TimeI'm asking for the time
wondering when forever could be measured
by months, by days,
ticking away on a clock
that rings an alarm
when eternity is up
I'm waiting for the beat of my heart
to match the beat of time
but right as they could possibly align
I catch a glimpse of you-
and I fall apart
my heart is a broken metronome
beating faster and faster
skipping beats, making music out of time
but it's music for you-
because of you
I still cry the moments ticking by
reliving memories bashed by the pendulum of reality
alarming me of all the lies you whispered
that I commanded to be truth
but rebellion laced your words
and now there's certain apathy of your loss
because times is ticking slower
now that forever is over

This girl, she called to you,

Something told you to help,

What would the others say?
The ones who called her a freak.
They may taunt or shun you,

Then she decides to leave.
Because no one wants her here.

She'll never shed another tear.

Why do I live

I show my face
because God loves the sight.
I try hard
because God wills me to.
because God gave me the gift to.

For only for a little while,
With just enough hope,
To last the next mile.
Happiness is hard,
Even with an open heart,
Everywhere you look,
You find yourself on guard.
Sadness is lonely,
No matter what anyone does,
Tears are going to fall,
Simply just cause.
The distance is too far,
Whether is the seat next you on a plane,
Or have to travel far,
And long by train.
Difficulty is everywhere,
Sometimes it's right next to you,
But even you know it's true.
Isn't that far away either,
Once in a while,
It's as simple as pull a lever.
Well that's the master.
With it and an open heart,
You can reach no greater pasture.
So don't give up,
Just let go,
With everything in your heart,
You'll never know.

But nothing ever happened,
And no one ever came.
We waited for him.
But he never came.
A long plane ride in bitter silence,
Left alone with a crushing reality.
He was never coming home.
And we realize that no amount of wishin will bring him back to us.
But still we wait.
Wondering if he watches us or turns away in shame?
Wondering if he's proud of who we became?
Wondering if he will visit our dreams anymore?
And we wait in silence.
For a sound.

how to really see.
Society teaches them to ignore it,
to ignore what they should see.
But a child does not bend to these rules,
not a single one does.
They see them,
the monsters of the night that are hidden by the darkness.
I know that you know what I'm talking about.
The 'thing' under your bed,
the 'thing' in you closet,
the 'thing' that follows you up the stairs to your room when the house is dark.
Children can see 'it',
hear it and they know 'it'.
Some feel it,
when the fear is clawing them,
that's the moment,
they feel 'it'.
They already were taught that these 'things' don't exist,
so they cannot see,
but they know 'it' is waiting.
So let me re-teach you the rules,
do not forget them again.
1. As long as you can see 'it', it also sees you. Use your blanket to shild yourself.
2. Do not make a sound.
3. If you move, it'll know you're still awake, because it can tell.

While overhead, in bright blue sky,
an imp waits for the world to die.
Gleefully watching clock strike dusk,
He laughs, a soulless grieving husk.
While folk below cry out in fear,
He dances, cackles, gestures, jeers.
Embittered, broken, bent to hate,
We've all met such a horrid fate.
On grinning moon in bright blue sky,
an imp waits for the world to die.

Link was ten years old.
He was lying in his bed, and he was ten years old.
He laughed a little, feeling blessed butterflies swirl in his stomach. He could tell it was very early in the morning by the weights under his eyes, but he wasn't tired for once. Usually he took every opportunity to sleep, but today . . . today was special.
Today was the day he met his Loftwing for the first time.
He rolled onto his side, cushioning his head with his arm. He couldn't stop thinking about it. All the ten-year-olds on Skyloft would meet in the highest place on the island; there, under the shadow of the great Statue of the Goddess, their Loftwings would come to them. It happened almost every year, for every generation. Sometimes there was only one child, looking up into the sky for a new shape; other times there was a large group, sometimes fifteen in number, whispering amongst themselves about their dream birds.
They always wondered what color their bi

But what stood out the most were her eyes
Even though they sometimes were hidden
By her untamed mass of dirt brown hair
Her bright midnight blue eyes shine brightly
She did not see the white room
Nor did she feel the suffocating pressure of the room
Instead she saw and felt a soft field of green grass
And a little black kitten with amber eyes
That would bat at a delicate butterfly
That carried the starry sky upon its blue wings
She felt the cool spring breeze and gazed

That sprouted colors you could never captured
Even she, herself knew that she was crazy
But she no longer cared
She no longer wished to try and grasp
The flimsy string that connected people to reality

And it fills you with fright

Inside there is no turning back
While you know you don’t want to do this
And as you reach the end you see the a shovel
The presence gets stronger as you pick it up
You walk a little longer until you get to a hole
You jump down inside it and start digging
Slowly but surely you can’t get out
And when you’re trapped there only others can save you
But you’re to insecure to accept the help
Even though the wounds on your arms, tells all your tales
And how you started digging that hole

Im sorry! I dont have anything! Leave me alone! The current speaker was being held up in the air by a hulking silhouette. From what the moonlight was revealing, the second boy was clad almost entirely in purple; He was wearing a sweeping purple cape, which continued down to his knee. He also sported a purple hat with a red jewel on the front, and a purple tunic, even his hair, which covered his right eye and went halfway down his back, was lavender. The only exceptions were his pants, a striking reddish-orange, and a gold belt. His skin was unnaturally pale, with a slight violet tinge that made him look ill. A t-shaped scar was apparent on his left cheek, just under his only visible red eye, which was wide with fear. Drat. He thought. How do I always get myself into things like this?
