as Link as Zelda (The Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword) - Photo & Edit
Some people say Skyward Sword was a bad Zelda game because it was so un-Zelda and new. What the fuck? What argument is that? That's dumb. So here, have another shot of our little shooting with dear Doku. I hope to wear Zelda again for some kind of nature shooting. :3
I started making Link back in.. oh, January? Beginning of February? Truly ages ago. After finishing several costumes since this one, I decided to return to my original version Link, and finish him alas, and it was totally worth it! I had an awesome time with Kezia, although, since we also played around with some D800 video footage, I had a funny-not-so-funny fall off a log onto my back. Hey, guess it's all part of the fun. I'll be playing around making something will all the video stuff and posting it on tumblr a little later this month.
Seems like lately I'm far more into making adaptations than replicas, costume wise - so for Link, I decided to play on a couple different game versions.
Big thanks to Shel for lending me the wig, and *twinfools for letting me borrow his ears!

as Marin as Link from The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening - Photo & Edit Taken at Burhave, Germany, August 2011.
This photo was taken in the same holidays as the Ursula photos. I went to the northern sea with some friends and despite terrible weather conditions we had some shootings at the beach. My love for Zelda is deep and Link's Awakening has been the first game I remember I played even though I didn't know anything about the game at that time. I watched a wonderful LP one or two years before the cosplay and decided to make Marin if I ever had the chance to shoot at a beach. It has been a funny shooting, Resa was full of mud and creeped like a zombie, Lao was drunk with her bottle message and Yuu's wig was a disaster again after kitting it for two hours. I hope I can do a nice water shooting this summer again. I'm still looking for inspiration. :>
as Link - Ordon (The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess) - Photo & Edit Taken in Barrien, Germany, August 2009.
And another old photo made new, haha! The sunlight is now totally messed up but I thought it would look beter this way. Sparkle Link~ So Link is not looking into the sun but just into the distance. Penner-Link-Tonne on the run! ♥
This one turned out very amusing! I made the poster intending for a picture JUST like this one and I'm glad the final result was what I expect. So, this is basically Link looking for his Crimson Loftwing and asking the one who kidnaped him. My face could look more like "I don't know anything about it." But it's close enough. XD
