Next up on the Disney princess dresses list is probably my most favourite, Giselle's wedding dress from enchanted :) I'm ultra happy with how it came out and particularly like the puff ball sleeves and the flowing dress and pretty hair :) I even like the tiny glints of glitter :) and I'll definitely colour this one when I have a chance :) :) :)

Seeing as this was just a sketch though, I couldn't really think of a story, except maybe this sissy was busy holding up one of the pretty dresses in the drama room, where nobody could see him, until some of the senior girl bullies busted into the room and caught him red handed. They then decided to help the little sissy into his favourite dress and then left him there for the next class to find :)

Well that's just what I thought of anyway :) feel free to let your own imagination run wild :) Anyway I hope you all like :) :) :)

I'm sure the title refers to the lingerie she is modelling that was in her granny's attic and NOT a genetic inheritance. ;)

A wonderful piece commissioned for my "Corsets & Stockings & Heels; oh my!" sketchbook

Anne, the main character of my novel "A true story". With this picture I tried to illustrate one episode from the beginning of the story, when she is wearing that notorious green pastoral dress.

A bit about her

Anne lives in fictitious world (they call it alternative or parallel), in country that the most of all resembles United Kingdom of early Victorian era, but it’s rather a very liberal interpretation with mere remains of historical truth. First of all, there is a king instead of queen Victoria.

She has rich chestnut hair and bright green eyes. And she is very lovely although she doesn’t think about it at all.

She believes that fashion is not everything. “Thoughtless copying of fashionable costumes, hairstyles and habits can divest you of individuality and therefore you should above all take into account if this concrete thing suits you particularly, and not if it is fashionable this season”. In respect of herself, she has good taste and likes calm colours of green and blue palette, and also brown and pastel.

She loves music and enjoys playing the clavichord and harp, what she is really good at.

She is clever and observant, but her aunt says, that she is a little more self-confident than is needed and thinks that only she is able to see things in the right way.

Anne, or lady Regina Anne Hayle as she was named at birth, is daughter of earl of Summervill, and it would seem, she should share her circle’s convictions and views on life.

But she is different. She doesn’t like when one has nothing to be proud of but his noble birth. She is sincere and has easy manner, due to that she can’t endure any kind of pretence, dissimulation or ostentatious courtesy.

And when her parents offer her to think about a prospect of marriage with duke of Chealthorn, one of the most noble and wealthy men in the country, she refuses indignantly. “I‘m not too silly or vain to marry a duke. It will never happen!”.

But who may know, perhaps in the future she will have to break her promise?..
