Together we stand
I'll be by your side
You know I'll take your hand
Link interlaced his fingers with Zeldas as they looked down onto the corpse of what was an evil man.
When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
There's no place to go
You know I won't give in
no I won't give in
The ground started to shake and pieces of the ceiling began to fall. Link pulled on Zeldas hand and they ran for the door.
Keep holdin' on
'Cause you know we'll make it through
We'll make it through
Just, stay strong
They ran into a doorway that was sealed shut by metal gates. Link raised his fist and pounded on the door, he tried to bend the metal but to no avail.
'Cause you know I'm here for you
I'm here for you
There's nothing you can say (nothin' you can say)
Nothing you can do (nothin' you can do)

LoZ: Hero's Blood, Chapter 1I couldn't sleep all night, there was too much to think about. It had been one year exactly since the defeat of Ganondorf. At this exact moment one year ago, I stood against the King of Evil himself. I winced at the memories as I sat and stared at the ceiling from my bed. At the time I was only seventeen and yet still managed to kill him, be declared a war hero, become knighted, and earn a place at Hyrule Castle; though the feat was not without its negative aspects.LoZ: Hero's Blood, Chapter 14 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
My eyes instinctively moved to my right shoulder as I remembered, still thankful it wasn't my left. The Evil King nearly cut off my arm and it still didn't move quite right, however it still functions perfectly as a shield arm. I moved my left hand to it and flinched. The spot was still tender, and this wasn't surprising to me. The doctor did say it wouldn't heal anywhere near quickly, and the scar would be there my entire life.
ZeLink- I Love YouI rolled to the side, avoiding a deadly blow from the club one of the bulblins that currently surrounded me. As I rolled to my feet, I slashed at the creature's legs, knocking it to the ground. I stood up quickly, jumping back to dodge the club of another. I came to a stop, my knees bent and my sword in front of me horizontally, both hands on the handle. A quick gleam traveled up my sword, my enemies erupting in the black flecks of the Twilight.
My eyes wearily scanning the area before me. I stood up straight, swinging my sword in a circle before sheathing it, seeing no threat to be near. I began to walk forward again, my green hat swishing behind me every step I took. I spotted a few keese here and there, easily swatting them away with the Master Sword.
Life was slow every since Midna had closed off the portal to the Twilight Realm. Nothing really happened anymore, which could be said as a good
Zelink A Hylian RomanceShuffling her feet across the light blue tile of Hyrule Castle, Princess Zelda made her way to the stained glass window that bore the royal crest. The air was cold on her skin and her breath seemed to come in small wisps of warm air that seamlessly disappeared.Zelink A Hylian Romance4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Her light eyes gazed upon the window, the beautiful hues frozen in glass, leaving them cold and still. Zelda's heart heart quivered deep in her chest, fighting the tears. Her own fist curled up against her chest and in great effort not to let emotions sweep her under, Zelda turned away from the opaque decor. Its true, she ached for him. For his touch, his warmth, his beating heart. Its as if the Goddesses rejected their coupling, as if it wasn't meant to be. Just one right after the other, as soon as she found the courage to tell him, her hero would be ripped from her by war, famine, or missions to far-off places. The princess shivered in the frigid air, but the it was nothing compared to the subzero loneliness she felt inside.
Zelink Family - Protect It With Your LifeIt was only fitting that one of the very first surface-born children, who would have spent the majority of their lives on the land below and have few ties to the skies above, loved to explore. The vast wilderness of this surface world had so much to offer young Daphnes, a lad of barely fifteen, and he took every opportunity he could to venture out of his parents' sight and experience everything he could. He would wander into the deep forests near his home in Faron Woods and peek inside the underground dungeons his father had once traversed, and even go treasure hunting underneath Eldin Volcano with his Uncle Ledd (although he'd gotten in trouble for that on more than one occasion).Zelink Family - Protect It With Your Life4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
In fact, it was on the ascent of Eldin Volcano where Daphnes found himself on this clear winter morning, looking down at the small huts where he knew his mother and father were still visiting with a few of the region's mogmas, with whom they'd gotten to be quite close. But th

I hate you.
I watch, disgusted yet terrified by you, the one true source of everything—the source of all my pain, my suffering; of that feeling that every step, every breath, every movement is dragging me further down into the abyss.
Oh yes, you know who you are, what you’ve done. Don’t give me that look. Don’t act like you’re so innocent.
You watch me, your sharp, cold eyes seemingly emotionless. I’m standing before you, my heart pounding fast and deeply. I’ve come all this way, suffered for so long, just to helplessly watch as you murder my best friend right in front of me. You laugh cruelly as the light dwindles out of her beautiful, pure eyes.
She’s gone. There’s nothing left of Zelda now, save her lifeless corpse. You laugh mockingly, allowing her body to crumple to the dirt. And as

The princess of Hyrule, the angelic princess Zelda was in Ordon for a vacation away from the palace. He had seen her once before she arrived... when he was delivering a sword to the castle, a sword that Rusl had made especially for her. And for the past 4 days, he had done nothing but spend time with her. It was yesterday when he realized that he... possibly... loved her. He hadn't stopped thinking about her ever since she arrived, and he was beginning to treasure the time that they spent together.
So why was he punishing himself like this? He wanted to see her... but... he was afraid. He was afraid that he would fall for her, even though in the back of his mind he already knew that he possibly loved her already, and she would not love him

It was barely dawn when Zelda awoke to the sound of something thumping against her window. Rubbing her eyes groggily she rolled out of bed. She felt considerably younger today. The sensation of being a teenager trapped in the body of a child had slowly been ebbing away. Today there was no awkward feeling as she hoisted her small body from bed or when she stood on her short legs. Her mind felt different too. She felt more natural. She was a child again, and it felt right.
It was hard to remember now what it felt like to be a young woman: tall and slender and hardened by the world around her. It took time to readjust to her old life of luxury, privilege and safety. To wake up in a real bed in her old room and look in the mirror and see her own face: it was like living out a strange d

Link took his sword from the villain's neck and down to his chest, where the large black crystal lay. Link took the Master Sword in both his hands and thrust upward, ready to plunge Evil's Bane into the man's torso.
"It's over, Ganon," Link said. If only he had acted a little faster. Ganon once again laughed. He reached for something at his side, and plunged it into the Hero. Ganon laughed maniacally, a sinister grin on his face.
"Your right," Ganon growled, "It is over."

The flames had crept over half of the castle now, and had completely enveloped one of the smaller towers. Without warning the tower gave way: crumbling as easily as if it were made of sand. "I could cook, if you'd like..." You trailed off, and Midna quickly handed off the pans and the fish, to Link's protest. You laughed and got to work cooking the fish, happy that you could do something for them. You laid the fish onto the pan and held them over the fire, flipping them when the other side looked done. You went over Epona and got some plates and silverware you had seen earlier and placed an equal portion of fish on each plate, then called Link and Midna back to the fire from their conversation by the mouth of the cave. Midna came over, grumbling, but ceased as soon as she saw the well-cooked fish. You handed her a plate and she smirked. "Well well well, here's something you don't see every day! Something not burned!" She said, glancing at Link. You handed Link a plate, and he smiled, seeing you put a bit more (even though it was an accident) on the plate you g

"I… See you later…"
Something about those words sent a chill down the Princess Zelda's back as she looked at the broken shards. Is this really it? Is she really gone for good? she asked herself, taking a step closer to the broken mirror. The longer she stared at the shards, she felt her friend slip from her fingers.
The Princess bent down, picking up a piece, feeling the power drain from it. A tear began to slip from her eye as she examined it, seeing her reflection in the glass. Another tear made a trail down her face as she stood up, dropping the piece. She slowly dabbed her eyes dry with the wrist of her gloves as she turned around, spotting the emotionless hero standing still ahead of her.
Link blinked back a few tears and looked up at the Princess Zelda, instantly noticing that she, too, was upset, "We… need to get out of here... Your Highness" he spoke weakly, walking up

I sat on my bed and sighed. How could life get any more boring? All I do is sit in a castle, all day! And what comes out of it? NOTHING!
I looked up and out the window. Slowly, I got up and walked to the window, the tap of my high heeled shoes and my breathing is the only sound in the room you can hear.
I open the doors to the balcony and close my eyes as I feel the nice col wind against my warm skin. My eyes opened slowly and looked in the sky. By the position of the moon, I'd say it was an hour till the next day, or Midnight as most call it.
I could still hear the music down at the town square where my 17th Birthday was still being held. I never liked my birthday parties. And for my birthday, I never got the things I wished to get.
But I guess the things I want can be given in a box or physically handed to me. I want .. I want freedom. A life. Just to be free and be with my favorite person in the world ..

He was wearing his usual white trousers, white undershirt and his green over shirt and he was laying on top of his thin tan bed roll in the green soft grass next to a lessening fire, as Epona lay only a few yards off. Zelda made her way to her room and shut the door, collapsing upon the bed. No matter how she fought she could not dispel the images from her head. Never before had she had a prophecy so poignant, so clear and so intense.
She knew she had to go back to Hyrule but then there was Marth. Her mind reeling, she lay for a long while trying to come to a decision on what to do. There was no way to take back the hurt she had caused, and no way to erase the hurt she was feeling.

The world was grey and mournful looking- a foreboding omen for the already waning courage of the Aritians.

She had brought her lyre with her to teach Link a new song, the only way she could think to help him in his journey. She wanted to do so much more, but that was difficult to do in disguise and running fron Ganon. Suddenly, footsteps echoed from inside the temple. Zelda nervously fingered the shredded cloth on her garments as she waited for Link to emerge from the temple, dreading the condition he would be in.
She remembered back to the first time she had met Link, when he was full of spirit and eager to save the world.
