I won’t give a name
Because I know everyone is wishing the same.
But, Santa, please,
Bring my family some much needed ease.
Free them from the pain
Because I think it’s making them insane.
And mumbling, incoherent talks
Is all at my house everyone hears;
These torturous noises always fall upon my ears.
There are some presents under the tree
That aren’t for my parents or me.
They were for my sister,
Who is no longer here because of a stranger mister.
If you could
And Mommy and Daddy said you would,
Please take her presents away
Because no one wants them here to stay.
I know he probably won’t fit in your sack,
But my wish is for you to bring him back.
Really, Santa, all I want is my brother,
If only to show him to our mother
So maybe she won’t cry
If she knew he didn’t die
And he was still living
Because seeing is believing.
I don’t want much this year;
