This reminded you of Jack, His pure white hair and his sparkling blue eyes.
