Feature Part II've been a little busy with painting the last few months so sorry it's been taking me so long to comment and favorite work. I have been working on a new painting that is about 45%-50% done. Just a warning that I'm actually working with somewhat bright colors on this one. Not something I plan to do often, but for this one I think it's necessary

1 – Adolescence and Childhood are a basic period of the life during which everybody built its own foundation. What kind of teenager were you ?
RS: I was a sullen and angry teenager. I was overcome with hormonal activity which made me insane. Unfortunately I acted out quite a bit, making it very miserable for my parents. I thought school had nothing to offer me. So I stopped attending school and dropped out at the age of 16. I began to take drugs including marijuana, alcohol, meth-amphetamines, (speed) and eventually heroin. This was a terrible time. I was very depressed. I was a depressed child, and a very depressed teen. I contemplated suicide, but never had the courage to carry it out. I slept in my bedroom closet because it felt safe. I used to cut my skin, but never very deep.

I want to make this feature just as a reminder that, if sxc.hu isn't working for us anymore, there are many amazing stock providers here on deviantArt who truly deserve our attention.
Yes, there are picky stock providers who may "castrate" some people's artistic needs but, on the other hand, there are other stock providers who are here to give everything they can, in order to help the artists achieve one more step beyond their "current horizon".
Never forget to read and respect the stock provider rules - that's imperative - and, if a stocker doesn't allow this or that, that's not a reason for attack... instead, remember there are many other stockers who gladly will give the permission you need and provide the stock, item, texture, etc you were just needing for your artwork.
Therefore, I gathered a selection of some of my favorite stock artists - amazing people who's rules no one can complain about!!

Now, I understand that not everyone can/like/love to draw - but that does not mean that some people have to treat 'drawing people' as children. A few days ago my friend asked me if I draw him a portrait of him and his girlfriend. I agreed without hesitation ... But when I told how much the portrait will be cost - he was angry with me, that I will not do it for free! I understand that it is my friend - but I spend my free time, energy, etc. on it. So it's no longer just fun for me. It becomes a way of life ...
I wish that those of us - involved in the drawing - were taken more seriously. Because it is a job like any other. Not sitting behind a desk in an office does not mean that I do not work as hard ...
