Cherry Biscuit CakeThis cake is rather easy to make and doesn't need much experience.Cherry Biscuit Cake1 year ago in Resources More Like This
But keep in mind when I am talking of cup I mean a real cup and not an unit for measurement!
Better start with a smaller cup if you are not sure how much dough you will get at the end.
It needs to fit into the baking sheet, otherwise it could end with a mess ;)
preparation
Mix the eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder and oil until you get a smooth dough. Blend the soda or sparkling water completely afterwards.
Add the dough to a fatted baking sheet and let it bake for about 25min at 170°C (air circulation enabled) until it gets a light tanning.
Bring the sour cherries with the juice of two jars to the boil. Keep the juice of the third jar for later.
Mix the custard powder with a bit of the cherry juice(until it is all liquid and there are no lumps left). Optionally you can add a bit of sugar as well. I never do though.
Once the cherries boil add the custard powder and let it all thicken.

101 Photography Tips1. Don't be scared. If you shoot digital take advantage, buy a big memory card and shoot as much as possible. The more you shoot the more you will learn. You can now get a 4GB SD Memory Card for under $5 so cost is not an excuse!101 Photography Tips4 years ago in Resources More Like This
2. If possible always shoot RAW so you can make changes during post processing and not lose image quality.
3. Fill the frame. Too many amateurs fail to do this. Don't have your subject small in mid frame, zoom in and make them fill the whole thing!
4. Learn to preview shots along with the histogram on your cameras LCD to ensure you have the right exposure. It can be tricky to tell from looking at the LCD on the camera, especially in sunny conditions.
5. Don't waste your money on more mega pixels. More mega pixels simply means you can print your image out bigger without losing quality. How many time do you want poster sized prints?
6. Following on from 5. the best place to spend money is on lenses. Save up for good ones rather than buying cheap ones.
7. Ok, 6.
*Art Journal (Part 1: Introduction to Art)Note : I greatly appreciate anyone who has taken the time to skim through the following. I don't expect anyone to give this a thorough read as it's pretty long (~5,000 words for this part excluding external readings) and some sections may not apply to you as well, in fact I almost don't recommend it unless you really have the time for it.*Art Journal (Part 1: Introduction to Art)3 months ago in Personal More Like This
Anyways, I hope in some way this journal and future parts will help out.
There are no excuses to not draw.
"... whatever excuse you have stuck in your head isn't true. Sometimes we get these absurd notions stuck in our head so hard that it seems like an insurmountable fact. Sometimes a friend tells us we can't do it. Sometimes our family members think its a waste of time. Sometimes complete strangers *redacted* on our artwork so hard we feel like complete losers. But none of them are right. YOU. CAN. DO. IT." -Shawn McCauley

In MemoryI may have walked with my head held highIn Memory1 year ago in Personal More Like This
My tongue spouting quotes and dates
and confident phrases
But underneath was a quivering soul
A human
Imperfect and flawed
But still beautiful
And this human had dreams, wishes
One, to be loved
Two, to touch someone's life
To matter
And, in the end, to be missed
Never forgotten
Born again in each generation's memory
But never, never immortalized
If I should be remembered for anything
I wish it to be my flaws

FAlling into youWhat are some of your favorite words or phrases associated with Autumn?FAlling into you2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Write me a haiku. I love them. *smiles*
**Thank you for all who participate, I will always try to answer each response and I appreciate your patience. If you are late to the party, no worries, the words will still run sweet on my tongue.
Here is mine:
Leaves whistle under
Sweetly riddled and lonely
In the kissing fall
and another one:
Incarnadine blaze
Horizon fire against
Cold slumbering earth
Keep them coming, it's nice to see how different each one can be.

inspiration. I am but an apprentice and know
that I shall never be the master art is
infinite, flowing into me, through me and

Should my art inspire you to hold your

simply say Ah, then I am both humbled and

faces, in despair,
and I grow used to it,
habituated to the pain.
But will we bow
to what should not be,
what cannot be?
This question hovers,
unanswered,
as history bleeds out
upon an ancient hill;
it soaks the sacred earth.
