It was raining again, April showers as it were. Seemed to rain a lot these days not that Big Macintosh minded at all. The rain better suited his mood. There was a calming effect to the steady cadence of it on the roof, the way it fell on the already sodden grounds. He was cold sitting on the front porch while the storm circulated around the farm. The cold felt good, too. It reminded him that he could feel something other than pain. It had been a year already and still there was a dull ache in his heart, a wound to his spirit that would never heal. It hurt every day like it had in the beginning.
The door of the house opened and Applejack came out. She had a blanket between her teeth that she draped around Big Macintosh's withers. Then she took up a seat beside him and they sat together in silence. She sat with him like this a lot in the past year. They spoke less to each other than they had their entire lives, yet somehow they'd grown closer. He knew that without the support of his sist

Pinkie Pie's chipper voice called out over a faint clattering from the direction of the kitchen. "You left it hanging on the coat pegs by the back door."
The earth pony stallion backed out of the closet and trotted across the empty tile floor of Sugarcube Corner and disappeared through a swinging door marked "Employees Only". A couple of moments later his plaintive call came from the store room. "Aw, now where did I leave my rain slicker? It was just here yesterday!"
Pinkie's voice in the kitchen chirped in reply. "On the rack in the bathroom, remember? From when Snails brought Gummy over from Froggy Bottom Bog for his weekly bath!"
"Oh right, how could I forget?" Came the stallion's mildly pained reply as he cantered out of the back room shaking his head, an umbre

"Well, we've heard about Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie," Princess Luna said with an entertained smile as she skimmed over her notepad, "That just leaves Fluttershy and Applejack." She looked up across the table to the only stallion present with them. "Big Macintosh, would you be so kind to give your account so we can finish this delightful narrative?"
"Delightful for you, maybe," Dash muttered under her breath, earning her a silencing glare from Twilight.
Macintosh sunk lower in his seat in an effort to go unnoticed; he knew it was impossible to hide his massive frame from everyone, but he was willing to try.
"Macintosh, dear, there's no need to be shy," Rarity cooed, "Just tell us what occurred last night."
"Um well " He sucked in a deep breath and sat up straight. "I saw Fluttershy home an' carried AJ home an' put her to bed before goin' to bed myself an' that's about all that happened last nigh

Episode 1: “The New Pony in Town”
Night fell over the town of Ponyville and in the local library, Twilight Sparkle just put Spike to bed and was now sitting on her floor rug as she was reading by candlelight before heading to bed herself. She was in the middle of an adventure-romance novel about a daring adventurer rescuing a damsel in distress while trying to solve the riddle of an ancient civilization which could unlock a lost treasure. Twilight wasn’t usually a fan of these kinds of stories but this one was a real page-turner.
Her eyes were intently glued to the words or they would have been if Twilight hadn’t suddenly jerked her head up and found her horn glowing brightly.
“What in the-?” she said then she disappeared in a flash of purple light and reappeared at her highest balcony where she had a telescope set up.
She quickly got a bearing of her situation, “That n

The white unicorn could only laugh, "Almost finished. You still have yet to tell me why you need such a gaudy thing."
Fluttershy looked down slightly embarrassed, "well, my cheering is too weak, so I thought if Rainbow Dash could see how much I support her it would make up for it."
"Well, given the thought you put into this, I'm certain she will appreciate it." Rarity continued to sew and then after a few minutes, "there, it is finally finished."
"Yay," Fluttershy hugged Rarity, "thank you very much. I can't wait to show Rainbow." She packed the items into her saddlebags and made her way out of the boutique. On her way out she passed Sweetie Belle, "how are your plans coming along, Sweetie Belle?"
The white unicorn filly looked up from her coloring, "oh, hi Fluttershy. I think the girls and I have run out of ideas for what to do in search for our

Lyra and Bonbon, as usual, were enjoying the warm day on the park bench outside their house. Rainbow Dash and the weather team had done a particularly excellent job clearing the clouds on that amazing summer day. Lyra was reading the latest copy of the Canterlot Musical Review while Bonbon flipped through her favorite sweets catalog, looking for ideas for the shop. In the background, young fillies and colts frolicked about on the playground. Bonbon couldn't help but look up from her magazine and watch them at play. The little colts and fillies gamboled and amused themselves amongst the swings and jungle gym, without a care in the world. Behind them, proud parents stood watching their offspring. Bonbon went back to her reading when she

Chapter 4: Blind My Mind
Spike woke up to a voice he had known his entire life. It was Twilight Sparkle telling him to get up.
"Spike, wake up!" the voice spoke warmly.
The dragon pulled the blanket over his head and mumbled something that couldn't be heard.
Twilight used her magic to levitate the blanket up and away from Spike. He looked to the purple pony that had a concerned look on her face, "How are you feeling, Spike?" She wanted to not open any wounds on the dragon. She learned of what had happened the day before about Rarity not returning his feelings.
The dragon sat up in his bed but did not speak. He had just a heartbroken look upon his face.
Twilight felt uncomfortable about speaking, but continued, "Well, you have a visitor downstairs. Take your time." She then placed the blanket on the floor next to Spike's bed before going down the stairs to the main room of the library.
Though he didn't want to move or do anything, the d

And it was done. Fluttershy's horrible nightmare was over, as was the nightmare of every pony that lived in Ponyville. Most only confided in their loved ones what they had done after Discord had turned them stark raving mad. With the status quo fully restored and repaired, not a single pony wanted to so much as dwell on that horrific day (technically several). Big Macintosh for example wouldn't say what happened, but he seemed very uncomfortable around the Apple family's pet dog.
There was however one purple pony with a screwball cutie mark who was dragged away in a straightjacket mumbling how "The world finally made sense, it's not fair."
The erratic behaviour of the sun and moon had led some to think that even the Princesses themselves had been driven insane by Discord like the ponies in Ponyville and Canterlot. Though Twilight insisted this was impossible due to Celestia being the one to awaken Twilight from her own darkness, others were not so sure.

Eyes clenched, Rainbow Dash squirmed and allowed herself to sink deeper into the fluffy cloud that was her home. The afternoon Sun shone down upon her, rousing her from her slumber. She rolled onto her back and let loose a huge yawn. Sighing, the pale cyan pegasus slowly cracked open her eyes and rubbed them with her two fore-hooves. She sat up on her haunches and peeked over the edge of her cloud, gazing at the bridge to Ponyville nearby. Nopony was there.
"Oh, come on, kid," she mumbled in annoyance. "You begged and pleaded for almost an hour yesterday, and now you don't even show up on time."
Rainbow lazily scanned the expansive valley below her. Winding paths snuck between sparse trees and over roll

Now here we were, at the usual park, on a cloudy day, with Dashie flying softly by my side, sporting her brand-new cloud-and-rainbow-thunder-bolt cutie mark. I was so proud.
She spoke first when we arrived there, "Hey! I noticed something when I went so high in the sky last time, can I go up there again? Please?"
I gave her a questioning look. What could she possibly have to do up there? She seemed resolute enough in her desire though.
"Well, okay, but please let's not make a habit out of..."
"Okay." And she was off, leaving just a rainbow blur behind.
I followed her contrail with my gaze. She was going straight up, higher and higher... until she disappeared

Twilight's regretShe had worked hard this week. As much as she'd grown used to it, she still felt tired at the end of every day. Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Equestria. It had been many years since she had ascended to the role of Princess, becoming an alicorn in the process, and still the change had never stopped shocking her. The level of magic she had been able to achieve since her transformation was astounding. And not only that, but ponies from far and wide came to view her as a teacher. It brought a smile on her face to see young colts and fillies come to ask her questions and learn from her. It reminded her very much of how she was when she was their age, learning from her own mentor.Twilight's regret3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
But it was not merely new experiences that this title had afforded her. In her years since her coronation, she had also experienced many physical changes that came with being an alicorn. Wind howled and thunder cracked throughout the valley as rain fell heavily from the clouds above. For the past two hours, the pony trudged through the sudden storm, only then beginning to realize the full implications of the destroyed weather factory. Ducking for cover was not an option on the slopes of the mountain and setting up her tent would only attract lightning. Why had she forgotten to pack that magical lightning rod?
The white mare sighed, her voice drowned out by the ferocity of the wind against her face. Twilight Sparkle (now known as Blueprint to everypony else) thanked her lucky stars that nopony was with her so she could cast a bubble shield charm, which stopped the driving rain from soaking her to the core. It did nothing to stem the tide of the wind, however: her mane and tail being whipped about by the turbulent currents.

Thoughts on S3E10: Keep Calm and Flutter On
Yadda yadda yadda this is all opinion, civil disagreement is fine.
This is far and away the most important bit of the episode, so I'm gonna tackle it first: I wasn't expecting Discord to reform, but seeing how it happens, I don't see anything wrong with the concept. None of it contradicts any previously established characterization or plot, so on that front I have no complaints about the fact that it happened. I do have a few nitpicks with how they did it, but I'll come to that later.
A lot of people have complained that it was too easy, and that the whole thing fell into the "the ponies win simply by being nice!" and that it flubs the previous themes of the show. I don't think it does. First of all, Discord himself points out the title: Friendship has been established as a tangible power in the show from day one. Second, while Fluttershy did win Discord over with kindness, he didn't

Just to clarify, I have my own theory on the way dragon's age. My belief is that Twilight was around five or six when she hatched Spike, therefore he is fifteen now, and the mane six are in their early twenties by fan speculations. But however, dragons may age slower than ponies, so those teenagers in episode 21 of season 2 could have been thirty for all I know. So pretty much, I just wanted to clarify his age and how I refuse to believe this paring is odd because of it besides, 5 years isn't that much if he was twenty five and she was thirty now that that boring story is out of the way this story is pretty much a combination of motherly Twilight/Sparity romance, mostly the second one.
With my ramblings out of the way, I hereby declare ONWARD TO THE SPARITY!

Dash heard a recognizable voice call out to her. She was in the middle of napping on a cloud after a hard day's work. Blinking her eyes, she tossed off the last moments of her relaxed break. She stood on the cloud, stretching her back and wings with a loud yawn. Finally, she moved to the edge of the cloud, looking down to see Scootaloo standing below, waiting in anticipation.
"Hey, Scoot," Rainbow Dash said, her voice still sounding tired from her rest. "What's up?"
Scootaloo eagerly bounced from the ground. "School's out! I came as fast as I could, since I didn't want to keep you waiting!" The orange pegasus filly sounded extremely excited. She was smiling ear to ear, flapping her small wings a bit as she hopped in place.
Rainbow Dash then remembered how she promised to give the filly a few lessons in flying today. "All right," the older pegasus replied. Though a little irritated that she was disturbed during her nap, she had made a promise, and was always loyal t
