A dollop of Chaos
Pinkie had been randomly trotting around Ponyville for almost two hours, her gaze constantly checking the sky above her, looking for a cotton candy cloud, a drop of chocolate rain, something that could tell her that Discord was floating somewhere nearby. But that didn't seem to be a lucky day: she let out a deep sigh, sitting on the ground and finally lowering her look: only the sharp pain she felt on the back of her neck made her realize how long she had been inspecting the sky.
When Discord converted to the good side (as much as a Spirit of Chaos could do), she couldn't be more happy about it: she always felt like the draconequus would have been such a great partner to have fun with. Chocolate rain, balloon gardens, popcorn fields, he surely did speak her language! Moreover he was also so random and crazy, topsy-turvy just like her, whose behavior was always shrugged off with an "She's just being Pinkie Pie". Pinkie Pie set the bouquet of flowers down at the base of the statue and stared at them for a long time. They were the best roses that the florists had on demand. The colours were the brightest she had ever seen for roses. Their petals shone a vivid red in the morning sun, the perfect contrast to their bright green stems, wrapped in a small, white silk band that prevented the thorns from jabbing her mouth.
She sat down in front of the statue, staring at the flowers, not sure if she wanted to look up. Everything was so bright that day; even the grass stood out more than normal, its bright green felt stretching out towards Ponyville. She looked at everything on the barrow except for the statue. Day after day, month after month it was always the same. Standing in that humiliating pose twenty-four-seven. Having school groups pass you by and carry on endlessly about how silly you look. You didn't even get a backscratcher! And dear Celestia, it was hot in there.
