We Are/You Aren'tWe are the unwanted, the broken
The ones you forgot about.
So don't be too surprised when we
Start to scream and shout.
We are the living, the dying
The ones you all put down.
But you'll know who we are when we
Run this goddamn town.
We are the corpses, the maggots
The ones you all despise.
But you'll be the ones scared when we
Expose all your lies.
We are the hunted, the lost
The ones you all spurn.
But you'll cry for our help when we
Leave you all to burn.
We are the losers, the winners
The ones that you deny.
But you'll be the ones damned when we
Hear the angels cry.
Spirit Day PoemSpirit Day Poem3 years ago in Spirit Day More Like This
We are not comfortable in our own skin
We hide what we really feel within
We know not the difference between right and wrong
We wish we could smile, and our troubles would be gone
We hope we can keep our chins up
We write how we feel like giving up
We love to know that there's another day coming
A Plentifully Purple PoemSuffice it to say that purple isA Plentifully Purple Poem3 years ago in Spirit Day More Like This
Without a doubt the purplest
Of all the colors that I've seen
And on that purple fact you can surely rest
And if love is a purple thing
Then purple have been all my dreams
Because I've dreamt it all, at times
And so purple they must all have been
And purple is the beating heart
That inspires this, my purple art
My hand it writes so freely too
These purple words, so sweet, so tart
Because purple love it comes in flavors
Unique to every purple stranger
That you might meet along the street
But fret not friend, purple is no danger
No, purple is the dreamer's color
And purple is your secret lover
Though you may not quite see it yet
Yes, purple is your friend, your mother
So purple you, and purple me
And purple the people you meet on the street
For nothing rhymes with purple at all
So it's only with purple people that we can be complete
