It's certainly been a while and I've been quite busy with all kinds of deadlines on various projects/commissions/etc. that I can't avoid, nor show you just yet. However, some of those projects I can publiscly display, or at least some of the artwork I've done for them, such as this one right here.
Rampaging Titan is a tabletop game designed by a long-time client and associate of mine, focusing on a struggle between Vikings and menacing Gaints, hence the title. The challenge here was to make the vikings as historically accurate as possible, thus I had to forget about horned helmets and other such fantastic decorations we usually see in depictions of the nordic folk nowadays. It was a challenge of course, but one I gladly welcomed, because I don't usually get to do much historical stuff. The Giants came a little easier though and I hope you agree that the end result between the referenced side of the art and my style merged rather seamlessly.
This image is meant to be a promotional illustration for the launching of the game's Kickstarter project of which I'll keep you duly up to date.
I hope I can post more soon and that you enjoy this one!
