Flik's Adventure, Chapter 5Flik's Adventure, Chapter 5
Atta was stunned, to say the least, by the blue smoke. Who could be visiting her? It certainly wasn't Kaliman. The smoke cleared, and out from the smoke came a short blue pillbug. He coughed from the smoke, and then turned to face Atta.
"Good evening, miss." the pill-bug stated in an English accent. "I am Essen, assistant to His Majesty. I have been given the task of keeping watch over you."
Atta was beginning to get very upset considering all that she had been through. "Look, mister!!" she said, exasperated. " Do you honestly think I need ANOTHER overlord in my life?!?! The BEST thing you could do for me now is to get me out and take me back home!!"
"I'm sorry, miss," Essen sighed. "but I can't do that. Would you care to explain your anger to me?"
Atta was cautious at this statement. "Would you tell Kaliman about our conversation?", she asked.
"No, miss. I would not."
Atta sighed. "Well, here it goes..." Atta told about how she had been kidnapped by Kaliman

The air smelt of fresh flowers and of after rain. That had to be one of Fliks favorite smells. Ironic given the current state of things. He pondered this for a moment standing on that rock looking over the vast dry area before him. Was he considered a King now? Well he was Atta's and Atta was his. Did that mean he was the second in command? Years of tradition would push against his wishes. Of course not. The women had all the power. He smiled to himself at the thought. It wasn't the worst thing for the ant hill to be governed by his love.
Thinking of her had became a hobby of his. He hadn't been able to see her as much. After the peaceful passing of her mother, she had been worried about an heir. Dot was the perfect candidate but who after that? Flik chuckled to himself as a day dream of Atta and an army of baby girl ants came to mind. How cute. He himself thought the Queen was getting a little bit too worried. They did live a happy life with no interfering bugs or raging bad weather b

Phoebus was ready to emerge out from under Quasimodo's carving table as Quasi himself was sitting hopelessly on the floor before him.
Phoebus: We - *bonk* .Agh . *looks up at the table and Quasi starts giggling* ..oh shut up.
Quasi: *shakes head* ... No way!
Scene 199 He Shall Smite The Wicked (Take 10)
Before a blue screen, Quasimodo carefully perches his footing along the side of the set, to make it seem like he had just fallen and struggling. Frollo is looking over, having his cape being gripped by the Hunchback below. They both wait a moment.
Director: Al'right . Action!
Quasimodo then accidentally pulls down on the cape which pulls Frollo over. Yelling, he goes over the parapet, but his safety line snags and he hangs from his waist upside down.
Frollo: Sheer brilliance .
Quasi: *shocked for a moment* . *gets ready to laugh*

OH MY GOD, THIS IS THE GREATEST STORY I'VE EVER READ IN MY LIFE!
Long ago, in the land of- SPOILERS!
There's this boy named Jake, who lives in a world where everybody does magic!
It's kind of like Harry Potter, but without all the whining.
So this world is then invaded by aliens who look kind of like letters of the alphabet!
I always knew the alphabet was evil! Why else would Sesame Street devote entire episodes to them?
So then Jake gets a giant sword to fight off the evil alphabet letters!
All great stories have giant swords! Remember Bleach? That has giant swords in it!
Along with a great big bowl of idiocy.
So then Star Fox and Super Mario come to Jake's world, and they're like:
"We need you to stop the alphabet from taking over the universe!"
And Jake's like:
"Can't I save my world first?"
"Nah, we'll just leave them on a planet being overrun by unstoppable aliens. Th

Earthworm Jim (GBA)
Hello, and welcome to my yearly episode of Disappointing Remakes. Now, what video game fan who grew up in the 90s doesn't remember Earthworm Jim? The goofy but cool characters, trippy yet colorful levels, and the varied yet awesome soundtrack all combined with shoot-em-up platforming to give us one hell of a game. Coming out during an age when Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life were considered brilliant television, the game turned out to be a big hit, spawning several remakes, three sequels, a toy line, and even an animated series. And surprisingly, the cartoon actually stays true to the game's spirit, giving us even more cool characters and more of the humor found in the game!
Wait, a cartoon based on a video game that doesn't suck?
DOES NOT COMPUTE

Sorry about that. Anyway, when the Game Boy Advance lau

Chapter One: Beautiful Beginnings:
“Hey,” greeted a young, beautiful, brunette haired 8-bit woman. She turned to her husband that finally came back from work.
“Hey, sweetheart, I'm sorry, I'm late...” The man slipped off his cap and hung it on the coat hanger. Revealing his light brown short hair. He walked over and took a seat beside the woman.
The woman gave him a loving smile, before placing a affectionate kiss on his forehead. “It's alright, you can't control the gamers.” She smiled as she got up and walked over to a little baby crib.
The man chuckled. “That's true, Litwak decided to let these brothers stay behind. He wanted to see if the youngest could beat the oldest in whose got the highest score,” The man chuckled as he took off his gloves and unbelted his belt which held his beloved hammer. He hung both this items alongside the cap, as he went over to catch up with the woman.
License to ExcuseIt wasn't his fault he kept telling himself. However, trapped within the colossal confines of Titan's Tower, seemingly alone, the thought it was his fault kept curling back up into his mind. He just sat there, staring at the blank TV screen while his metallic form just sat limp on the couch. The sound of the twisting metal and painful screams kept replaying in his mind despite his vacant look. He was so far gone that he failed to notice or perhaps just not care about the sound of one of the living room doors opening to let a visitor join him in the room. The visitor, dressed in her usual silky black and purple circus-esque clothing, stepped down the small stairs to the main area of the room before taking a small moment to admire it.License to Excuse3 years ago in Humor More Like This
Her attention to the room was quickly lost as her eyes set on the sullen form of Cyborg on the couch. "Hey Cyborg," she waved to him with a light smile but noticed he didn't make a motion in return. "Cyborg?" she moved around the couch so she was in front o

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the Lego World. As the sun rose over all the Lego realms, people got up and set to work.
In Middle Zealand, the King rose and ordered his servants to get breakfast ready for him and his knights, while the Dragons were fed by servants throwing chickens into their mouths. In the Old West, cowboys yawned and drank coffee, gulped down beans, biscuits and bacon, then went into the desert to start rounding up cattle. In Space, the astronauts wrote their diaries then ate space food. In Mata Nui, Matorans ate breakfast then ran to their daily jobs, while each of the Toa Nuva headed off to the Master Builder meeting. At New Cloudcuckooland, everyone simply ate whenever they felt like it-there were no bedtimes or rules, after all.
As the sun rose over Bricksburg, it shone on one newly built apartment, shaped like the Piece of Resistance and decorate

“Why did I agree to play hide and seek with a ghost?” he wondered aloud. The stupidity of the situation should be obvious and self-explanatory.
Kids were running around playing everywhere, and parents were sitting on every bench.
Two teens were sitting by a tree enveloped in each other… rather openly. Crocie was about to march over to split it up, for the sake of the ever-so-delicate public. But then…
A somewhat recognized voice, that of a child, laughed, “Davey! Wait for me!” When Crocie turned, a little girl with purple hair ran past. The features that flashed by looked too familiar for him to overlook.
Crocie put out his hand to the top of the girl’s head to stop her, and turned her around. Then he scrutinized her face with attention to detail. It didn’t take long for him to look surprised.
“Are you Thyne’s daughter?” Crocie asked rather

Flik sat on the edge of Ant Island, gazing at the sunset. How he loved such scenes like this. To him, they were so calming. Just as he was gazing, Queen Atta came out.
"What are you doing, Flik?", she asked.
Flik perked up at her voice. "Nothing, my sweet," he said. "Wanna come watch the sunset with me?"
Atta grinned. "Yeah, sure!" she exclaimed.
The two ants sat down, saying nothing for a while, gazing at the beautiful su

Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis
Hello, mariomaster88 here. So, its been a while since I wrote one of these. One full year to be accurate. Well, I've decided that's how its going to go. Every 24th of December, I'm going to talk about a bad remake of a game, and then suggest an alternative game to buy. With that out of the way, let's just get to the review.
Some time ago, a classic game was remade for portable systems. The view may have been zoomed in, but it was still fun to play, and it included a whole bunch of new features to make it a whole new experience. But enough about Nintendo's excellent Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Game Boy Color, let's talk about a game that does this kind of stuff wrong, in this case Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for the Game Boy Advance.
Boy, 2006 was a bad year for Sonic. We got the disappointment that was Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 for the 360, which caused a really bad stretch that SEGA has only recently been able to pull out of. Su
