Legit, for a long time I have been feeling like a total monster on this site because of being busy IRL and just being lazy and selfish I have been letting messages pile up and NOTES TOO ffffff

for a long time now I have been feeling ashamed of myself, mostly because you guys are so amazing to me and so supportive and I have like nothing to give to you
I've been promising you this comic for YEARS, and I'm only just now getting on it. and now with starting I honestly feel like I don't deserve any of the praise I get until its up and started.

You guys motivate me, you guys help me out of sadness, you help me feel good about my artwork, about my progress through the years.

Where we came from before that is all traced back to Arceus the lord of all pokemon. Where Arceus came from is not for us to know, but it was in his wisdom that he decided to create being that would rule over the different aspects of life, time, space and the antimatter. He created Dialga, the keeper of time, Palkia the steward of space and Giratina the ruler of the antimatter. He created them to rule over the world below.

The ZP Intro Arc writing is going WELL!
Seriously I'm so stoked, this might actually get written by the time I return to NYC, and once back I can get myself some Bristol board and start on the real pages.
My friend Keri's boyfriend Zach might help me with making a website to host the comic on, also will probably consult my friend Stephen for it as well, cause I'm no good with websites and stuff, at least not with making them all fancy and nice.
I'm so ready to start the comic up, so far its 46 pages, and still writing it, the intro is gonna be a tad long cause of the fact its a well -introduction- to the crazy world I've been building all these years, I really hope people enjoy it and it works. I really am just excited for the stories following this intro.
In other news, next semester in my animation class we will be starting work on our second year films, which havta be a minute in length.

I have completed 30 Pages of ZP thus far, and that is officially half way through the entire arc.
At this rate it will DEFINITELY start this summer.
and the intro may even be updated daily, as I have learned I can churn out 4 pages in one day if I devote an entire day.
gotta get on writing the arc after this one now haha <3 SO STOKED!

I'd say "good riddance" but a lot of amazing things happened this year, but also many things happened this year that I want to forget.

Started the webcomic I have been trying to start since I was 15!

ZP is finally starting to get into the groove, the next few arcs will have more going on in them AND I will be launching my second webcomic Mirage sometime in January!
Oh yes, one webcomic just ain't enough ya know <3
Mirage will update once(maybe twice) a week, and will be about how one of the ZP villains exists before she enters into the ZP story, so it's like a "meanwhile" story to ZP, and eventually the two comics merge!
But as Mirage has it's own more contained canon and narrative, I felt it best to make it it's own comic. The tone is als

my god never agian,
sorry i couldnt fix the voice acting if anyone would like to redub this keeping shinu and the main wolf's voice then go for it just I cannot touch this again it was so stressful I had to force myself to finish it which is why im going to do stills now (well not complete stills more like a motion comic i guess) XD

and are seeing the extremely large attack/serge of hate I have been getting for "art theft"
It has to do with an individual I have had run ins with in past, (long story that doesn't need any more repeating)
said individual has not only stolen art/characters/concepts/ poses/NAMES and titles from me directly. But has never admitted to doing so even when it is exceedingly obvious, and has proceeded to gain a large fanbase and accuse ME of stealing from her. Even though I have direct dated proof that I made the artworks/named the characters first.
I'm not going to link her, because it's pointless to send hatred her way, and I don't even care if ya'll believe me. Just please know.
I am not an art thief, I have no desire to steal an immature artist's ideas or designs.
I am quite content with the ideas, characters and stories I have, thank you very much

I want to say first of all that sometimes I get people asking, or rather complaining, “why does it seem like the comics always get a better score? This group seems so focused on comics. What if I just want to draw pictures?”
Well, that ends up tying into narrative illustration, which is a pretty hard thing to do right if you’re used to drawing single shots of your character against a plain, white background. Most people end up doing comics because it seems easier right away: the characters can talk, you can set the scene, it doesn’t require a little description at the bottom...
But, even comics require some know-how to pull off really well. It’s just harder to pull off illustrations in this story-based environment, because comics make it a little less apparent when it’s not doing a very good job at telling that story.
But, I’ll get to comics second.

This Thursday, April 5, Bento Box will be hosting a silent art auction at the Animation Guild in Burbank CA to benefit storyboard artist Joey Adams and his family. I do not yet have the pleasure of knowing Joey, but the Los Angeles animation community is really rallying around him and his family's current crisis trying to save the life of one of their little boys--- only a couple years after tragically losing their 16-month-old daughter to a similar condition.
