Soft, juicy peach,
your essence is in my mouth,
your fuzzy sweetness
trickling down my throat,
running down my spine,
shivering in my skin,
all the way down to the root.

I saw you last night
dressed in deep green.
Sweet brown tresses
softly call me to you.
Enjoying you but thinking of her,
another face for another country.
I saw you today
dressed in shimmering sequins.
Dark almond eyes
softly call me to you.
Enjoying you but thinking of her,
it's so hard to be in one place
when you're torn in two.
The Man in the Red TieIt is a porcelain god in a halogen world, the man in the red tie. Its shades are drawn like it wants to shut out the light but still it peaks through to city below, through the smog and rain, watching it flood over its shores and levees with people. The Man in the Red Tie4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Its hair is combed, clean, radiant and it is a lion of industry whose face is the sun. Its pride is on paid vacation and on the verge of retirement; tonight it stands a lone titan. Starched suit, golden watch; it is propped up by all it is made of.
The man in the red tie stands in the obsidian tower it had built in its likeness. Today, it swallowed worlds and words alike. Tonight it is sated, but unsatisfied. The meal was bitter and lacked substance.
A zebra strides into the den with papers in his hand. His stripes run long, thin and white down his suit. He stays alive by running faster than the predators and paying tribute to the lion. Loose leaf sheets land on the wooden desk, crumbling far away empires to dust. Today, the zebra lives.

(Or, What Is Beyond The Bridge)
Its a Sunday afternoon,
Drowsy and dark.
It starts to rain, black streaked
Pebbles on a sky that gradually
As the world moves forward
Beneath our feet.
In the morning, it will still be raining.
The sky, however, will be clear blue
The pebbles streaked with gold
And rainbow-scars drawn tight
Against the slowly-softening light.

It is night
And I hear the soft thwip of the thread,
Sliding carefully into its place.
Later, this time,
And keyboard keys rattle and twist,
Toss and turn
And tell campfire tales of darkness.
And she collapses to her knees.
The cakes wont rise,
The cookies wont set,
She cries and she cries
Then is picked up and held
And shes human, oh so human,
And strong, oh so strong.

Standing in the rain,
I can see so clearly now,
The sting in the tail of pain.
Standing in the midst,
Of the effervescent night,
I wonder if the world can know,
That this moment is so perfect and right.
A deep seed sewn inside my heart,
A small innocent thought,
Grows much larger down inside,
With all the pain it's brought.
I run in fear of love and life,
I run away inside,
The feelings come to me so strong,
No longer can I hide.
To love for sure for real so strong,
I have to say goodbye,
To the pain I feel inside myself,
The fear so clear in my eye.
I stand here sinking inwards,
I scream and bawl and shout,
The pain is overwhelming,
I have to let it out.
I give it to the night time breeze,
I give it to the stars,
My heart will heal, I will be free,
Get rid of all its scars.
The ties that bound me I will loose,
I'm longing to be free,
No more will I live in my past,
My heart will now be free.

Radiohead Puns.I think Radiohead is Just the best band. Some say I Might Be Wrong in saying so; that Anyone Can Play Guitar like Jonny or Thom or Ed. I Can't believe there's people who think that... How Do You even think anyone can compare to them? I honestly think they're good enough that almost any of their songs could qualify to be The National Anthem of a country. While you may think I'm wasting my Dollars And Cents by buying all their albums, I Will continue to collect their CDs and even some lives on Videotape.Radiohead Puns.3 years ago in Comedy More Like This

That they're going downhill, and that they should simply Give Up The Ghost and stop writing altogether. But if you ask me, they've still got Everything In Its Right Place and I will therefore remain Optimistic about their future releases. You can Sulk all you want; I still enjoy their music right down to my Bones. If we're Lucky, they'll return to their r
My Little EssayLadies and gentlemen, I do not like My Little Pony. I especially do not like its new show, which is the main subject. That said, I bear no ill will toward it beyond the fact that it is simply not my cup of tea. If I were to meet a person who told me they enjoyed the show, I would think of them as my equal whom merely likes something I do not. I have no right to say what they should like or dislike. I have no interest to see My Little Pony, I do not hate it, I do not hate people who enjoy it. But there is something I do hate. I hate that I practically can't go five minutes online anymore without running into this show.My Little Essay2 years ago in Academic Essays More Like This
I mean my goodness, what has happened here? My Little Pony got a cartoon series about, what, a year or two ago by this point? Well regardless of the short amount of time, it was certainly in no hurry to take over the internet and aim for every corner. Gone are the days where I can browse on DeviantART, safe in the knowledge that I would not run into a character from one o

What is a Mary-Sue?--Character StudyIf you happen to love writing like I do, you tend to hear this term thrown around every once in a while. Mostly about characters created for fanfiction, but it can also apply to literature that stands on its own. Not everyone knows what it means, so I'll do a little clarification. What is a Mary-Sue?--Character Study1 year ago in Profiles More Like This
When most people hear the term, they think of a peppy, annoyingly snarky girl with oddly-colored hair and a contrived name who is impossibly hot, possesses an innumerable amount of magical powers, and really can do no wrong and has no weakness. And in some cases, this trope is correct. In reality however, ANY kind of character can be a Mary-Sue. It depends on how the character is portrayed by the author.
Here are some examples. I'm going to use my character Sawyer Stone from one of my stories as a healthy example of a character, and a character I just made up named Anthy Silverbell for the Mary-Sue. She's already off to a bad start due to her having that name of hers, but let's continue.

but he was convinced that his biggest scar was his heart
because he constantly felt broken.
(He always convinced himself that he was a monster,
but the secret is that he had a heart full of gold.)
I swore to myself
that I'd never cry around you
since you always made me feel like steel,
but the second I saw your limp body
I broke down until I could no longer breathe.
(I swear that my heart's been dead
ever since you've been gone.)
My father always said that when we are young
we aren't supposed to understand death
because we're all too addicted to drugs and alcohol,
but I knew that you were gone
the second that the sirens went off
and my heart went dead.
(We always used to get high on life together,
but now I'm so lost without you.)
(I never really was alive,
you took my heart with you.)

This ring I wear
On hand, once bare
This symbol that I bear
Beautiful, like you.
I never wanted diamonds
Eschewing that cold rainbow
I wanted something blue
Sapphires something that I knew
Diamonds were truly new.
I met you.
Sober, loving, true
There are so few
So few like you.
And what did you think of when you met
And set your eyes on me?
Sharing another drink
Stronger than your tea
And a bond
Breathed in, then yawned
As you brought it from the sink
We knew we were in sync
I accrued you from beyond
You, so eager to respond.
This ring I wear
Your ring, there
Upon the hands
Will shine, will gleam
And we will see them and will beam
The love of diamonds,
A better dream
So much to us they mean
So much to me you mean
In such a little thing .
Let the bells of our love ring
Let the gold and diamonds sing
Let the sun glint and bring
So much love
Wrapped up tight

One day while browsing on deviant Art or even Fanfiction.net you get a really great idea to create your own Original Character (OC). So cool, right? You make him/her for your favorite fandom so you can draw or write them it, its like youre in the series. You can make your favorite sexy anime guy or beautiful girl fall head over heels in love. You quickly write everything you would like if you were in that fandom and upload away. Thats when you get your first comment or review. As soon as you open it the room catches fire and you are incinerated within the depths of a Flame. A flame is a type of review or comment that is left usually to bash one writing or drawing and hold little to no constructive criticism to help with improvements. Thats when you realized you have been infected by the dread disease of creating a Mary-Sue. Whats the first thing you should do, throw it out right? wrong!

because you were a devil in training,
but you've never made death look so beautiful.)
